I should've re-stated the OP. I don't know maybe its just me and obviously there's more to talk about than just sports. I dunno I guess with me and my friends we talk about sports constantly and/or music so its different when talking to other people who don't watch sports.

Do you guys have any friends or know anyone who just doesn't follow sports at all? I always found it hard to communicate with people like that in HS because there was never really much to talk about unless we were at a party getting faded or something. Anyone have that same problem?

My point is that you can do both. We have a leash on these players and they aren't able to have fun out there and be themselves. Randy played in the golden age of Miami football and used to dance & celebrate on the field so I think this comes from the administration. Anyways, decent win against Duke today but our offense still looks average. Whipple is getting so predictable and refuses to use the run to set up the pass. The defense looked great though. Caused a ton of turnovers but we only scored 28 points which is the disappointing part.

As someone who's seen Henne and the Dolphins, they just aren't as good as a lot of people think. The lack of overall talent on that team is astounding on both sides of the ball. The fact that Jason Allen starts for them says everything. Henne is good for about 1 bounced pass per drive too. He's got no touch and they need a legit number 2. Bess is best used as a third down guy(which they do a very good job of) and in the slot.

His point is valid though. When we talk about Pearl Harbour we don't say Japanese "extremists" or German "extremists" when talking about the Nazi's and WW2. I understand its not the politically correct way to put it but I think by now people realize who it was and can separate the 2 even if someone just says Muslims. I don't think people are that dumb.

What a win. I thought we were done after it got to 5-0 to be honest. I came real close to turning it off and just going out. With them being at home I just didn't see us rallying the way we did to come back like that. Says a lot about this team though and how we're able to fight through anything. What they should've done is just introduce some of the pro-combat elements (the shoulder stiching, helmets, undershirts) into the current uniforms and not go overboard like they did with these. Hopefully the Pack gets a cool looking jersey though.
