  1. Good thing I picked the Bengals in the pick'em. .
  2. Without Avant getting away with a clear penalty on the first missed FG, they could be winning.
  3. Smith has not been good, but Kap would be a disaster.
  4. What happened to Andre Johnson? I heard he was hurt.
  5. Until Roddy White can prove that he can catch tough passes and not drop a lot of balls, he is nowhere near those three other WR's. Those WR's are in a class of their own. All three of those WR's will be HOF players.
  6. This game could get interesting now....... Haynesworth, Bodden, Dowling, Volmer, and Hernandez are all out.
  7. Calvin Johnson Andre Johnson Larry Fitzgerald Brandon Marshall Vincent Jackson Anquan Boldin Mike Wallace Dez Bryant Hakeem Knicks Marcus Colston Roddy White Steve Smith (CAR) Greg Jennings What WR's do you think Miles Austin are better than? I don't think all of them are better, but this means at least four of them must be worse if he's in the top 10.
  8. The Chargers don't deserve to win a game when one of their players drives around in this..... http://l.yimg.com/a/p/sp/editorial_image/cd/cd59f1694e71ac1c8e16df9942d7aebc/antonio_garay_the_nose_tackle_who_drives_a_hello_kitty_smart_car.jpg
  9. It wasn't Lombardi's fault. It was Meehan and fat boy's fault.

  11. This is where the recent success of Boston sports and the entitlement of many Boston sports fans comes into play. Every since the Patriots won their first Super Bowl, anything less than a championship for any of the Boston sports teams is deemed a complete failure. Granted, the objective is to win a championship, losing isn't always a complete and utter failure like some Boston fans make it seem. He helped lead the Red Sox to two World Series championships, and suffered from the team having injuries to the pitching staff this year. It's not his fault somebody likes to give J.D. Drew a massive contract. It's not his fault that Carl Crawford absolutely sucked this season. Francona should share some of the blame, but at the end of the day, the onus falls on the players. This is dumb, dumb, dumb. Reading the Patriots message board recently, there are people questioning Belichick and his football intelligence lately. It's becoming absolutely absurd and unbearable at times with people around here. I want to see Boston teams win as much as any other Boston sports fan, but I'm not going to put the blame all on one guy. This would be like firing Belichick after the Patriots lost to the Giants, or firing Claude Julien after the Bruins blew a 3-0 series lead against the Flyers two years ago. Oh, and the next season, after that historic collapse (sound familiar Red Sox?) they won the Stanley Cup, and are in a great position this year. Again, I love Boston sports teams, but many Boston sports fans always have to blame someone, and it's usually one scapegoat. This time it's Francona, which is absolutely dumb. It was a total organizational collapse, and most of the blame should fall on the players and management. They didn't win a World Series for nearly a century, and win two in the past ten years with the same manager, and are now ready to let him go........
  12. The 49er's message board has a thread going about what people really think of Romo, and this is one of the posts I just read, that makes some good points, mainly statistically. "He is truly a stud. He takes chances, has a cannon, slings the ball and isn't afraid to make things happen. He is also the 4th highest rated qb in NFL history, and the HIGHEST RATED 4TH QUARTER QB IN NFL HISTORY. People who say he chokes are crazy. He plays for the Cowboys, so when someone farts, it's covered in the media. His mistakes are looked at with a microsope. He's led like 10 comeback wins in the 4th quarter or OT, and has the numbers to prove he is a stud. He's playing with 1st and second year kids, with a line more inexperienced than any in the NFL, a patchwork WR corp with the injuries, and is injured. He's also very, very smart. He reads defenses, knows what they're doing, and finds the holes -- a la reality star beats the 49ers. He was all over the Jets that first game. His strength is also his flaw -- taking chances. That leads to big risk and big reward. He is rewarded more often than not, but when he makes a mistake it is blown up. 42-26 career record 122td's/64 int's 95.5 career QBR (4th best all-time) 8.1 YPA (4th best all-time) I'd take that dude in a second!"
  13. I was saying on AIM you did say that no game is over in the first half when the game was 21-0, but I'm talking about when Brady threw his first pick that could have resulted in a 28-7 lead at that point, but they turned it over, and you said that the Patriots could have put them away at that point, and we all know how that turned out. However, I usually don't think games are over early, but I was saying that the Patriots are putting the Bills back where they belong...... Anyways, this week's prediction is 47-13 Patriots.
  14. I'm 2/3 so far, and should be 3/3, but you jinxed the Patriots at the end of the first half with your comment about the game being put away at that point if the Patriots score. -_- .
  15. Well, it looks like Doughty agreed to an 8 year/56 mil contract. Here comes the groin pull for an out of shape player.......
  16. I was going to agree with you on that point, but then I saw Flash's last post which I think he's talking about the graphic advertisements that are shown in Europe. I still agree with your point though.
  17. Child, please! . Why would I give you an HB who could be one of the best in the NFL if he gets healthy for a player that isn't a very good starting HB, and a WR who hasn't seen the field much? I like Ocho, but I'm not giving up a ton for him.
  18. No big deal. He eats steaks and fries, and just likes to win Mr. Olympia contests. Regardless of people saying he juices, he is one of, in not the greatest bodybuilder to ever live, and eats steaks and fries which are high in fat. http://creditplushealth.org/health%20picture/ronnie%20coleman%204%20mr%20olympia%202003.jpg
  19. People thinking fats just make you fat. . It's called portion control, yet people don't understand that.
  20. You don't think there would be lots of complaining and finger pointing if the Flyers struggle this year after making that trade, and Richards and Carter player well in L.A. and Columbus?
