  1. There isn't a word out there that can describe this performance. Just a sensational game from a sensational player.
  2. Griffin would make Chris Duhon's APG stat looks like Chris Paul's.
  3. 2nd scoring option in a bad team, 3rd scoring option in an average team and 4th scoring option in a really good team at best.
  4. It's not as funny as the laugh track suggests, yes, but it is still a good show.
  5. That's good photoshopping there. I didn't even realize they did that without seeing the text.
  6. All I and probably every Blazer fan wants to see, is a healthy Greg Oden playing 82 games. As long as he can do that, the things he do on the court might enable him to dominate.
  7. MVP: Derrick Rose Coach of the Year: Gregg Popovich Defensive Player of the Year: Dwight Howard Most Improved: Kevin Love 6th man: Jason Terry Rookie of the Year: Blake Griffin Biggest Disappointment (player or team): Brook Lopez Biggest Surprise (player or team): Spurs First League All-Team: C: Dwight Howard F: Kevin Durant F: LeBron James G: Kobe Bryant G: Derrick Rose Finals Guess: Lakers v Celtics 4-3
  8. Sounds like the Steve Francis-Vancouver incident all over again.
  9. I think that if Lawson get the minutes, he is better than Collison. His speed is tremendous and he can attack the basket like few others. Collison's basketball IQ is a bit higher IMO and he passes better, but if Lawson get the hang of controlling a team he is a better player.
  10. Following. Trade Melo to NY, it's realistic. :glasses:
  11. Considering how terrible this year's rookie class has been, I would say he has a 50% chance of making it.
  12. To beat a good Utah team shows how far Philly has come comparing to last year.
  13. Hickson had 13 points and 20 boards and Jamison had a 31-11 game, yet the Cavs still lost by 13.
  14. The Hornets are storming past the Spurs here. EDIT: Just saw the quarter-by-quarter, 31-10 in Hornets' favour in the 3rd quarter. Amazing.
  15. I don't think the Rockets need Landry as the OP mentioned, Patterson is a promising prospect and Hill can play the 4 as well. The Kings should move Landry nonetheless if they can't make him their future 4 and keep juggling his minutes along with Thompson's.
  16. Rented this and it was terrific. Friends who didn't know anything about basketball had fun playing it, the controls were easy to get a grip onto and it was just awesome basketball. It did exactly what I expected it to do: A quick and easy option to play fun, fast-paced basketball.
  17. I decided against getting it a few days ago as my internet service was down and the beauty of the original LBP game was the custom stages created by users. I may rent it first before getting it though. The trailers were amazing but I wonder if the actual thing plays that well.
  18. Why is this in the GSW forum? Anyway, Nick Young does I think. He is explosive, can score in a bundle and all he needs to do is make good shot selections every single game, learn to play D and he can be a tremendous player. I haven't really seen DeRozan play much, but in games I've seen him in he didn't show that he has many offensive weapons as Young. I have realized that he has made a huge improvement in the past month or so though, so maybe a Raptors fan can correct me.
  19. 1. If they can rebuild, they should rebuild. I love guys like Scola, Battier and Brooks, but they are not going to get into the Western semi-finals or even the playoffs with this roster. 2. 7-8th seed at best. htownborn said what I wanted to say. 3. Yao is still the face of the Rockets, regardless of his health. None of the other guys are stars, Kevin Martin is a great 3rd option and a good 2nd option, but Yao was suppose to be the one bringing them to success. 4. Do it. If they have to give up Kevin Martin, Battier and Brooks/Lowry, I would still do it if Melo is willing to sign that extension. The Rockets got too many good players, not nearly enough great players.
  20. ^ Well I, for one, thought they would be the 4th seed at best. I remember me or someone did a poll regarding how many wins this Spurs team would get this season and most fall between the 55 or below range, which is a logical guess at the time, but no one expect them to be on pace to be getting 70 wins. Still, no one would talk about it until they actually get 70 wins, that's just how the Spurs roll.
  21. San Antonio is at 35-6 and have won 15 straight at home. Unbelievable.
  22. vs Oklahoma City - L because it's on TNT @ Dallas - Win @ Denver - Lose vs Utah - Lose vs Sacramento - Win vs Boston - Win if KG is still out vs Houston - Win vs San Antonio - Lose @ New Orleans - Lose @ Memphis - Lose if Tony Allen is playing instead of Henry @ Boston - Lose @ New York - Win @ Orlando - Win 6 W and 7L right there.
  23. He is the most exciting rookie I have seen since Michael Jordan and he has the stats to back it up, not to mention his NBA-ready skills has also helped him become an all-star selection worthy player.
  24. I, for one, would love him or Ben Gordon back. He is probably going to a playoff team with cap space though. I don't know what the Wiz really need, but I doubt we can offer them it.
