I can't imagine anyone saying that either. It's the people who say he is #1 for sure that bugs me.

Man what a shot by Kobe.
-
^In a heartbeat for sure.

I refuse to call this guy Metta World Peace, but Ron Artest has been coming up big in the last 3 games.

Are we overlooking the San Antonio Spurs?
Newman replied to Dash's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
The defense is better with the addition of Kawhi and the improvement of Splitter. But I don't see Blair continuing to be a factor on offense. At the end of the day, they will have to rely on Duncan, Manu and Parker to score for them and I still don't think that is sufficient. -
The sad thing is, a 70% fit Michael Redd would probably still be better than Dudley and Shannon Brown at the starting 2-guard spot.

Is Kyle Lowry a darkhorse to make the All-Star Game?
Newman replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Yup, it is mostly about the team's record. If Houston is close to making the playoffs I don't see why you can't make a case for Lowry. -
Still yet to see the defense we were known for last year.

I jumped out of my seat during a game for the 3rd time ever when Durant made that shot. What.A.Shot.
-
Great shot by Cook to ensure Thunder has the lead to end the 3rd. And man oh man, Odom looks worse than Ian Mahinmi at the moment.
-
I am liking what James Harden does on the court more and more by the minute.
-
Brandon Rush might just live up to his potential after all. He is looking good at the moment.

This team wants to get rid of a PG, hit him up if you got a SG/SF.

If you don't mind, I would like to post some random thoughts of my own. - This condensed season will heavily favour younger teams, and now I can see the Warriors, the Kings and even the Bobcats getting a chance at making the playoffs. - The Lakers are done. Period. Ditto for the Spurs and the Mavs. I am tempted to say the Bulls won't have a chance at championship either, as the Heat has the trophy in the bag for the next three years or so, dependent on whether the Big 2 1/2 can continue to be unselfish and focused at the task at hand - If the Clippers want to go further than they go right now, they need to get rid of Vinny. Just not head coach material. - The Hornets are not going to be bad this year, which would ironically be bad for them in the long-run. - Tyson Chandler isn't going to change the culture of the New York team. Nor is Mike Woodson or Iman Shumpert. It all comes down to D'Antoni, Carmelo and Amare as their desire to play defense affect everybody else. - Rondo is the real deal. I used to say he is trash without the Big 3, but you can just see his confidence from the Knicks v Celtics game. - For the Mavs, Chandler and DeShawn Stevenson > Odom, VC and Delonte West. - Man, am I glad the NBA is back. Done for now.

Derrick Rose wants to stay in Chicago his whole career
Newman replied to Sportsguy9695's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
What else is D-Rose or any other player meant to say though? That he would prefer L.A or Miami over Chicago? They are virtually fixed to the one response, which is they love the team they are in right now. -

Just need 1 more!

The Mavs made a big mistake in letting both Brewer and Stevenson go IMO. To go against top SF's now they only got Marion and a slow VC.

Christmas Attacks in Nigeria Kill 39

R.I.P. -
DeAndre Jordan with 5 blocks already. :o

Absolutely no disrespect to the Lakers, but I kinda expected the Bulls to win it more easily. (I didn't watch the game) Of course that was because I assumed Rose would torch the Lakers (which he didn't) and that Kobe would have been affected by injury. Nonetheless, 1-0 to start off the season.

It's coming... EDIT: And it's here. Once Allen gets a few jumpers under his belt you better believe his 3-pointers are going in.
