I think he is I mean he is leading the league in scoring as well as playing defense and getting about 2-3 steals per game, with some good rebounds and assist numbers. Not to mention hes shooting close to 50 %, an area which people liked to criticize about him in years past. And hes kept the team on top despite the injuries, hes been playing great so far.

In like 5 minutes. Probably youtube it later.

Breaking news: Allen Iverson retires
kingfish replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
Uhmm excuse me? Allen Iverson will not be a hall of famer. At least he shouldnt be. -
Have you ever watched a Lakers game? The Nuggets had that same philosophy last year in the Western Conference Finals, and Pau completely abused them. If you dont think Pau commands a double team in the post I dont know what to tell you.
-
Based on what youve seen so far, which 8 teams do you think will make the playoffs? West : Lakers Nuggets Mavericks Spurs Suns Blazers Jazz Thunder East : Magic Celtics Hawks Cavs Heat Bulls Bucks Raptors
-
Idk I think I gotta go with Duncan, cause his fundamentals are so good. But Pau is a close 2nd if not first, hes a dominant post player and commands a double team.
-
SMH, Gil zero. Sigh, dont wanna get in trouble but that was really stupid what he did.
-
Idk I say about 18 ppg when he reaches 31 or 32. He just doesnt have the unstoppable jumper, mid range game, or foot work to still be dominant past 30. I could see him getting 20 ppg or so using whats left of his athleticism and decent mid range game. But by the time hes past 30 he cant rely just on his athleticism anymore, and I have a feeling if he does he will be done by 35.

Brand dominant again in Cleveland

Cuz he got injured, again. -
Read this in a fantasy update for Nene's game against the Nets. Uhh, I guess thats a little accurate right?

OMG Kobe just like split a triple team and scored on the baseline. Incredible.
-
Please say Phil or I will be sad. But I know Larry Brown is good, only other guy I could think of is maybe Doc Rivers? Or Rick Adelman.
-
Id say Artest but for defensive purposes. He really needs to shut down or contain the elite SF's or SG's in the league when we play against them, offensively his role is pretty simple. Bynum has been a consistent scoring option for us, we can throw it into the post to him every time and hes shown great low post moves so far. I think Bynum may command a double team, especially against smaller defenders, and not too many are long and tall enough to guard Bynum. That is pretty scary considering Kobe commands a double team, and Pau in the post definitely must be doubled.

Ron Artest on Jimmy Kimmel
kingfish replied to The Artesticle's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
He is hillarious. He really does meet with the fans out here and they do stuff in LA. One of these days im going to attend his events and meet him for myself, he seems like an interesting character. -
LA vs New York, oh goodie. We should win pretty easily but NY likes to run fast and we can be kinda slow sometimes with our effort, just got to abuse their lack of defense and keep them in half court offensively as much as possible. If it gets into a running game we dont have the advantage, use the two 7 footers in half court sets.
-
Remember when like all of yall said he was gonna chuck shots, not listen to the coaches, and disrupt chemistry? That isnt happening. Hes been playing within the offense, been passive, and used most of his energy on defense. Looks like the type of player we need so far.

Uhmm, Aldridge anyone? Beast.

Elton starts dominating when given the minutes and you guys want to trade him? I dont understand it.

September 11 Terrorists "Rights"
kingfish replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Well I mean sure why not. We dont even know if they are the ones that are behind it, so I guess a trial is neccesary. Im not sayin their innocent but you cant just accuse random guys of something and assume its true. -
McGrady ready to play, but Rockets tell him to wait
kingfish replied to GamerGuy's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Well that is true I mean the Grizzlies gave us Pau for Kwames huge expiring contract, but we actually gave them good talent and picks too. I think the Rockets are better off keeping TMac and hoping for the best then use the cash next summer. The Rockets are a pretty attractive franchise, they could have someone playing alongside Yao, plus they have a very good young nucleus of Brooks, Trevor, Scola, and have a good leader in Battier. Think the Rockets can land a pretty good free agent if they spend the cash on him. -
Oklahoma City @ L.A. Lakers

Man lot of blowouts. Wonder if any of our games will be close, maybe the Celtics, Cavs, or Magic will keep it close. Maybe. -
No haha they dont stand a chance really. Pretty much any team that doesnt have a guy that can at least give Kobe a challenge on defense will lose. If we have both our post players we should win pretty easily. I dont think we will slack off considering weve lost 3 already.

90s, or today? Some people say today cause of the fouls and not as rough play. But also say its harder cause of the zones being allowed in todays game.
