I heard that the Blazers wanted a starting PG in the draft. Nolan Smith can definitely be the one. Also, people have speculated that Brad Miller and two picks (23rd and future 1st) will be going to Minny for Donatas and Jonny Flynn.
-
Minny better make a trade or they are going to get another top 5 pick next year. They also have Anthony Randolph which makes this 4 and 5 situation crazy.

Spurs Acquire Kawhi Leonard for George Hill

I think trading George Hill basically gave Parker a vote of confidence and as we know, they are looking to get rid of Jefferson and Leonard can be the starting SF in the long run. -

Sweet deal by the Spurs. -
That is true, although I don't think they would be able to find someone with such rebounding abilities like Faried on the free agency market.
-
Kenneth Faried, Marshon Brooks, Jordan Hamilton to name a few.
-
Kenneth Faried would have been a much better pick.
-
He just might be able to beat out Hawes for the starting spot.
-
Isn't Marcus a SF more than a PF anyway?
-
I didn't really think they needed a PF considering they have Frye and Warrick which, while isn't the best combination, is still not bad. Jordan Hamilton or Kawhi Leonard would have been a better pick IMO.

Really, Phoenix? The older Morris twin?

Tony Parker to Kings for #7 / Caspi?
Newman replied to Jammin's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
My guess would be a SF like Kawhi Leonard or Jan Vesely. Kemba is nice, but George Hill should do the job fine. -
Indeed. I think that while there is no superstars in my opinion, there are a lot of decent role players. It is definitely not anywhere near the class of 2000.

George Hill is going to be the starting PG and Pop loves him, at least more than he likes Parker. If they can get some nice players for Parker, they should do it. EDIT: Just saw that the Spurs is looking to get rid of Richard Jefferson's contract as well by packaging him with a more attractive asset in Parker. That makes more sense. -
Magic Acquire Josh Smith? *FALSE RUMOR*

What can Jersey give to interest the Hawks? Brook Lopez? -
I don't think the Rockets will even look at Biyombo because they already have Thabeet. They are both offensively inept, yet has great potential on the defensive end.

Only the two teams in L.A can entice Howard in my opinion.

Cavs open to trading Hickson, Sessions?
Newman replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Sessions I understand, but Hickson? Guy was really coming into his own near the end of the season. -

Count me in. -
K-Mart wouldn't play before Haslem or Bosh though.

You serious?

They also had Phil Jackson too, and the Triangle was very beneficial to Shaq. I just don't think this argument should be put to bed simply because of Miami's loss this season. They are coming back and as they continue to understand more of each other's playing style, they can only get better.
-
One year dude. Shaq and Kobe had 3 years together before they won their first championship. Although I still do believe Shaq and Kobe are better.

It's a shame this could be the last basketball game for the rest of the year thanks to the looming lockout. Still, I can safely say that most of us are satisfied with this season enough to endure through a possibly shortened season next year. Dallas were great, Terry, Dirk, Barea....all performed very well. Miami is going to come back, eventually, and they are going to come back with a vengeance. I can't wait.
