If Celtics win 70+ Games...Who would win MVP?
kingfish replied to Revis Island's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Uhh, its not all that impossible if you think about it. He did average very very close to a triple double in the playoffs last year, 9.7 RPG and 9.8 APG to be exact. So far this year hes averaging almost 6 boards per game, 12 assists per game, 2 steals per game, and shooting over 60 %. Those numbers are good, but if he improves his points to somewhere around 10 per game he should win MVP if in fact the Celtics do win 70 games. -

Possible trades for Jackson, Maggette?
kingfish replied to Real Deal's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Jackson should get traded to Atlanta so they can have Crawford back. Maggete to New York for Duhon probably. Biedrins will probably get traded for Jason Terry. And then Randolph will probably be traded to Charlotte for Raymond Felton. -
Cavs really cant match up with the Celtics, so I say Magic are tougher. Perkins handles Shaq quite easily, there is no double teams there. Lebron always has his hands full, and the rest of their roster are just not as talented as the Celtics complimentary players.

Kobe was horrible tonight, but he did miss a lot of point blanks that he usually makes. He just looked lazy and stagnant on offense, he didnt seem like he wanted to be a leader tonight and score + create when we couldnt get anything.
-
Kobe is playin lazy and pathetic, not getting anything started for other and just standing around. He needs to step it up without Pau. Also were just playin scared on defense ever since the refs startin calling bs.
-
Hes helpless without Pau.
-
This is pathetic. Even Kobe is just standing around tonight.

Billups MJ Kobe Boozer Oden Bench : David West, Baron Davis, Derozan Coach : Phil Jackson, triangle Pretty obvious why this team would win. How could they not win?

I dont get the Lakers one. Rest are funny.

Got to love the matchups the rest of the way. Phillies have the pitching depth and advantage. Hamels was the WS MVP last year, Pettite looks sharp this postseason, but the Phillies are a whole nother brand of baseball, especially in that park. CC will probably throw on 3 days rest, im wondering if Lee will do the same.

Is it just me or is Poppovich also very very stupid with his rotations.

When did all these suspensions occur?

Idk but is it any coincedence all those guys are fake thugs -
"If we give the benefit of the calls to the team that's down in the series, nobody's going to complain. The series will be even at three apiece, and then the better team can win Game 7," Bavetta stated. So the better team won game 7?
-
If I remember correctly, he had the ball in his hands in the final seconds of game 1 with the chance to win, but passed it up. And all of those games in the ECF's were close and most of them came down to the last few possesions, yet the Cavs still lost the series because Lebron couldnt close the games.

One goal. Championship Beat the Raptors.

If the Yanks lose this game they are SCREWED. They need to win every game CC is on the mound this series if they are going to have a chance in this series. Phillies rotation is solid, they not only can match Cliff Lee with CC but they have a veteran in Pedro who looks terrific recently and last years WS MVP in Hamels, plus you got Happ and Blanton waiting to get in there. For the Yanks, they probably are going to throw CC as many times as possible, on 3 days rest. He is only going to get worse as the series goes along against a team that has already hammered him before and will see him multiple times again this series and get more comfortable. Burnett is very wild and probably wont fare well against this Phillies lineup, who are very patient with power hitters. Pettite looks great this postseason, but I expect him to come back down to earth. The Yankees cant afford to lose with CC on the mound. Just like last series against the Angels, CC dominated both his starts and the Yanks won in 6 games. If he loses, the Yankees lose the series.

L.A. Clippers @ L.A. Lakers
kingfish replied to alcstarheel's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Good opening night win! Kobe was magnificent as always. I think he will have a huge year, even better then last year now that we have Artest. He can play passing lanes more for steals, and just have a lot more energy on offense. Hopefully Pau is back for Dallas on Friday.
