Is this the type of draft that shows why the college rule works? Can you imagine if this class hadn't gone to school? Guys like Austin Rivers would've gone top 5 but since they got that year in college teams have a better idea of who's going to be the better players, etc. from this draft.

Yeah I think Beal has overtaken that 2nd spot. I love MKG as a prospect and I can see any team taking him at 2 but Beal is the better player.

Tough game but Boston couldn't miss out there. Sasha Pavlovic had 2 threes and no matter how covered he was even Brandon Bass hit shots. Rondo hit jumpers it was just one of those nights. Still though as bad as we played in the first half we made a game of it. Wade was brutal in the 2nd half though. We NEED that win in Chicago on Thursday. Thanks to those who actually talked about basketball in this thread as well.

Interesting. Lillard is a definite lotto pick but Marshall is my man crush of this draft lol. I think the sky is the limit for him as a pro. He's got so many great qualities and his offensive game is much improved than where it was last season.

Wade's only playing on one side of the floor it seems. His offense has been nothing short of brilliant though.

Cody Zeller and Christian Watford staying at IU. I think they have a shot to win it all next year. They should be a pre-season top 5 team.

Boy Ozzie Guillen is in some serious shit down here with those Castro comments. I'm the first guy who hates communism and think Guillen was wrong but I'm not offended in the least nor am I annoyed by it. Everyone knows he's an idiot but he's a hell of a manager and the Marlins/Miami community knew what they were getting when they hired him. Politics and sports are 2 things I've learned not to mix with one another and I hope more members of my community do the same.

Its because once people get over the poor decision to go on TV, you realize he's probably not a bad guy at all. He actually seems like one of the nicer guys in the L. I know last season was a HUGE wakeup call for him. He matured a ton over the course of last season and the finals loss really humbled him. He's really impressed me with how he's handled himself this season. Much more than Wade actually. To be completely honest, I think way too much of Shaq rubbed off on Wade while they played together. Wade is a genuinely nice guy like Shaq is, but they have a lot of the same bad qualities.
