That is what they need but on field production needs to be consistent in order for that to happen. I think the Big East is a good fit for them. I think the Big 12 would be a stretch. If Memphis can put together 2 6-7 win season then I definitely see them moving to a bigger conference. As far as recruiting, they'll have a ton of competition from other school in the Memphis area. UT, Texas, LSU, WVU and especially Miami all recruit the Memphis area effectively. Like I said earlier, it all comes down to on field production for a program like Memphis. I'd give Trooper Taylor a look as well. Eddie Gran, Trooper Taylor or maybe even Phil Fulmer.

Can you really blame Xavier for leaving though? Those guys wanted to play for Callipari and when he left they went with him minus Xavier who went to the same school as just about everyone else in his family. I'd be more pissed with Wall and Cousins to be honest and its not like Memphis came out with nothing. Elliot Williams is a star in the making.

Wade needs to get out of this slump because it really effects the whole team when he isn't on his game. Also, Beasley scored 21 but I didn't feel like those 21 made a big impact in the game. They were a quiet 21. Q Rich went down and Haslem was out tonight so that didn't help our cause. Yet again Dorrell gets the short end of the playing time stick. The Hawks are a team where he could make a difference against because of his length and athleticism. The team is struggling but I think Wade will get back to normal soon enough.
