My list goes: 1. Denard Robinson - the most explosive player in college football. He's been the biggest story of the year and has dominated every opponent he's faced thus far. 2. Patrick Peterson - He's the best corner I've seen in a while. I know the kid from Nebraska is good, but he's nowhere near PJ as a player IMO. PJ does it all and is the best collegiate corner since Woodson. 3. Mark Ingram - The best RB in the nation and his stock is rising fast. He looks as good as ever IMO and what sets him apart from everyone else is his vision. 4. Terrelle Pryor - Can't deny how well he's played so far. Throwing the ball better and playing efficient football on the #2 team in the nation. 5. Daniel Thomas - He's the best back you've never heard of. He leads all RB's in rushing and has 6 touchdowns on the year.

Figured this would be a cool idea to have a weekly list I'll update as the season goes on. At this point through week 4 I think we've seen that there's a group of guys who have really set themselves apart from everyone else at this point. Vote for your top 5 candidates and that's how we'll determine the order by who gets the most votes. Each week the list will be updated, and you again will be able to give a vote to five different players. As the season comes to an end, and the Heisman Race narrows, we'll vote for the top three candidates.

I agreed with you on just about everything until I got here. C'mon dude, let's be serious here. No one on this site is predicting that type of stuff. This thread actually turned into a great discussion so idk what's the problem there. And the Heat didn't even lead Sportscenter, Melo did so that tells you all you need to know but do you not expect them to talk about them considering all the hype they've built up for them?

At some point everyone just has to move on. We can't help that the media is constantly talking about the Heat but then again, when's the last time 2 or the top 3 players in the NBA played together? Its ESPN doing what they always do. If you can show me where I said those things then that's fine. Do I think we can win a title, yes I do. Not once did I say we'll beat the Bulls' record. Can we? Possibly but at this point its too soon to tell. Most of the talk comes because every other day there's a new thread on LBJ or about which team will beat the Bulls' record and things like that. Not once have any of us gone over to another teams forum to talk smack to another fanbase. It happens when they come at us with some crap about LBJ or whatever else they wanna come at us with. You can't expect us not to defend our guys. I agree the media coverage is overwhelming and I see what you're saying, but at the same time you can't fault them for taking full advantage of this because how many times has this ever happened? I wouldn't expect anything less. You guys are the defending champs and are the top dogs right now. I can't wait to see us play against each other because they'll be great games every time we play.

They weren't. GB beat themselves. It wasn't a result of anything the Bears did. Stupid personal fouls, dropped INT's and dump PI's weren't a result of the Bears gameplan.

Except it didn't happen so there's no point in debating that. Its been what? 3 months now? Its time to move on. If you haven't realized how ESPN does things by now then idk what to say. I didn't even look at that thread but we don't even know who's better yet. As of right now its Kobe/Shaq by default because we haven't played a game yet. Take up the issues about "The Decision" with Mav. It was his idea. Again, this is arguably the biggest superstar since MJ and with the media today you had to believe something like that was going to happen. The parade was over the top, even Riley admitted that. But you know the Knicks would've done something similar had they gotten the big 3 as well. They were already media kings(well LBJ and Wade were). This just made it bigger. [expletive], I'm tired of it already. There's not one Heat fan here who's been over the top about anything and I'm pretty sure we just wanna start the season. However, to think that a fan base wouldn't be excited about pulling the GOAT offseason in NBA history is ridiculous. I'm sure had LA done it you guys would be loving every second of it.

Brandon Marshall definitely jumped into the convo after last night. That was ridiculous.

At the end of the day, GB is still better than the Bears and its not even close. Cutler SUCKS. He didn't win this game for the Bears, Devin Hester and the Packer's lack of discipline did. Peppers had a nice game you can't deny that, but he still didn't sack Rodgers and Rodgers had a tremendous game. So yeah he got into the backfield, but he didn't get to Rodgers nor did he effect his play.

Good call on it.

Not to mention that elbow injury was very real. Both LBJ and Riley have been on record saying he just recently got over it.

Peppers had a nice block. Good job dude, but he still didn't sack Rodgers all night. Matthews got held at least 10 different times tonight..and even then he was a force on defense and instead of serving crow, you might wanna worry about your own teams issues at this point.

Oh, and anyone who thinks Jay Cutler is a top QB in this league is retarded...he's horrible.

We're by far the best team in this division but we're also the most undisciplined. This loss better open their eyes though and light a fire under them because this team is good enough to win it all. Rodgers played a near perfect game tonight. The officiating was WOAT. Seriously how many times was Matthews held? If we have Al and Atari Cutler doesn't complete 15 passes all night..
