This game was a scary one! The kings announcers are such homers, they thought they should have gotten gasol push off in he tip and another on bynum later in the game, completely ignoring how obvious they were flopping. The arena was goon nuts when they were up 7, it's funny seein away teams get so excited with the beat la signs and stuff but then they still lose . Game should have ended way earlier, especially if pau sinks free throws, oh well we got the win and stay atop the standings.

Lil Nate Robinson sounds good right about now. He can score and shoot!!! He doesnt play D so hel fit right in, but at least he can do something with a basketball.

The bench is flat out pathetic. Everyone all the way to Odom was pathetic tonight. It killed me watching Farmar, Sasha, even Shannon, throw up brick after brick. They were what Phil was talking about no ball movement, they just chucked garbage shots and missed them then the Cavs started to pull away. It gave the starters no room for error. Chances are we wont trade for anyone, even if we do, the stupid triangle limits anyone from coming here and just jumping right into action, according to Phil it takes time to learn it. Pretty much screwed with the bench, luckily come playoff time it doesnt usually matter, but were not a very deep team.

Worst Laker game ive ever seen. Ironically Kobes the one that ends up with the stats and near triple double, and Lebron paces himself and gets a win. But Kobe threw up brick after brick tonight, pathetic performance. If the Cavs can use this excuse, so can we. We didnt play "Lakers basketball." And one more thing, I will never hear "Lebron doesnt have other options" EVER again.

I dont see Lebron having a good game, he will have Artest guarding him most of the game, Lebron really struggled vs Houston last year. He also shot an abysmal FG % against the Lakers last year, mainly because of Kobe. Look for Kobe and Artest to keep Lebron in check. Plus we have some 7 foot help waiting for him if he gets past a defender. Nobody to check Kobe on the other end, he probably goes hungry for 30 or even a 40 point game just to prove his superiority. Cavs and their fans probably come back down to earth after this game in terms of reality. I think it will be a huge beat down.

Kobe is right, the Cavs arent a rivalry for us. We beat them pretty easily both games last year, while Kobe completely owned Lebron statistically. The Cavs cant really rival us cause they cant keep up with us and are a pretty irrelevant franchise for the most part. Celtics are the only rivalry for the Lakers, I wish we would have matched up with them on Christmas, the 2 best teams would have been going at it. But then again, the Celtics arent healthy right now, so the Cavs will be a nice appetizer. Also lol @ Cavs - Lakers a potential Finals Matchup, good joke.

Kobe. Already has 4 rings, clearly most talented player in franchise history, 81, 35 ppg, best defender in Lakers history, most clutch player (of all time arguably). People can sugar coat it and say MJ or Kareem, which is fine, but none of them can touch Kobe imo. His only weakness is his 1 Finals MVP, but he will have at least 3 when its all said and done.

Lakers lost Pau. Cavs lost Shaq. (although this one doesnt really matter ) Magic lost Jameer. Celtics will have to tough it out and win a lot of games without PP, their behind in the home court race as it is.

Watching this game on league pass ipod touch. Pacers are competitive, up 43-38. Surprising start so far, but the Celtics are pretty slow if the Pacers can speed the game up they might win.

Im pretty sure LA beat them twice as well, holding them under at 102 and 88 both times. You dont see us raving about how impressive that is. You take regular season games too seriously, beating a team that someone else lost to means nothing. Cavs lost in Houston, Lakers won there. Cavs lost to Memphis, Lakers beat them. Omg! I see your point, he could definitely improve his defense with a little more effort if he played on a team that could actually win and needed him to play defense. As of right now though, hes just an irrelevant player that gets his numbers and calls it a night.

Tough game for the Cavs. Back to back, off a loss, they will probably be tired against a running team. Expect the Suns to win, but who knows. Amare and Nash will have a huge night most likely.
