  1. Mine is D.C. all the way! I've visited NYC a handful of times and I've been to Chicago once. Never been to LA, though. I like the melting pot in Washington, the proximity to a variety of towns, and the educational value of the city. Lots of museums, culture, and beautiful women! The Metro is much cleaner and smoother than the "proverbial" NYC subway system and it's not really that huge city feel goin on there. Oh, Charlotte is quickly climbing my list of fav cities to visit.
  2. I want Mike Vick, especially if I have a pair of deep threats on my roster. Add a possession type TE and you're a good O-line away from a machine. I want to keep to defense guessing and making unwise decisions when covering the pass. You gotta be able to keep the chains AND the clock moving and Vick can provide some confidence busting 3rd down runs for your offense.
  3. Great post. I don't think anyone will reach 60 this year but there are only few in the league that can do it. Durant is one of them. He won't do it because I don't think he cares to. To score that many points in a game one has to be driven to reach the plateau, that doesn't happen by accident. Durant just isn't the guy to not want to involve others, particularly Jeff Green. Dwight Howard could do it, but he won't. He still has to start hitting at least 80% of his FT and he has to go into beast mode in the paint this year.
  4. I'd go w/ Zo! He was more likely to give ya 23 points and he was more versatile on the offensive. Can't measure their hearts, and don't know about their leadership on the court. We can't see what goes on in the locker room. Alonzo would be first pick.
  5. this... and this... If the coach is able to pull this off someone should be getting fired. You don't increase bence time for Granger. The guy can be a first option on 20% of the teams in this league.
  6. If the Hawks know well they'd better extend Horford's contract. He's a cornerstone for any franchise. They better do something to keep pace in the Southeast Division.
  7. I hear ya, bruh. I just saw it and I thought that it was one of the best 8 episodes I've seen thus far. Can you belive Drazen dropped 40+ on Jordan? That cat was tha truth
  8. That's no highlight film. I've seen that play for over 20 years as an NBA fan. The boards on the other hand (vs the Spurs) is noteworthy.
  9. Yup, yup! This is the makings of a good upset weekend. Ya just never know with Tressel an dem.
  10. Quentin Richardson isn't bitc##n and is taking his prescribed shots (attempts).
  11. Not quite the losers but they really didn't do much in the off season. I'm not panicking yet, maybe Van Gundy has something up his sleeves. But now, it looks like the Magic are a sure 4th seed in the 2011 postseason.
  12. I'm a Gator fan and for weeks leading up to the season I looked at this game as a possible upset. It is because of the poor performance last week vs. Miami why the Gators will not take USF lightly. The Bulls are going in with a chip on their shoulders. I'm sure, after all this is more than just a game...this will be an attempt to shift the FL high school recruiting battle just a little. It'll definately be a more competitive game, but the Bulls won't bust a move.
  13. Dude, tell me this aint better than his last two (Tronic & Sound of the City). If so I KNOW this one's got to be crazy!!!! I haven't heard this one yet, though. Tell me how it is compared to those other ones. A total tragedy that his production style goes overlooked and he's merely a ghost in today's hip hop genre. One of my favorite producers
  14. Yea, man....did you watch it with the surround system on blast? Not usually my type of movie, but between the silly humor from that black dude and all the eye candy (visual fx), it was pretty good. Loved the audio, though.
  15. You're right about that, but it was because of the 46 why today's offenses would beat it.... ...it made the offense evolve. Praises to the 46 Defense. Everything evolves...don't be surprised if the NFL starts adopting Meyer's Spread Offense...lol
  16. I think my Bills will win 6-8 games this year. New coach, new offense, a mess in the backfield, and some impatient fans not willing to wait on Trent Edwards.
  17. And I take it that Ryan Matthews will win Offensive Rookie of the Year, huh?
  18. Don't be so harsh. Kidd wasn't all that bad...lol. But answering the question I would say that Nash was much better in his prime. His tools and talent applied more to his position. Much quicker than Kidd. Outstanding concentration at the line...and he got there, too! The guy was never afraid of contact. A more deadly shooter from out side, and a slightly better vision for the court. Kidd, while bigger and stronger, always seemed to play with delicacy. Nash didn't care how small he was, if he had to penetrate, he would. Kidd isn't overrated though. You'd still take him with one of your first picks to start a franchise...in his prime, that is.
  19. IDK about Tim Duncan still being in the top 2. The Duncan love affair still lives on, I see.
  20. Yea, cuz...that blew me!!! At the time Jordan did that I just left the 8th grade. Little did I know at the time that his then-manager would later on manage a World Series champ. He did a good interview, though. Forget the Bo Sawks, tho....lol
  21. Yea, I just saw that. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be although it was good. I've seen better ones on 30 for 30...like the Raiders (the one Ice Cube directed) and that Buster Douglas one. But back to the Jordan one, you know what it was missing? I good Scottie Pippen interview. I wanted to know how Scottie felt after Jordan decided to retire and Pip had to take over. It had a lot of Phil Jackson dialogue, but it needed some Pippen. Jordan looked really odd standing in that batters box. So tall and lanky, swingin' all goofy like. 30 for 30 is probably one of ESPN's greatest creations in 20+ years!!!! I hope they keep it comin! Maybe do one on the greatest QB draft pick busts, or something along that line.
  22. So true, wasn't he overrated compared to the ones you mentioned in here? He was certainly the most influential, but by far the best lyricist.
  23. They're both would be martyrs, but miss I Bob Marley the most. His music was more versatile and POSITIVE. Both artists experienced the extremes and were statisics of their respective environments. Bob Marley made lemonade out of the lemons, though. Pac's music was always charged with anger like he was the only celebrity (or black man, for that matter) to get a raw deal. Don't get me wrong, I liked Tupac, but this isn't even close....I could do Marley music all day, every day.
  24. I'd rather listen to Pharrell, no question. Drake's flow is synonymous with Lil Wayne and all of his songs sound the same. I prefer a little more variety in my music than Drake. He's a flash in the pan rapper. Pharrell has the staying power.
