I wasn't supporting his claim on getting quality players lol. I was merely stating who they have acquired/signed. No one in this world would say that Rautins and Wright are better than Butler and Chandler. Only Rudy out of the 3 would have a chance in getting some PT this season.

The conflict of interest here is just too much..If George Shinn was still owner of the Hornets and he vetoed the trade people would just say "Fine, this is a bad decision on his part.". But now, NBA, acting as owners of the Hornets and vetoing the trade, all these conspiracy theories appear. They should have just let the trade happen. It was fair, everybody win in their own point of view, and get on with it.

The thing is, though, the NBA would not stop Chris Paul bolting to LA as a free agent (which he will). So what's the point is vetoing a trade that would bring the Hornets some assets instead of nothing at all?

Source Dooling is a good veteran PG. Good to see Danny Ainge filling the roster spots with veterans (Dooling, Marquis Daniels).

Odom definitely sounded quite emotional in the interview, I wonder what the impact of this vetoed/cancelled trade will be for all the teams involved. For the sake of the franchises and ignoring the fact that this is another small-market star going to a large market, this trade has to go through. But Lakers fans, how are you guys going to get Dwight with Bynum alone?
