I don't want to be cocky but this series just showed why LBJ is just on another planet compared to anyone in the league right now. Durant is pretty much the consensus number 2 in the league right? Durant is a hell of a shooter, but that's where it stops with him and LBJ. LeBron is just so much better at every facet of the game its remarkable to see the difference. Durant will never be on his level IMO. Durant will never be a good defender, and I don't think he's tough enough or strong enough to become a good rebounder either. His frame is maxed out so yeah while there's room for him to improve, how much better is he really going to get? If Wade has that knee procedure and comes back strong I think we're the overwhelming favorites heading into next season. I think Mike Miller is going to retire which will be big in terms of getting that money to sign another solid wing or a big guy.

Its tough to judge baseball players individually with rings because there's so many other people they have to rely on. All time I'd probably say Barry Sanders or Karl Malone. Current athlete's I'd go with Vick, Durant, CP3

Yugo has a point though. This was the weakest series for LBJ in terms of perimeter shooting. His shot clearly wasn't falling and pretty much all his points came from inside the paint. Has his jumper been on...we might have swept and he could've averaged around 35 a game. I'll gladly take those stats though

There's a ton of respect between both teams. Ray Allen has apparently said he'd love to backup Wade and Dallas already has Terry coming off the bench. Not to mention we just won a ring so that has to make Miami the most attractive destination in the league for veterans. If we can get a healthy Wade/Haslem/Miller...that's scary. Wade has been playing at around 80% this year.

What player doesn't get help to win a ring though? In 09 Kobe didn't have a good game 7, he got a ton of help from his role players. LBJ was unbelievable all playoffs. He broke his own record of consecutive 25+ point games in the playoffs IIRC. His consistency is something that needs to be acknowledged. Also, shouts to our [expletive]ing crowd tonight. I know my row/section hardly sat all game. I have no voice right now and it was totally worth it. I'm seeing Breen and Van Gundy acknowledge the crowd but for all the shit we get..that place was [expletive]in live tonight.

Depends on who we add. Ray Allen is likely headed here (according to Broussard). I hope Wade skips out on the Olympics and has the same knee procedure that Kobe had. We need to add more size though. The ultimate catch would be KG but I doubt he takes the minimum to play here.

So happy for LeBron though, he deserved it and to finish off one of the GOAT post seasons ever with a triple double is just unreal. Lord willing this is the first of a few rings but LeBron is probably legit top 5-10 all time now and this probably solidifies Wade as the third best SG of all time. He was brilliant in his role this series. Real happy for Bosh too. For all the shit he gets about being "soft" and how he looks, he was the x-factor this seres with his rebounding against a bigger, more athletic and more physical front line.

Lmao Durant gets into foul trouble because he's a shit defender. That foul in game 3 was actually a foul, go and watch the replay. Westbrook isnt grttig that much contact, hes so quick that we havent been able to hit him at all when he's already in the air.

Hoping it ends tonight because I don't wanna go back to OKC at all. Best case I hope Durant and Westbrook try to play hero ball early and they break out of their gameplan. I think at best we win a game with a little less drama than game 4 had. There isn't going to be any blowout tonight. I think Haslem gives us a good game tonight.
