  1. You gotta admit though, the man is a very effective jump shooter from 12-15 ft out. Great touch!
  2. How long before you think Baron Davis flips the heck out on this team? Man, this is too bad for Jamison. He's always been such a talented player, but he just keeps gettin' raw deals. Even if he was supposed to get dealed to GS...that's just the Warriors. Not much of an upgrade for the Cavs. A guy of this caliber should be on a title contender already.
  3. Anyone else think that Wall and Westbrook will end up the bottom two in this competition? Talented players, there's a lot of experience ahead of em.
  4. Add me to the growing list of people that are surprised to see the Houston Rockets in the top 5. I really thought Houston (and the rest of Texas) was football central. I've never had beef with the Rockets franchise, though. Good for them.
  5. Totally irrelevant! ANYTHING can sell in the city of New York. It's a basketball city, and I wouldn't be surprised if the seats at MSG are packed consistently because of all the celebs that can be spotted in there. It's only now that people are going to see a great product (on the court).
  6. Yo!!! Wus good, basketball fans?

    1. NomarFachix

IllWill21 isn't on the AS Ballots, that's what's NOT good. Wall, Arenas, and Jennings lead Felton in AS Voting. NOT good.

  7. Man, this guy impresses yet again! Talk about a beast in a small frame. If it wasn't for his stats tonight, Ray Allen's high percentage shooting would probably get more jaws dropping....especially against the Spurs. Boxsore (1/6/11)
  8. Public Sex was I movie my wife and I watched the night of 1/1/11 on that Sundance network and I guess it was decent. It's an Indie film (of course), and if you're not into those type of films you may not be moved. However, the title of the movie is far from misleading. The movie had potential, but it's premise was introducing the world to the London culture of "dogging", or public sex. It was more funny than being borderline porn, but the plot was almost as absent as your typical XXX film. Decent cinematography if you've never visited London, and you may want to put the captioning on; the accents were truly genuine. I couldn't locate the movie art for it, but I did manage to get this link of the trailer. Public Sex Trailer My overall rating: 3.5/10
  9. In that game vs the Lakers, wow!!! I like the way KG batted that weak Madsen shot. You heard that guy? Talking about it was close. That was a clean block! LMAO. This vid reminded me just how great this cat was. Thanks for the vid.
  10. What tha hecks wrong with you guys? Devin Hester could get in right now, and should get in on account of what he's already accomplished in the league. The last time I've checked, the HOF is full of game changers. Hester is truly one, especially when he's making the opposition kick to one (narrow) side of the field. You just don't want to kick to this guy. The Hall should honor every position in the game and just because return men are rare doesn't mean he should be left out of HOF disscussions. Hell, the guy's from South Florida, isn't he?
  11. Man, this is hot ish!! I'm so pro Coca Cola and anti Pepsi. I haven't seen any around my parts yet, but I wouldn't doubt if they start popping up around Clearwater Bch this summer. What would set it off is if they come with debit card machines.
  12. What a reject. Was he intoxicated or something? You think the camera man went to jail too?
  13. Really? You think so? Popularity, true...but on the court, I don't think he was that close. The injuries made sure of that. Next to Ralph Sampson and Christian Laetner, Yao Ming has to be the biggest dissapointment in the history of the league.
  14. I wish they'd hurry up and finalize this already. So Carmello can quit griping about not getting as much attention now as Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. He'd do well in NY, I think. For the team, the city, AND the league. I think the Knicks is the only NY team w/o a marquee name. Sorry, Galinari and Stoudamire is no Patrick Ewing or Sprewell or Starks.
  15. This is great for coach George Karl!!! He seems like a great guy and the ultimate players coach. He's one of those guys that you find it hard to hate. I'm an NBA old skool head, so I remember when he was working on this milestone with Payton, Kemp, and Schremph. It's been a lonnggg time coming and I cannot express how proud I am of George Karl. Screw the titles, this milestone is tough to accomplish.
  16. Hard to believe that the franchise is that old. Even harder to believe that they've been in the city for 44 years. The display of Yao Ming's ball control ability at 2:27 was nice, but the way Hakeem Olajuwon did David Robinson at 3:26 was totally insane!!! I wasn't a fan of the Houston Rockets coming up but Olajuwon is a top three center of mine of all time. This was a very good video. It really sums up all the talent that ran through that franchise. You really don't think about the Rockets in a converstion of all time talent. Great video!
  17. Woohoo! Go Gators, right? This guy needs to stop it, man! Coming from the FL Gators, I figured him getting drafted by the Pats would tighten him up. He must really have some character flaws if warden Bellichek can't get to him
  18. I'm wit you there. Far from perfect, but a darm good outing for Nash.
  19. Man, that wasn't even right. He exploded on that dude!!!
  20. The Knicks need to strip down and rebuild their identity. Get back to the days when they were bruisers and kept games under 94 pts (per team) a night. D'Antoni is the ceiling for this team, and 'Melo would make this team a title contender either. What the Knicks need is grit, keep Chandler, keep Gallinari, rid Stoudamire and start over. This piss poor soft ball won't do the city of NY justice much longer.
  21. For the past couple of days I've been thinking about the most populated cities and their proximity to water. Don't mind me, I go into deep thought like that at times... In this 2006 list of the most populated cities in America, of the top 10 cities 7 of them are within 75 miles of a major body of water. It got me to thinking about humans and their fanaticism to waterfront property. If it wasn't for the state of Texas, 10 of the top 10 most populated cities in America would probably have EZ access to the coast. I dunno, any thoughts?
  22. Nash will fold in the NYC lights...lol. It'll be an upgrade for the New York Knicks, of course, but they'll need a lot more than that just to compete with Philly.
  23. Mine are.... 1. Martin 2. The Cosby Show 3. King of The Hill 4. Jeopardy 5. The A-Team 6. The First 48 7. Married With Children 8. In Living Color 9. The Wire 10. The Simpsons
