  1. I wouldnt rule out Kobe averaging 28. Dwight is basically replacing Drew, so hel get about the same amount of shot attempts Drew did, I havent looked it up but im sure they got about the same attempts last year even with Dwight in Orlando. Other then that, Nash and Gasol would be the ones taking away shots from Bryant. But Nash is a pass first PG, hes going to be looking to set other guys up first and then take shots within the offense or if hes open, Nash wont take away shots from Kobe. Gasol will have probably see a dip in his FGA, given that hes sucked the last 2 postseasons and hes now a 4th option. You could say Kobe wont average around 28 because hes not capable of it, but the FGA will most likely be there. I see no reason why they would be significantly lower then the previous few seasons. Even if they were lower, his efficiency likely will go up due to getting easier buckets and single coverage more often, so hel get more points on fewer shots.
  2. Kobe will be the first and best option offensively, averaging around 28 ppg on pretty good efficiency. Dwight will be a secondary scorer offensively, anchor defensively and average around 13 rpg and 3 bpg. Either could be considered our best player depending on which way you look at it. I guess you would say Dwight is considered the better player since he makes more of an impact on both ends. Then you would also have to say prime Shaq > MJ (in his last few Bulls years at least).
  3. Hes gonna be a beast this season. A motivated and healthy Ron Artest can still be a lockdown defender.
  4. Its like 100+ or mid 90's here, far from perfect. And like high 80s to low 90's at night. Its still miserable. But youre right it could be worse. Summer needs to end already. :wallbash3:
  5. I think most republicans share the same views as you. I dont think many people would expect a Romney victory come November, even his own party doesnt fully support him.
  6. Thats an excellent contribution to this forum. :glasses:
  7. What are your opinions on him? Do you think he is a good candidate for president? Is he a fat cat wall street guy who is the prototypical example of why this country is a complete failure economically? If you think hes a good candidate please explain why. I wonder if anyone would actually vote for him.
  8. Summer is the worst. I think when summer hits everyone should crawl into an air conditioned bunker and stay there until summer is over. Thankfully August is almost over.
  9. No you dont. People always come to my private beach and its annoying. You have no idea how hard it is. So just stop. <_<
  10. So Kobe = Wade Bosh > Gasol and Howard is irrelevant.
  11. My God what has this country become. I wanted to throw up just watching that.
  12. Jordan Kobe Kareem Shaq Magic Jordan and Kobe are top 2 obviously because they are probably the most unstoppable players the game has seen, especially in their primes. Both Jordan and Kobe had to be doubled 15 feet away from the rim, in their primes (Jordan wasnt as much due to zones being illegal). Kobe from 05-07 was truly unstoppable, the amount of jumpers and fadeaways over double teams was amazing, too bad he had a roster literally full of scrubs, he would have been a much more efficient scorer. Kareem has to be 3rd considering his sky hook which is probably the best go to move ever, it was an unblockable shot and he made it almost every time, and of course he has the most points in history. I put Shaq 4th because in his prime, he was going to dominate you every night no matter what. There was simply nobody who could guard him in the post, he was an extremely efficient scorer and was a great rebounder as well. Magic has to be 5 at least, best passer ever. Duncan and Hakeem just barely missed the top 5.
  13. Make a list. Lets start with Bill Russell, he would be a role player or defensive specialist at best. Then maybe Wilt, although I think he could average double figures. Who else?
  14. Dwight may very well win Finals MVP if he averaged like 22/18 with 3 blocks which hes very capable of. Kobe is going to lead this team in scoring regardless though. I think hel be a bit more efficient playing alongside Nash, his 28 points or so wont take a lot of shots.
  15. Where would you rank him on your all time list? Also assume Kobe will be the leading scorer on these championship teams, averaging something around 28 ppg in the playoffs.
  16. The thing that would worry me the most is Bosh hitting 3's against us. If he is at Center then that makes Howard have to play away from the rim. They will have great floor spacing this year with all that shooting. I think MWP is the difference in the series, if he can be the defensive player he used to then that gives us a huge advantage.
  17. We have plenty of depth so injuries wont really be a problem for us. Nash and Dwight is just an unstoppable combo for Miami, unless they want to put Wade on Nash which will render him useless offensively from having to chase Nash around pick and rolls. And Dwight is going to be guarded by Bosh, Haslem, or Anthony.... Theres no chance of Dwight not dominating the Heat. He averaged almost 20/20 against Miami last season. Playing with Jameer Nelson and J Rich......
  18. Well, as currently constructed, who do you think is the better team? Nash/Blake/Duhon Kobe/Meeks MWP/Ebanks Gasol/Jamison Dwight/Hill Chalmers/Cole Wade/Allen Lebron/Lewis/Miller Bosh/Haslem Anthony/Pittman
  19. Jay is also the executive producer of NBA 2k13 this year. That kind of surprised me.
