  1. Im assuming we actually take them seriously and play with some heart this time. We have been looking for a statement game to the rest of the NBA, wins against Dallas and Orlando dont quite do that. We were in a similar situation last year going into Boston looking for a huge win, this game is quite similar to that. I think wel play hard and end up with the win, we are the best team in the league from top to bottom its just a matter of effort.
  2. Ha, yeah right. And as Kobes manager I forbid him from playing in the dunk contest with a broken finger and a sore back.
  3. Funny how everyone was so scared today now its all sunny outside lol.
  4. Laker fans are the only fans of the last decade that saw their team have major success and then suck for a few years while their fans STILL supported them and sold out home games. Say what you want about bandwagoners but the REAL Laker fans are the most loyal fans in the NBA. We dont chant MVP for the other teams players, we dont have games where half the attendance is cheering for the opponent, and we dont have games where half the arena is empty. Win or lose Laker fans are always there, and thats not something you can say for many, if any fanbases in the NBA.
  5. The bench is now one of our strengths, instead of our weakness. They have been playing out of this world lately.
  6. You have every right to be confident, the Cavs definitely look like the best team in the EAST right now. But I wouldnt exactly be hoping for a "repeat of last year" lol.
  7. Just what the topic says people. Lets see some lists
  8. Shannon should be great for the league since hes a Laker. If he gets into the fan voting round, its over lol.
  9. True but we didnt really need to make a deal cause we were the number 1 seed with Bynum emerging, only because he got injured we swung a major deal. Also KB was locked up long term, this is the Cavs last chance to please Lebron.
  10. I believe him. He really doesnt care about his stats, which is why you saw him play one half basically as a decoy in those Texas road games. Unlike that other guy in Cleveland who ONLY cares about his stats.
  11. Aha I get league pass year round for free anyways on my ipod touch.
  12. Yeah I dont see this game being a tough one for us. If we lose though, how embarrassing. Everyone on the roster is able to play though, so no excuses, we should dominate this game too.
  13. Okay okay good point, I didnt pay attention to the standings. But 17 and 7 compared to 19 and 10? West is an atrocious rebounder for a Power Forward.
  14. Boozer by a MILE. You guys seriously think West is consistent? Hes averaging 17 and 7 and has games where he scores 30-40 and then has a few more where he has like 10. Meanwhile Boozer is averaging 19 and 10 and has been very consistent this season, plus hes playing with intensity and helping his team secure a playoff spot, West is playing for an irrelevant team. All statistics aside Boozer is the much more physical player and you would feel more comfortable with him on your team rather then West.
  15. The jets have the most dominant defense of all time.
  16. 300 passing yards today for Phillip Rivers. Revis is going to get abused today. :glasses:
  17. Wow what if Favre goes back to the super bowl. That would be exciting.
  18. Cavs are pretty much interested in everybody, shows how desperate they are to keep Lebron. I dont see them getting Jamison as the Wizards will not deal with them. Troy Murphy is also an eastern conference player and I doubt the Pacers would deal him to make the Cavs better. David West might be their most realistic option. Im sure a western conference team out of the playoffs wouldnt mind dealing with the Cavs, but the Hornets dont appear to want to move West at the moment.
  19. Nope not happenin. No way we trade a 21 year old all star caliber center. 7 feet back to the basket centers with a great post game dont grow on trees.
  20. Brown lacks the skills to be a pg in the triangle? He can defend, he can shoot, drive, slash, dunk, finish at the rim. He should be the next starting pg for the lakers.
  21. Good, no need to mess with anything. We have the best team in the league right now and have a window for multiple championships. And can have a long dynasty with Bynum developing.
  22. Is it just me or wow. Those look so ugly its not even funny.
