  1. Basketball. Most notably playoff basketball of Lakers championship basketball, the atmosphere is amazing and with all the celebs and Laker legends floatin around before the game its awesome to meet them
  2. Why do you guys always do this lol. Obviously Texas would win. However, the best team and NBA champions is from California.
  3. Actually Force you are wrong so you might want to get your facts straight next time.
  4. This list is a joke. You know who is not on it ridiculous.
  5. YES. The Bulls were the team of the 90's, team of the decade if you will. The Lakers will be the team of the 00's with 4 titles this decade so far (most).
  6. Decade = 00-10 You dont start a decade by saying 99-09, thats just retarded. You discuss eras such as the 80s, 90s, and now the 00's.
  7. This is part where Lebron tells his mom shut up [expletive] and slaps her
  8. I think the resume speaks for itself, who dominated the most over the last 10 years. Kobe has had an 81 point game, 62 in 3, 50 in 4 straight, 40 in 9 straight, also hit the most game winners in NBA history during that 10 year span, won 4 titles, only needed 1 all star along side him to do it. And other then that he also had one of the greatest seasons in NBA history (35, 5, 5, per game), and probably one of the best if not the best perimeter defender of the last 10 years. The most entertaining player, and most dominant of the last 10 years. I just dont see what Duncan has over Kobe except for an edge in awards but keep in mind who is voting for these awards and criteria they have. Kobes team also dominated Duncan teams head to head over the last 10 years, just sayin.
  9. Very good list Erick. I agree with the first 10. Pau and Dirk are close imo, but Pau gets the edge for several reasons. He is much better defender, and won a championship. Pau doesnt have the un clutch resume that Dirk has. For Laker fans and those that watched Laker games last year we know how clutch Pau is, coming up with huge baskets to win or seal the game against the Celtics on Christmas, clutch shots against the Nuggets, a 3 point play to seal game 2 of the Finals, a fast break dunks to seal game 5 of the finals, and he kept us close in several games when Kobe was not feeling it down the stretch. Pau was very clutch last year. Why do people bring up the Grizzlies era, Pau is 29 and in his prime right now. Dirk is 31 and was in his prime when he was choking in the playoffs all these years. Pau also owns Dirk head to head in the last 2 years, that is the deciding factor imo. I ask one question do you think Dirk could have done the job Pau did on Dwight Howard in last years finals, absolutely not and a Mavericks coach would have been stupid to even try putting Dirko n a physical player like Dwight.
  10. Why do we start this decade [expletive] now when the decade isnt even over yet
  11. Either way, im still not wrong. He still was the only hall of famer on his own team, so regardless of competition thats still pretty remarkable. My final argument 81, 62 in 3 quarters, outscoring an entire team by himself after 3 quarters, 50 in 4 straight, most game winners in NBA history, 40 in 9 straight, 35 PPG in a season. Not even MJ has done some of these things people. Kobe was also a greater defender then Magic. So yeah, Kobe > Magic.
  12. AI and Z-Bo on the team, hold on to your seat belts this will be a wild ride. You just know the other guys like Mayo, Gay, Gasol wont be happy either. Plus after a while people will be begging to take out AI and let Conley develop. I give em a week before their at each others throats and most of them are on the trading block.
  13. Parker and Kidd will probably be hall of famers.
  14. Good post Hanley is just ridiculous, and so young. Hes shown no signs of slowing down, I mean have we really seen this kind of shortstop before? Take a good long look at his numbers, he is probably just as good as A-rod when he was a short stop. Mauer is also scary good. Hes already won a batting title. Hes probably going to get another one this year, look at his power numbers as well. A great defensive catcher with those kind of numbers, are you kidding me?
  15. Nahh there are multiple teams around the league with multiple hall of famers on them. The Celtics for one, the Spurs, the Mavericks, possibly the Nuggets. Kobe went through all of these teams, by himself. Himself meaning he had no hall of fame teammates, like the teams I listed above.
  16. Doesnt that make Kobes title(s) more impressive then, because he didnt need a hall of fame teammate to win?
  17. Just got done playing it. It looks realllly good. Key word = looks. The graphics and pregames and presentation is nice, the shot animations look fantastic, the crowd and everything looks great. The gameplay is still the same arcade style it always has been though. They give you 2 quarters in the demo. I ended up scoring at least 20 points total with Kobe on like 80 percent shooting with ease, in the 2 quarters they give you. Its just so easy to score with the great players, even Dwight was doing crazy things. Then again Vince Carter was guarding me with Kobe, so of course it was easy . But still this is just another year where you can take a superstar and cheese your way to 70 points per game with him. I got dunk after dunk with Kobe, then I turned the difficutly to max superstar. Didnt make a difference, kept scoring with ease. The game is actually fun and looks pretty cool, but doesnt seem like it will touch 2k10 once again this year.
  18. I think you just proved my point. Kobe had 0 hall of fame teammates and led a team to a championship last year. Magic had a handful of them.
  19. Really stepping out on a limb there I see. I think that water is wet.
  20. So do u guys know how to read or u just forgot about the other players lol.
  21. dling now. thanks for the heads up. anyone know when 2k10 demo comes out?
  22. Where will these players rank for their position at the end of their careers Albert Pujols - first base Hanley Ramirez - Shortstop A-Rod - 3rd base Chase Utley - 2nd base Joe Mauer - catcher Tim Lincecum - starting pitcher I say all of them will finish their careers as the best to ever play that position.
