The Lakers are a veteran team with the best player in the NBA though unlike Sacramento so that explains why they are where they are. Tyreke Evans is one of 4 guys to average 20/5/5 as a rookie. The others are Jordan, The Big O and LeBron. He's more than a "nice" player. He's a special talent I don't know how you can deny that. Thompson came in very raw and improved in his second year even if it was a small improvement. I think there's a lot of potential there with him. Cousins is going to be great I have no doubt. He's a dominant rebounder and is averaging 16 and 9 so far this pre-season. Why is Washington so low? Because of Arenas? Have you seen Wall play yet? You know what you're getting with the top teams though. That's why these young, up and coming teams are exciting to watch because we don't know how good they're going to become.

Thompson has a real high ceiling and can only go up IMO. He's a career 11 and 8 guy who will benefit from both Evans and Cousins being there. I think you're selling Cousins short as well. He's as talented as any big man that's been drafted recently.

Its not, but there's a lot of young talent on the Kings. I don't see a lack of talent there right now to be hoenst. It just has to be developed. Washington needs to be higher as well. Wall is going to be one of the most exciting players all season and it'll be interesting to see if Blatche builds on last year and the development of McGee.

Have you watched us play up until today? Jackson and Kuhn are not very good and Jackson is a third down back and should stay a third down back. Ted Thompson is our GM btw...

I also think the blame needs to get up to Ted Thompson as well. For 5 weeks in a row now we've had a non-existent running game. Rather than trade for Marshawn Lynch who was more than available we chose to keep it in house and use Jackson which has backfired completely on us. Teams aren't trying to stop the run because they know we can't run regardless so everything is game planning for Rodgers. Injuries are killing us more than anything though. Its getting ridiculous at this point.

Taxes aren't bad because they're a necessary part of life in America. However, I think its ridiculous to increase taxes on those who are making over 250K a year when the majority of that bracket are small business owners who create tons of jobs. Taxing them more limits their revenue which in turn limits the amount of people they can employ. We also have a ton of people who don't pay taxes here either which just adds to the animosity people have towards higher taxes. What are you guys' thoughts on a flat tax? I've heard that idea floating around several times before but I never really looked into its benefits.
