  1. The Eagles will still win the NFC East. They are a much better team than the other three teams in the division. The only team that poses a threat to them are the Cowboys.
  2. I never said the 49er's should have beaten the Eagles. The Eagles played much better than the 49er's for most of the game, but pissed away chances. However, I think the 49er's should have beaten the Cowboys.
  3. The Falcons really messed up that game, and the Packers took advantage -Rodgers was great at finding any open WR - The Packers OL stepped up as the game progressed -No other QB besides Phillip Rivers cries as much as Rodgers when things don't go his way -Jemichael Finley is in no way, shape, or form a top five TE -Matt Ryan is just a slightly above average QB I think the Packers have a legitimate chance at going 16-0 during the regular season, especially with the cream-puff schedule they have.
  4. If Hernadez didn't drop that easy ass catch, he would have thrown two TD's. And, if Welker was just a little faster.......... I was mad he didn't throw for more, but I'll take the win.
  5. It's quite quiet in here....weird. . Anyways, I'll take the win, but the Patriots offense played like shit. They better not try and just run the ball every [expletive]ing down for the rest of the season. Brady was missing some WR's/TE's that he should have hit, but that happens. The defense was very good for the most part as well. And, the Jets continue to prove that they are frauds and do not belong in a group with the AFC elite.
  6. You always like to argue about stupid shit like that. To anyone that watched that game, they know the Cowboys were outplayed big time. Does that mean the Cowboys don't deserve the win? No, but they were vastly outplayed, and that type of game will usually favor the team that was playing better. It's not a hard concept, but you get too defensive about the Cowboys. The Cowboys won, and they made plays when they need to, but if both teams play the way they did in a ten game series, the 49er's win that 9/10 times, but they didn't that game. It's not too hard to understand.
  7. Go with the Islanders. Rangers- Popular team with a great (arguably best) goalie in the NHL, and have some good talent, but are boring as hell to watch right now. Sabres- Probably the best out of all of those teams right now, and are a "sexy" Stanley Cup pick right now with the additions they made this off-season. Devils- They have some good offensive firepower, and have some great defensive prospects, but are known as the most boring team in the NHL because of their system. Islanders: They're sucked for years, but they have tons of young talent, and one of the best players to be drafted recently in John Tavares. They'll be exciting to watch, and have arguably the best long-term future.....
  8. Kessel has always had the talent, and he's gotten undeserved criticism and hate from many people. I do not regret the trade at all because of the picks the Bruins ended up with, but if those were middle of the round picks, then I think the trade would favor the Leafs. He is such a threat any time he is one the ice, and his snapshot is something else. I hope he does well, but not against the Bruins.
  9. I think the Raiders may beat the Texans pretty badly. The Texans already don't have Andre Johnson, but now the Raiders lost Al Davis, and you know they will be fired up to play. It doesn't always work out that way when there's a tragic event in an organization, but it may happen today. I wish the game was in Oakland today though.
  10. After watching the Bruins and Lightning game tonight, there is one thing I took away from this game. I've thought this for a while, but Steven Stamkos should not be put in the same class as Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, and maybe a few other players. I barely even noticed he was on the ice tonight, and it's not the first time I've noticed that when watching him. When he's not on the PP, I think he is invisible quite often. I always laugh when people try and rank him over Malkin and place him in the "Big Three" of Crosby, Ovechkin, and Malkin. Watching the Penguins and Canucks game the other night, even though Malkin may not have played a great game, I noticed him every time he was on the ice. He was controlling the puck or trying to make something happen. With Stamkos, I didn't think he was playing most of the game. On a side note, Brad Marchand is really, really good. He could have easily had two goals tonight, and had many opportunities. Seguin is also looking a lot better. I really like what I saw from Benoit Pouliot tonight, and I think many Bruins fans did too after tonight. He's very fast, had multiple scoring opportunities, and was very physical.
  11. I told you I might consider trading Hernandez for him, but nothing more. There's a good chance he rots in Miami this season.
  12. Here's a couple of links http://www.raiders.com/ http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7074380/oakland-raiders-owner-al-davis-dies-82-team-website-says
  13. Lets just overlook what an ass he can be. Please, don't even try to defend his comment because you can't. He's a great player, but you don't say stuff like that.
  14. NHL playoffs>>>>. However, the playoffs this year have been pretty damn good It's interesting that the highest payroll teams didn't do jack shit....
  15. You have got to be shitting me. The Rangers get that shit after having zero shots the entire period, and get that on their second shot? .
  16. I wasn't trying to call you out on the lateness of the news, but here's the link. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/23/ravens-announce-passing-of-orlando-brown/ I don't really think ESPN talked about it much at all, which is why people may not have known. At least I don't remember them talking about it.
  17. Yes, it was announced last Friday, and it's sad to hear.
  18. It was great to see Hernandez tell the media if he was going to be playing this Sunday or not. .
  19. Even though it was only one game, and I have said that Philly may struggle because I think they are somewhat soft, that team is going to be pretty damn good this year. Claude Giroux and Jaromir Jagr are going to be an absolute treat to watch.
  20. The Great ECN predicts Brady throws for 4 TD's unless Riddley and BJGE get a lot of carries. The New England Patriots win this game by a score of 48-10.
  21. Santanio Holmes already starting to talk shit. .
  22. I'm sure Luongo will be fine......he just needs you to pump his tires. Also, Malkin didn't look too good tonight, but he was pretty good during certain parts of the game. He made Luongo his bitch on that shootout goal though.
  23. Where's your jock strap Luongo? . That was a nice deke!
