  1. We'd all have to fly to our destinations so no one would smack each other with the maps. Picture Mannhattan pedestrians all on either ATT or VZ network.
  2. Yo, this should've been the Magic's game. I do like how the Hawks balled out and made it a great game, though. Kudos to Josh Smith on the hustle rebound, but dammit, dem Magic had that game. Congrats Hawks fans. Stan Van is right! Smith should've been blocked out. That's why you keep grinding until the horn sounds. Lewis, I think it was, let tha man slide right by him.
  3. Tru dat! Dude was on top of the basketball world. Can you imagine a title in Toronto then?
  4. If Stern allows it? LOLOLOL. As a long time FL resident I can say that I really look out for our NBA franchises, but that city of CHARLOTTE...I see them doing big things soon. The NBA's southeast division can really dominate. We'll have to see what lies ahead this summer in terms of free agency. As far as them gettin' the 8 spot and matching up with Cleveland...that can be a tricky series especially with Gerald Wallace covering LBJ. However, there is way too much playoff experience in Cleveland, the Lebron factor(he doesn't have to score over 20), and a coach that always looks like its now or never. The 1st round is what nowadays.....a 5 game series? I really want Charlotte in there at 8 but it'll be Cleveland in 4 games. No sweep, though.
  5. C'MON Guys the Phoenix Suns Gorrilla has to be the greatest mascot ever. His athletic flips to the basket were phenomenal and he/she was a great complement to Charles Barkley's thunder in the 90's.
  6. MAN I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE! Should make for a great game but w/ Kansas gone, the Terps need to represent!
  7. Duely noted. A significant decline in pts avg, but you think Miami won't be able to get him the ball?
  8. I gotta give it to Boynton, the kid got game. But his carelessness with the ball is what doomed the Gators. Oh, BYU's interior defense seemed resilient, too. That Fredette kid, I give him credit. Sharpshooter!
  9. Contrarary to pop belief I think they would've co-existed. Drex and Olajuwon seemed mature and humble enough to play 2nd and 3rd option. Drex was maybe 20lbs away from a Pippen like frame so he could've played the 3 spot. Houston in the 1980's would've been outrageous! Especially with Warren Moon and company lighting up the NFL scoreboards. Dang, i'm getting depressed, too!
  10. Seriously, dude? Tebow was having success since he was relieving Chris Leak. Due to that sustained success, and consequently spotlight, the argument of Tebow being the GOAT is far more valid than a Bush or Vince Young. Stop hating on Gator football, and the southeast for that matter. As a Christian man Tim Tebow will be alright...even if he does get drafted high.
  11. What was up with that play-in game???? Both teams shot abyssmal percentages and they think they have a shot at Duke. They need to tighten up before they take on the BD's
  12. Heck ya, I could see Pujols in Citizens Bank. I don't think either team will see a noticeable drop off in play. They'll still be teams to be reckoned with.
  13. Its good seeing this kid become great. That's a very impressive topic. But as far as him gaining weight, as long as he can stay agile.
  14. Dude you should be arrested for this type of cruelty. Got me!!!!!!!!
  15. Hasn't Gerald Wallace missed more games than anyone one this list? One of my favorite players, but doesn't tough translate to games played, too? We've related Cal Ripken Jr. to tough for years! Gerald Wallace is a baller, but his career high for GP is 72, and that was 3 years ago!
  16. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_w3B4zNTuhpk/S5UFkVhwyZI/AAAAAAAACRw/ap0Z6k9jfmw/s1600-h/benjamin-franklin.jpg "He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money." - Benjamin Franklin People get so caught up with what they make per hour, that they lose sight of the true meaning of 'the rat race.' There's no meaningful differences between a man that earns $10/hr and a woman that earns $19/hr.....they're BOTH employees working hard for another person's dream. Get it? Moral of story....love what you do, do what you love. A major difference between the wealthy and the impoverished is that the wealthy man/woman figures out ways to make money doing what they love. Adversely, the impoverished finds ways to spend it on things they love. Regardless of what wage you allow yourself to be defined by, there are two sides to this rat race. There are the merchants of the world, and there's the consumers....after you pick a side, then lets discuss rat race. Just a deep thought.... Oh, good morning by the way......
  17. I really like this move for the city of Charlotte. In an already economically blessed locale, Charlotte is a southeastern sports city that has been slept on for over 20 years. A move like this by Jordan would really help supplant the region as a legitamate competitor with the Atlanta or Miami-Dade area.
  18. I'll take Curry for his pedigree and his cool under pressure...FT%
  19. The only good that would come outta this is better attendance in Oakland.
  20. Any reason why this competition was so bland? No one tries anymore!
  21. I can't see him leaving Miami. He'd be crazy to.
