  1. To be fair, Westbrook is not a natural PG. Still, Scott Brooks need to consider playing Maynor at the point in clutch moments and push Westbrook to SG if he is required on the floor. Having Cook won't work if he isn't hitting his shots.
  2. I believe Hornets were the team who traded Aldrich to OKC so I doubt they would want him. I can only see Hornets doing this CP3-Westbrook deal if Paul clearly does not want to stay.
  3. James Harden. I have always liked old school players and he is one of a few in the NBA. 1. Harden 2. Turner - He has tons of potential, and his game can be quite dynamic. 3. Mayo - Scoring and nothing more, although he did show against Westbrook that he can play good defense.
  4. I am guessing he wants a SF since its the Nets' weakest spot at the moment. Tobias Harris or Chris Singleton would be taken at the 27th more than likely so moving up would be nice, as long as no decent players are involved.
  5. I didn't watch the game, but just basing on the stats we shot way too poor. I am not sure whether this is just unlucky or because of Miami's defense, but if it's the latter, credit to them. Udonis Haslem is going to be huge for the rest of the series. We have to look out for him.
  6. I can see Wade and LeBron going crazy after a lacklustre first game.
  7. ^ First of all, I doubt the salary match regarding the trade. Kapono is a free agent. Secondly, Vesely would not drop down to 9th, he just have too much upside for teams to pass up on him. Bobcats would probably get someone like Kenneth Faried at that spot. Lastly, that team doesn't look any better than the team right now. Just looking around for an offensive option is difficult enough.
  8. The first and possibly only time I will agree with David Kahn. Ah well, good for Cleveland. Their rebuilding process just sped up by 5 years.
  9. Irving is a lock. Sessions will get traded for the new kid on the block (again) and Baron can be back-up or play SG. As for the 4th pick, I see them going for Jan Vasely. He is a good SF/PF and he has tons of potential.
  10. Just the Bobcats for me. They need to get talent, and quickly. They got a good coach, a good system that's friendly to young players but there just aren't any great prospects worth developing at the moment.
  11. Kirk Hinrich's injury was a blessing in disguise. Teague is a stud and if the Hawks played like they did against the Bulls for the entire season, they would have won at least 50 games.
  12. I don't think it is that unbelievable. Randolph did average 20-12 in the regular season.
  13. John Stockton is rolling over in his grave. Still, AI's crossovers were incredible and while I love Timmy Hardaway, I need to give this one to AI.
  14. I think Shaw is going to do a good job, but Adelman would do a great job. I just hope Lakers fans won't turn on him because he used to coach the Kings.
  15. As much as I hate to admit, yes. You look at this game and you look at other games when the Big 3, or even just 2 of the big 3 at times, have good games, they are just unstoppable.
  16. And just enough time for Nate Robinson to make an appearance. Thunder cruising.
  17. ^ I like that trade for the Lakers a lot, actually. Not just because of Brook, but also because their bench would be better and I think if the Lakers do consider trading Pau, that is what they should focus on. Getting at least a second-tier star and some role players.
  18. Yeah, but those guys don't get drafted. I would say its some parts the fault of players, but mostly its a fault of general managers for not drafting properly. Too many of them focus on potential and ignore what the player can do right now. Why is it that guys like Wes Matthews and Gary Neal come into the league can contribute right away but many guys drafted in the first round doesn't even make it off the bench? The answer is because those undrafted guys have to go through some levels of competition (training camp, summer league) before they can make the team while some guys in the first round didn't even do much in college, which means their skills were undeveloped upon entering the NBA.
  19. Indeed, and this OKC team is also still quite young. Harden, Westbrook and Durant all have room to grow and it is going to be a process of playing bad games and learning from them.
  20. I don't think trading Pau would fix the issues Lakers have right now.
  21. On the bright side, Andrew Bynum is looking more like the player that he was a few years back.
  22. Miami are just too good. They have reacquired the form that made them unbeatable sometime earlier in the season.
