Is VC playing? Pick and roll time for Dwight and Vince/Jameer. If I were SVG I'd call it every time down the floor lol.

I hate to say it..but if Cleveland isn't in the Finals this year, LeBron is gone and why would Wade leave a big market city in a prime location like Miami to go play with an old Shaq and Mr. Playoff Disappearing Act himself? The bring in 2 stars thing will never happen. You think in today's economy these guys are going to let 50-60 million dollars get away? I think not.

Saying he could do better is attacking him? Oh jeez... Wade's ex-wife was as ugly as it gets. He's moved on to better things in Gabrielle Union. Maybe Gil should do the same?? -
Definitely a Photoshop lol.

Agreed. I'm not getting my hopes up at all here. I think Bosh is the more realistic option here but we'll just wait and see. I wouldn't put anything past Riles.
-
I'd say the Nets and Heat. The Nets have enough money to bring in a superstar and another quality guy even with a drop in the cap. In regards to LeBron, Marc Stein pointed out that while they have some nice young pieces, location could be a big issue because they are going to play in Newark for a least another 2 years. Miami has Dwyane Wade, South Beach and Pat Riley working in their favor as Stein said. I think NJ and Miami will split Bosh and James to be honest. I suggest checking out the article Stein wrote here: Article

Not possible. They would have to take shorter deals with an opt out clause which would end up in them losing out on a potential 50-60 million dollars. Not happening. I'll be happy with either one honestly because either one turns us into a legit contender especially in the East.

Since when if the NBA 3-point champ considered a 12th man? Cook, Dorrell, Haslem, James Jones and even Joel would be more than a 12th man on the Raptors. This team filled with 12th men and rookie around one player was good enough to be the 5th seed in the playoffs last year while the Raptors were sitting at home with their star thinking if he even wanted to stay there. So don't come here and start talking smack about our team having no talent and being a bunch of scrubs when your squad can't even make the playoffs. Our "core" is obviously doing something right when they're making the playoffs. Like Poe said, Beasley's minutes depend on his defense. Spo doesn't mess around with Beasley and much like Riley would do he'll sit him if he isn't playing defense. In a year like 2010 with all the potential free agents, yes, a contender can be built easily. Our long term plans include Wade, another superstar, Beasley, Chalmers, Cook and hopefully Udonis, Dorrell and Joel Anthony. Wade lobbied for Q to come to Miami because they are best friends. Wade, Dorrell and Q are all extremely close. Jermaine O'Neal is playing exceptional right now so I don't think Wade is being "forced" to play with anyone. One player doesn't make an entire roster. It takes a team with good chemistry, a good foundation and consistency to win which is what the Heat has right now and will only improve after free agency this summer. Riley did the right thing. Are you really going to question Pat Riley as a GM? I think his resume speaks for itself. Why waste your money on two overrated players in Boozer and Stoudemire when in 2010 you can land either Bosh or LeBron and keep Wade.
-
Lol @ our roster being "a mess."
-
The Nets aren't as deep as Miami is though and they lack another superstar player. The salary would be the same so why not go to Miami and play with one of your best friends and have the chance to win multiple titles.
-
Agreed 100%. However, I think Miami gives Bron the best chance to win. The Nets, Cavs and Knicks dont have the young talent and another superstar that could deliver LeBron that title like Miami does. If he wants miney then he's better off staying in Cleveland.
-
Article Damn...I expect Gilbert to drop 60 next time these teams play. Shaq is a douche btw.
-
I see exactly what you're saying but I think we'll re-sign Jermaine regardless of who we bring in. Add Wade & Bron to Chalmers and Beasley and then Cook, Haslem, Wright, Q and most likely Joel coming off the bench and I like our chances at a title. I think Jermaine is enough of a threat down low to go along with what would easily be the best perimeter duo in the league.

Patriots.
-
Miami Herald That would be disgusting and I feel like there's a chance just not a big one unfortunately.
-
I don't think we ever led the Bulls by double digits. I may be wrong though because that was a very close game.
-
He could have gotten seriously injured...
-
Very funny but I'll take Entourage over it any day.
-
I agree we need to play a full 48 minutes in order to win a lot of games this year. I think Cleveland is very beatable and if we keep playing with the same intensity on defense I think this team can make a lot of noise.
-
You have to take the injuries into account though plus Shaq's constant [expletive]ing. Wade hurt his shoulder and his knee which was the primary reason we ended up in the lottery. Cleveland was always good even when we won our title and I posted those teams as people we have to compete with this year just like Melo has to go through Kobe.
-
I'd take Wade because of his all around game. Melo is clearly the best scorer in the game right now without question IMO. However, Wade is a much better defender, scores almost as much as Melo and is a much better playmaker on both sides of the ball. Also, Wade has to contend with these guys... http://www.tvworthwatching.com/blog/nba%20lebron%20james%20dunk.jpg http://melancholiac.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/big3.jpg oops..almost forgot these 2 http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9vS6tdIJtnM/SkPa-XOzBkI/AAAAAAAAADU/qw4oQZUw4aE/s320/Vince+Carter+Dwight+Howard.jpg

The Heat have always been a good defensive team. That's the one thing that Riley really stressed here as does Spo.
-
Chris Bosh is beastly. I really want him in Miami next year.
