  1. [ You gotta be joking right? Now since this topic has been sensitive since 1978 i'm gonna follow exactly as the title of the post states. "Best Rapper" This means that i'm gonna throw out stage presence, performances, and everything else but the verbals. 10. Tech N9E 9. Twista 8. Jay Z (Had to include to keep people from cussin me out.) 7. Kool G. Rap (epitomy of gangsta) 6. KRS-One (Do you really need a comment here?) 5. Beanie Sigel (Don't dare sleep on the Broad St. Bully. Lyrical wit is heavily overlooked, plus agression is unmatched.) 4. Eminem (A student of flow and it shows.) 3. Nas (This guy is consistently parked in the top 5 due to the teachings that come out.) 2. Rakim (Tha Stick Up Kid) 1. Notorious B.I.G (To h*ll with album sales. He couldn't help his early demise. Name one rapper with a slicker delivery of words than this man. Clever, clever, clever! Sometimes I think it was best that his career ended early. Sean Combs would've had him going Pop into the 21st century.) Don't gimme no crap about 2Pac!!!!!
  2. Dude, hustle up with that...I can't wait to see it... Seriously, take your time with it. I look forward to what quality insight you have to share on it. Please...no Mel Kiper-isms.
  3. When it rains it pours, right. Not even a good six months following the triumphant Super Bowl win the Saints are in the news. Prior to that championship the last time I remember when the franchise was front page news was during the Ricky Williams mele. Now illegal drugs? Saints Drug Ring?
  4. These people won't rest until the NYC is broken down and buried. Just another one of the hundreds of reason why i'd never try to raise a family in that place. With ammo like that i'm sure that explosion would've cleared at least 85 innocent people. Can you imagine being the owner of the vehicle where the license plate was taken from?
  5. That rookie's got more to worry about than the rest of the NFC EAST. He better worry about pleasing the fans in Philadelphia. <_<
  6. Yo good to see Ken Griffey Jr. still has a following. Can't help but to respect that man. Surprised to see Aaron Rogers on your list too, man. Quiet as kept but a possible Hall of Famer.
  7. NFL LaDanian Tomlinson Tim Tebow Chad Ochocinco Troy Polamalu Aaron Rogers NBA Dwight Howard Shawn Marion Brandon Roy MLB Ryan Howard Carl Crawford Roy Halladay NHL Sid Crosby Vinny Lecavlier NASCAR errr...not a sport WNBA Sue Bird (cutie)
  8. Exactly, dude! At first glance I thought it was wig-less drag queen. Don't ask...
  9. Ok, i'm sick uh this. Anyone know when Gran Turismo 5 is supposed to hit the shelves? If the developers think too long they'll screw the game up! Lets go, guys!
  10. This young man must be really trying to destroy his knees EARLY. You think Phil's apply pressure that the media isn't disclosing?
  11. ...and rightfully so. Congrats to LB and his supporting cast. Coach Brown, on the other hand....umm he's gotta do something fast. This award only shoots up Lebron's stock even more. The big market's a callin'
  12. Dude, I don't think Lupe was ever really "underground" He hit the scene glossy. You may be boderline crazy. What gives you the notion that he sold out?
  13. :o Only four deaths? Thank goodness it wasn't worse! I wonder who's head is gonna roll in the transportation dept. for this.
  14. Dude, thats a hot track! And DEFINATELY an infectious hook. The producer, Boi 1da, has a decent resume, too! See Kardinal Offishall's last album (2008). He did like three beats on there. Now aside from his critics, who in the h#ll is Em referring to...or is this an indirect beef track? BTW... Regardless of what most people have been saying, Relapse really wasn't a bad album. The other night I saw an interview on Fuse w/ 50 Cent and he didn't speak too favorably of the album.
  15. Totally agree! Ironically, when he came outta Duke I didn't think he would be as good as he is. His style of play is infectious. Great hustle player to watch and it'll be a shame if he flees this off season...unless he ends up in south Florida....
  16. Don't you think Beasly would be a wasted draft pick if they let him go? He just got there. Bosh could be the one to help him develop and I'd love to see Bosh down south!!!!!! Riley is in panic mode and he should be. The rest of the Southeast division is not gonna wait on the Heat and I think Riley is aware of that. Micheal Jordan and his Bobcats won't wait and you see what the Hawks have been able to do. I do see Felton actually coming down to Miami, though.
  17. Finally someone asked this question! I voted for Leaf as being the bigger bust because the man couldn't keep his mouth shut. At least Russell is humble in his "bust-ness". Russell, while constantly overweight, can still bomb a football 80+ yards. He has way more physical tools than Leaf. On the NCAA level Russell at least has a much more impressive resume. I couldn't tell ya what Ryan Leaf accomplished on a team level at Washington. Yes, he had the individual passing accolades but what did he do out there in the PAC-10 up against weaker competition? Besides, don't you think Russell may need more time to develop? Or h*ll, development under the right regime? Maybe JaMarcus can use a dose of a hard a** like Parcells, Ryan(Jets), or Coughlin. The joys of being a number 1 draft pick. Leaf is the bigger bust!
  18. Honestly, I hope that the Jazz finishes off everyone in the West for the sake of Jerry Sloan. Maybe take it all for the sake of Salt Lake City! Those people are some of the best sports fans period. Kudos to the family oriented ownership for keeping Sloan around after all these years. In today's NBA, to have a pair of Hall of Famers(Stockton & Malone)and not bring home a championship that would be grounds for termination. Instead, Jerry Sloan has been able to hang around in Utah. The Jazz has always been a franchise I would have love to hate. Its just too hard. I think they are a good example of a blue collar team. They don't have the marquee and best talent, but year in and out they get it done in the regular season. An early congrats to Utah for eliminating the much more talented Nuggets. *knock on wood*
  19. *SMH* at the point guard play in Miami's playoff "run". So far on paper though, these guys look pretty good. Who should Miami bring in to help out Wade? New coach, maybe? More playoff experience? Its not like Wade has an untalented supporting cast. Just my opinion.
  20. Lebron would be prime MJ's sidekick. Of the three he(Lebron) is the only one that has an ego humbled enough to be a second option. Jordan would would've loved to have LBJ all around game over Scottie Pippen on his team!
  21. LOL, Dang, man! You say that like you know him. How do you know what Artest has the mental capacity to handle? After all, the man did grow up in Queensbridge, NY. I'd say on account of that, he has the mentals to handle a lot of seemingly complicated things. Besides was the media complaining about this during the season when Artest was helping the Lakers mash up the Pacific division. Its only now that OKC is gettin in their a**** its a promblem. If I were an owner he could lead my defensive squad any day.
  22. Dude, I know right? Notice how he didn't just hoist it up there, unlike most players in this league. Its one thing to toss a half court shot, totally another when you actually shoot a jumper from that kinda distance. Jordan, LB is comin for ya.
  23. Folk, it really depends on the NFL system you get into. Tim Tebow will have the best career if I have to vote. He's gonna surprise every last one of his critics. Watch.
  24. That Shane Battier mele at 2:35 was wicked! Love tha way he batted those shots in the paint. If I didn't know any better I'd think the Rockets made the postseason this year.
  25. Last week week there was a caller on WDAE-The Sports Animal (Tampa Bay) that recalled a visit to the old Veterans stadium during a Bucs game. Well in that game Ronde Barber picked off a McNabb pass to return it(and win the game). Eagles fans were so upset that one brave soul(a guy rockin' a Bucs jersey in Philly)felt their wrath. According to the caller the guy was at the game with his wife and daughter and on the way to the parking lot hubby had to use the Port-O-Let. While he was in there a group of Eagles fans toppled him over and rolled it a couple of times. Ironically, some other Eagles fans helped him out by rolling it OFF of the door side as hubby was trapped. As he made his way out, the man was covered in excrements of ALL sorts. Imagine the torment, as his wife and kid just stood there crying. Yo, I would've mad my way to the nearest car wash ASAP. True that this nonsense happens everywhere, but here in the TB area, the home fans just don't act like that. At Rays games its usually the the Red Sox, Yankee, and Phillies fans making trouble at the games. IDK, maybe its a large up north city thing!
