Well BK comes from a private school in Ft. Lauderdale and his family really likes the private schools because of the smaller classes and that whole deal. Miami is a private school but UF is a terrific academic institution and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he ended up there. Not to mention his boy Kenny Boynton is at UF but I think Kenny is a one and done guy. I wouldn't count out UK either. In the end I think BK's strong relationship with Haith and the chance to be the face of his hometown team win out in the end. Unlike John Wall I think Brandon chooses UM over UK in the end.

Atlanta won in game 7 against an injured Miami team so the teams were obviously very closely matched. We have the same exact record right now so who's to say they're better when we haven't played each other yet.

In regards to Knight, everything I've heard in regards to him leads me to believe the only way he leaves the state would be UCONN. Miami and UF are his top two and I think Miami leads.

Obivously ATL was better than the Heat but the Heat are better than they were last year. We'll see when we play each other soon enough. And big deal, Cleveland barely ever lost at home last year and Boston made them look stupid opening night, I guess we should crown them now for that. Like I said before, its one game.

Harrison Barnes to UNC

D-Wright got a raw deal sometimes under Riley IMO. Even when he was healthy at times he never got minutes he deserved. I think Spo likes him a lot though and trusts him a lot more than Riles ever did. Anyone who thought this guy was going to be the next T-Mac definitely had much too high expectations for him.

It's so early in the season that its tough to decide at this point. I think I'll make my judgment after our first 20 games. As of right now, no.

Why? His other options are trash right now. New Jersey can't even win a game and people are playing that roster up like they're one guy away and we all know how horrific the Knicks are. If he wants to leave and have the best shot at winning Miami would make the most sense. He'd just have to make the sacrifice of sharing #1 duties with Dwyane. Chris Broussard made a great point in his article yesterday about LeBron and the possibility of him coming to Miami.

Strong is a lot like Randy Shannon is that he was a tremendous DC and arguably the top recruiter in the south. He needs time if he goes to UVA though. That program is a mess with Al Groh running it.

If UVA is smart they'll give that job to Strong. If he can be a good gameday coach that school will become a powerhouse because the man is a monster recruiter. Great location for recruiting and a tremendous education would get a lot of parents on his side.
