  1. I hope Philly doesn't jump the gun and give this kid a Rob Johnson type deal.
  2. I'm gonna take baby [expletive] green in a landslide.
  3. That's the exact same way I feel about Spoelstra except I wish the Heat would go out and get Byron Scott.
  4. I'm gonna say it now. Jason Heyward is Ken Griffey Jr 2.0. Holy [expletive] this kid is a beast!
  5. What would you guys want in return for that pick?
  6. Well he's a shot blocker who makes his name on help defense so he's gonna get defensive 3 second calls just like Zo used to get. His defense reminds me a lot of Zo especially the way he blocks shots and keeps them in bounds so Wade or another guard can make a play on it and create a fast break opportunity. Jermaine does that very well also.
  7. Whiteside is a major project. Something like 2-3 years before you see significant impact. I had you guys taking Ed Davis in my mock because really, he was the best player available in that spot. Wesley Johnson and Aminu are good fits as well. Would you cry if they took Motiejunas? /wait for it...
  8. Yep. His only flaw is really his rock hands. He can't catch a bounce pass is his life depended on it lol.
  9. I agree with B. I'm not sure how Duke managed to get that abortion of a bracket. By far the easiest road I've ever seen to a title game without question. If only MSU has Lucas, they'd run away with it IMO.
  10. I would trade your pick if it isn't in the top 5. Reaching for Xavier Henry or James Anderson at 7(where you stand to draft right now) would be horrid when you can trade with a team like Minnesota or Miami who have multiple picks.
  11. He's a great defender and I'm really impressed with his finishing ability as of late. Last season he could finish anything unless it was a dunk. He's been a huge asset for us off the bench this season.
  12. Exactly. Like I said, wait a year or 2 and you'll see his true impact. Sublime had a very good analysis of his game above. He's gonna show more and more flashes of what he can become but for now he's a role player who's only going to continue developing.
  13. Did we not establish this during the World Series last year? I'm starting to think you have an awkward obsession with me...
  14. Smart. Tons of people, especially Gator fans will be lining up to buy his crap.
  15. In the media? He won't. He seems like he's a classy guy who knows that this is a business. If it were me I'd be ripping them non-stop after being the only worthwhile thing there on offense for the last decade not names Brian Westbrook.
  16. My mentality is that you go with the best player at 1 and that is John Wall. There's no reason not to take him. I know Harris put up very good numbers but Wall has a chance to be one of the best PG's in the league. There's no reason they can't trade Harris and get some value back for him. I'm very confident in Anderon's ability which is why I have him so high. He was one of the most underrated players in all of CBB this year. IMO he's got a chance to be better than Thornton and produce just as much, if not more than him. IMO Anderson is a better shot creator than Thornton but we'll just agree to disagree. However, whether or not he has a similar game to Thornton, he still gives NO another scorer at one of the guard spots and they need that if you ask me.
  17. I wish that thread was still open. With UCONN's success that debate is becoming a lot more popular around the country. If it were able to be a stable debate I think it would be a good one.
  18. Best game I played since GTA IV. I was interested the entire way through and couldn't stop playing it. The story is incredible and I definitely recommend it to anyone.
  19. The Nets drafting Wall opens up the possibility for them to trade Harris and get something in return. Harris is a good player but Wall is a no brainer at 1 IMO. The Philly pick was a best player available IMO because I don't think they'd reach for Xavier Henry at 7. Like I said, they'd be better off trading with a team who has multiple first rounders like Miami or Minnesota. James Anderson is the most underrated swingman in the draft IMO. He's 6'6 as opposed to Thornton being 6'3. Not sure how he'd be an Anderson clone. Anderson can create his own shot off the dribble as well. He's a more versatile player than Thornton IMO. Anderson can make an impact right away in the starting lineup wheras I don't think Thornton will ever crack the starting lineup. As for Motiejunas, I think Memphis is a good situation. He's not gonna be a starter right away wherever he goes so coming off the bench for a year won't be a bad thing for him. I forgot they had Randolph and this is only the first mock. I plan on making more once the lottery and pre-draft camps are over. I do think he slips though because of the questions about his defense and like Dash said, whether or not he's even going to come over or not.
  20. I'm going off of scouting reports that I've read. When talking about a player you've never seen play that's usually what you go off.
  21. The Skins can now draft Russell Okung and solidify the LT spot. They're looking at a playoff contender IMO. Great move by Washington.
  22. Both pitchers look solid in their first innings. POSADA!!!
  23. LMAO inside the division? Horrendous. WOAT front office if true.
