  1. I admit, the Kanye West one was a poor one, and I understand why ESPN did what they did. It's all about business, but I just don't think people should overreact about his comments. I don't think they were that bad, when it's obvious what he was trying to say.
  2. Herp derp. If you can't grasp what Williams was trying to say, then I don't know what to say. Was it a poor choice for a comparison? Possibly, but it's blatantly obvious what his point was, and it wasn't that Obama is a killer and murderer like Hitler.
  3. Let me break it down for you simpletons. He was not comparing the actions of Hitler to those of Obama. He was comparing how far apart Obama and Boehner are in their political views. It's really not that hard to understand. Was it an poor comparison? Maybe, but to not be able to comprehend what was actual meant is even dumber. Also, can anyone here tell me who Obama's top campaign donor was during 2008? I'm just kind of curious....
  4. O rly? :glasses: . Not to mention his season last year wasn't that bad.
  5. That could be the worst tackling I have ever seen.
  6. Is is really that difficult for people to understand? He's not comparing the two saying that Obama's actions are of the same kind like Hitler. He was making a comparison of people that would be odd fits hanging out. Was it the best thing to say? Maybe not, but it's not as outrageous as some of you want to make it seem. Again, why does MTV associate themselves with Kanye West after his very racist comments?
  7. Yet, MTV still associates with Kanye West after his "George Bush hates black people comment". Sit down, child, you have a lot to learn. Oh, no, Hank Williams spoke his mind and exercised his first amendment right. Would ESPN not show the game if Jim Caldwell made a racist comment about white people? I mean, he is representing the NFL.... .
  8. No, that's just when I need to re-introduce you to him. :glasses: .
  9. It's not that big of a deal what he said. It's just ESPN fears the liberals and the politically correct crowd will think it's the worst thing in the world.
  10. It's good to see people finally realize that when the Great ECN says a player is the best at his position or will be before other people notice, that I am usually correct. :glasses: . Anyways, I just don't want Rodgers to win it.
  11. Who are your top 5-10 MVP favorites at this point in the season? He are mine. 1.Calvin Johnson 2. Aaron Rodgers 3. Tom Brady 4. Darren McFadden 5. Wes Welker I'm not sure about putting McFadden and Welker there, but both are off to amazing starts, and I don't know which defensive players to put there because the top defensive players are on losing teams so far.
  12. His running style is very similar to this great man.....
  13. Allow me to to introduce you to........................ http://sportsofboston.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Stevan-Ridley.jpg This man will be getting a lot more carries as the season goes on, and I think he will be the featured back for the Patriots. I'm not saying he's an Adrian Peterson type player, but this kid is going to be very good. His speed and acceleration is a lot better than you would think by reading scouting reports, and he's extremely shifty. I think he'll play a major role this season.
  14. Mike Pereira said it should have been ruled a fumble.......just saying. Anyways, I guess you could say it's a grey area issue, but they really need to make a lot of the rules in the NFL much clearer. They need to be concise, and not debatable.
  15. This will be Todd Haley's last season. From everything I have read about him the past year, there has pretty much been nothing good said about him. His players seem to hate him, and he's a whining little bitch.
  16. It's a dumb rule, and I think 99% of people would agree with that, and I'm not saying you don't. This is almost as dumb as the rule that screwed Calvin Johnson last year. That should have been a fumble.
  17. Look at the MVP candidate there. :glasses: .
  18. Yes, I did. Right now, you are looking pretty good with the bets because we made two of them. 1.The Patriots will finish with a better regular season record than the Packers ($100) 2. The Packers will go deeper in the playoffs than the Patriots ($50)
  19. Damn, this game could have been a lot more lopsided, but a win is a win!
  20. It's cute how obsessed you are with me. .
