Losing Odom is a big deal. Bench can hardly score as it is, Sasha/Farmar/Mbenga/Brown/Luke, nobody on that lineup can put the ball in the basket. Heck it sounds crazy but I wouldnt mind bringing in AI off the bench, at least he can create offense for himself and others.

Actually I think they do have to trade him. They have already tried to trade him and if they dont they cant just turn around and tell Roy "its ok we were just kidding!" Plus they have already said that Roy has told them he will pursue free agency in 2010 and probably wont resign them. The Jays are going to trade him, but they might have to settle for less considering they have already made it clear they have to trade him NOW. If they wait until next season, his value will lower significantly because he will be in the last year of his contract. Teams will want Roy for this postseason and all of next season, thats why his value is so high right now.

I say Lakers in an unbiased way. Its hard to find a dominant defensive player on the perimeter, one that can shut down dominant perimeter scorers. Not to mention he is a very good scorer and perfect for the triangle because he can play from the post. I have doubts about Sheed, and if he can return to how good he used to be, he seems to have lost a step. And for the Spurs I really dont think RJ is that great of a splash, hes not going to put a team over the top.

Soccer is boring, who wants to watch people kick a soccer ball around for hours and not make any progress, yeah there are 2 or 3 exciting moments per soccer game, whenever a team scores which is rare. In baseball you can get excited about hits, strikeouts, home runs, stolen bases, plays at the plate. Its worth watching a baseball game, not worth watching a goal or 2 in soccer for 3 hours. Ill just watch the 20 second highlights on sportscenter and see the few goals and celebrations after the goal.
