I don't care where Thomas gets ranked, so good job trying to troll....not. All I'm saying is that Miller is not as good as people make him out to be.

I've never seen Bill Belichick come close to crying before. .

There's a replay of the first episode on NFLN right now. This is a great film to watch.

Pats vs. Bears, positions battle. Who's better?
EastCoastNiner replied to reno's topic in NFL Football
Not even talking about a comparison tho the Patriots HB's, but I don't think Matt Forte is that good. I think he's an upper end of the middle of the pack running backs. -
Did anyone see the first part of the documentary tonight? It was on NFLN, but I don't have it at school, so I've been watching a few segments of nfl.com. Here's one segment: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d82246bac/A-Football-Life-Belichick-s-execution Bill Belichick absolutely loves Ed Reed, and I love how he told Derrick Mason to "Shut the [expletive] up" and said "Can you look at the scoreboard.

I think you're short changing the Bear defense a little. I think Peppers, like you recognized in your last post, is absolutely an elite player, and I think Briggs and Urlacher can be near elite as well, although I think they're both overrated. I think the Bears defense is pretty good, and I don't really know what to think about the Saints defense. -

They'll beat the Saints, and the NFC North will all come down to head to head match-ups with the Packers. -
I will. He is signing with the Patriots, so I'm happy.

I just picked up Randy Moss as well.

I just made an interesting trade with .50. Fitzpatrick For: Manning

What's Miller done besides on very good season? He's played poorly in the playoffs, and hasn't done much else. Also, I like Lundqvist, but the excuses and reasoning for him needing the be #1 need to stop. The defense in front of him is not nearly as poor as people like to make it sound, and their defensive system is pretty good.

I made a counter offer to your counter offer. .

QB's: Patriots: It's not even close HB's: Patriots: They have BJGE, Woodhead, Vereen, and Riddley. That's excellent depth, and each player brings a different dynamic. I know people will disagree because they might not know much about Vereen and Riddley, but they are both really good. WR's: Patriots: I'll take the excellent route runners in Welker, Branch, and Ochocinco (we'll wait and see), along with Edelman, Price, and Slater. Part of this may be influenced by the "system" they play in, but I wouldn't trade them for CHI's WR's. TE's: Patriots: Again, it's not even close. Both TE's are near impossible to cover. Gronk has the size, strength, and hands, as well as some good speed for his size. Aaron Hernandez has great speed, and is more of a hybrid, and everyone has seen what he can do. He needs to fix his fumbling problems though. O-Line: Patriots: Again, it's not even close, and if Solder can play like he did last week, this o-line will be something special. ST's: Bears: I'll give it to the Bears here, but the Patriots special teams aren't bad. D-Line: Bears (for now): I'll give it to the Bears right now as they are proven, but I truly believe by the end of the season most people will say the Patriots d-line is better. LB's: Bears: It's the Bears, as they have some great LB's. I think the Patriots have the best Lb out of both teams, but you can't pick against CHI here. However, Spikes and Cunningham could make this closer or change the answer if they play well. DB's: Draw: I'm really not sure, but I do like the NE secondary. The game against Miami, they were playing soft for a lot of the game when Henne tore them up. McCourty and Dowling could be a great combo. Overall, it's the Patriots, and it's not really close. I'm not the most knowledgeable about college football, so I'd like to see what iBoldin or someone else has to say about the two rookie HB's for the Patriots. -
Oh, alright, I guess you don't recognize or remember who it is. In that case, let me reintroduce you to........
-
I was going to mention them as well.
-
I sent you an offer.

The Sabres have become the "sexy" pick for many people this year, but I think they'll do worse than people are thinking. Their top six is soft as hell, and will get pushed around. Also, I've never been a believer in Ryan Miller, except during the Olympics. I don't think he's as good as advertised. My top three from the East, in no particular order would be: Boston Pittsburgh Washington I think Pittsburgh is going to be really, really, really good this year, and I think Ovechkin and Semin will tear it up this year as well. I also like the position that Boston is in as well. They lost very few pieces, being Kaberle, Ryder, and Recchi, all players that fans were tired of for a lot of the season. I am really hoping Seguin can have a huge year, and it's going to be great to watch this team play. They have an excellent top nine, and their 4th line is one of the best as well. Chara leading the defense, and Timmy and Rask will both be battling for the starting job. It's going to be a very exciting season..

The week after SpyGate. Fail. I was disapointed with the Super Bowl loss, but it's done with and over. I've never said the Giants didn't play well or anything along those lines. Did I think the Patriots would win the game? Yes, but after week 17, I wasn't as confident.
-
Does anyone have interest in Marshawn Lynch? I'd also possibly be willing to move Aaron Hernandez in a trade.

Again, you're still trying to read too far into things. It was as simple as positng the most recent clip of the Patriots beating the Chargers badly, a game many New England fans really remember, especially because it was the game right after "spy-gate". It was nothing more than that. If I wanted to troll, I would be talking about the Packers and their players usuage of hgh. You really are reading too far into things when they're much more simplistic than that. Again, with the reading comprehension problems, here is what I said, and here is what you said. Me: . I posted a video of a RECENT game where the Patriots beat the Chargers, who like to beat their chests before the season, and then go back into their shell after NE smokes them as usual. YOU: The Chargers like to beat their chest before the season? LOL, what have you been doing with your team? It's right in your face. I never mentioned anything about Charger fans beating their chests, but YOU said I (a Patriots afn) have been beating my chest. So, don't tell me I have the reading comprehension problems when it was you that couldn't understand a simple comment. So, please go back and find the quotes where I said the Patriots were certainly going to win the Super Bowl last year. I'm sure you will find a lot more talk about me disliking the Jets and other teams than about the Patriots themselves because I knew they had weaknesses, and they probably would have lost to the Packers in the Super Bowl. At the end of the day, you and I both know that you're just trying to step in here and try and find comments of mine to miscontrue to act like you are supporting other members from someone trolling, which is fine, except I was not trolling at all. Not one bit. I still don't understand how you take something so simple and obvious, and try and turn it into something else. If you respond, fine, if not fine, but this thread should get back on track.

Good thing that wasn't a playoff game. That was week 2 of the regular season after Mangeni opened his mouth.
-
Can you try and reach any further when you know you were wrong? I didn't think you were this clueless, but apparently you are. Just like 2007, this is the second week of the season in Foxboro......against the Chargers. I'm saying that the Patriots are going to kick their ass. Let's put 1 and 1 together for minute. Patriots.....Chargers....blowout....recently.....2007! WOW!! CRAZY, huh?!?!?!?! I mean, wow, that was such a crazy thing to mention! I don't get how you can't comprehend that. Again...Patriots...Chargers...blowout...recently...Patriots win......2007. There's a reason I didn't post their playoff game against the Chargers that year. That's because the game was close. It's really not that hard to understand, and I'm 99% sure you know that, but what you're doing is trying to "defend" other members here (that are usually the instigators) and try and make a point, even though you know exactly what I mean. Secondly, I can tell you have reading comprehension problems. I said the Chargers, not their fans, like to beat their chest, and then proceed to get smacked around. Also, I made it very clear this year that I will be confident because I rarely say and Boston team is going to win it all with any doubt. I had a response, but I deleted it because this isn't worth arguing about because it's going to just go back and forth. All I will say is that this season, I will be confident as hell. I never said the Patriots were going to win certain games last season. I talked more about the Jets, and them being frauds than I did of New England actually being a great team because I knew they had weaknesses. One last thing. Make sure you don't post any videos of LeBron or any other player this season from season's before, alright? I mean, if LeBron goes off against the Knicks, make sure you don't post a game from previous seasons where he went off against....welll....the Knicks.
