Looks like nothing is going to happen and I'm completely ok with that. The team is on a 4 game winning streak and tonight they proved that they could win without for basically a whole game which is a good sign as well. If we get Amare, great. If not then if we really want him we'll sign him this summer.

I have no idea how Phoenix is even considering that crap offer Cleveland threw at them. Big Z and Hickson? They'd only keep Hickson and they'd get what would most likely be the last pick of the first round. Q has already produced in that system and Dorell and Cook would definitely benefit from it. You aren't getting Beasley btw. He was never on the table to begin with.

This deal is worthless to me if we give up both first rounders. We need young guys here who can play!

Cousins is incredible. He's closing the gap on Wall fast. He's a dominant offensive rebounder and has a really nice offensive game.

Meh. He's easily the best help defender amongst guards in the NBA but his 1 on 1 defense is so-so. Giving up all of our 3's minus Jones is a risky move IMO. That trade would put us under the luxury tax though which Is why I think it might get done.

Not to mention we'd be horrible defensively at just about every position. Wright might be our best defender.

Trading Wright SUCKS. He's been so good this year and plays so well with Wade. Plus it said pickS. I wouldn't give up more than one first rounder if we're trading Wright as well.

We have ours and your first round pick to offer. We have guys like Wright and Cook who IMO would flourish in that Phoenix system with their talents. We also have the biggest expiring in the whole league in O'Neal. I can tell you that I'm almost certain that Beasley aint going anywhere. Moving Jermaine's expiring to Charlotte could have been discussed too I'm sure.

Word is Amare has said he'd pick up his option for next year if Beasley does in fact stay in Miami.

Why not sign one superstar and then load up on 2nd/3rd tier guys after? Build a solid team that has depth unlike the current roster.

In the paper today Wade said he's rested and feels really good so hopefully we can go up there and get this W even with all the talk about potential trades happening.

That would be horrific beyond belief. I think Beasley is off the table FWIW. After seeing that hideous offer from Cleveland get Phoenix's attention I think we can throw some really nice exprings at them plus a first rounder that would be better than Clevelands.
