  1. If LSU beats Bama then yes, as lucky as they've been they would deserve it over those other teams because they'll have played the toughest schedule and gone through it with one loss. They still aren't as good as their record indicates though I'll stand by that statement. That win against UT and the win against UNC tell me enough about them.
  2. I don't see a one loss Big Ten team jumping those teams unfortunately. If there's one who will do it I think it'll be Wisky. I think LSU loses this week to Bama so they'll be out of the discussion. As long as we get Auburn/Bama vs. Oregon I'll be happy.
  3. An in shape Curry > Big Cat. It all depends on how willing hard Curry is to work though. If he is, this could be a big pickup for us.
  4. I haven't been touting the ACC all year because I know it sucks and I know Miami sucks. Ohio St. still has to play the big time game in their schedule against Iowa. If they win at Iowa then they're considered elite. I'm not sure how you can consider them Elite at this point because they certainly haven't looked the part. We have yet to see VT and Miami play each other. We'll see who ends up being the better team. Miami lost by 5 to a team who almost beat USC after J12 went down. We had a true freshman at QB almost bring us back. Pitt wasn't good. That's the whole point. They were an 8-3 team playing in a BCS game simply because their conference has an automatic bid. I said I'd give you the Boise game but if you go back and look at that OU team, they were overrated that season. Bama quit but I gave Utah credit for that win. I also think USC would've taken out UF or OU that season. They were the best team that season IMO.
  5. I just don't see how you can take any one of Utah, TCU or Boise over whichever one of Auburn, Oregon or Bama. A 1 loss SEC champion is more deserving than those teams. Dream scenario here is that Auburn and Oregon win out and then this won't be a problem. Then we can see which one of these teams is for real if they have to end up playing Bama, Nebraska or OU.
  6. That Pitt team also didn't play a ranked team all season IIRC.
  7. Oregon St. isn't in the top 25 anymore and VT is barely in there. I think they're at 22 right now. Miami and OSU have nothing to do with this debate so I don't know where you're bringing that out of unless its just to talk [expletive] to me about Miami. Pitt was 8-3 going into that game actually with losses to Nebraska, Syracuse and UCONN. Miami being bad or the ACC being bad doesn't mean that the Big East doesn't suck.
  8. Butler played 5 ranked teams in their OOC schedule last season. They're also the exception, not the rule when it comes to this scenario as well.
  9. You really used K-State as a quality win? Seriously? Utah in 05 beat a sorry Pitt team that went 8-4 that year and won the Big East because that conference is WOAT. Boise I'll give you but that OU was definitely overrated if you go back and look at their schedule that year they didn't have a very impressive resume. The 09 Utah team I guess but that Bama looked like they quit mentally from the get-go after they got beat by UF in the SEC title game. Boise/TCU game is a wash basically. I just think that you can't reward a team for playing a [expletive] schedule. Its not that teams won't schedule them, it that they won't schedule great OOC games. Oregon St. isn't a great OOC game.

  11. The same Baylor team who's best win is against Texas? Ok. Utah still got taken into OT by fricken Pittsburgh. TCU is actually the team I prefer out of all 3 but their schedule is still trash. Bama would rock them. Those teams won't face a team that physical all year.
  12. To be honest, if he does sign here its because he's ready to get in shape which is something our staff does very well. Just look at Q-Rich last year. Not to mention that he gives us more size up front and 6 more fouls to use on Shaq and Perkins. Makes sense IMO. He can't be more useless than Magloire.
  13. Would you take any of those guys over Randy Moss? Just sayin..
  14. Absolutely. When your best win is against Virginia Tech or Oregon St. you don't belong in the top 5. Utah's best win is at Pitt! At Pitt! Are you kidding me? A top 25 based playoff with the top overall team getting a first round bye would be my ideal solution. If it works out seeding wise.
  15. Not a fan. The best 8 is enough for me. Makes the entire season that much more competitive.
  16. Stoli Elite is one of my all time favorites. Just so damn expensive. Can't forget this either: http://www.licoresjaco.com/images/PATRON%20SILVER.jpg
  17. Utah doesn't even belong in the top 10. Bama should absolutely vault back to 1 or 2 if they do indeed win the SEC. They'd absolutely crush Boise or TCU.
  18. Auburn should be number 1. I can't see how they aren't given that they've played the toughest schedule thus far of any undefeated team.
  19. I don't see him getting past San Diego on waivers.
  20. They don't sell 40's in Florida...Damn shame.
  21. If Ted Thompson were any good he'd pick him up right now.
  22. Yea I had one guy in my chem class with a Gucci satchel.
