Prince, Kuester Get Into Heated Argument
Newman replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Detroit Pistons Team Forum
The Pistons wanted to get rid of Prince anyway, but this will give them less leverage in trade talks. -
NBA Awaits Satnam From India, So Big and Athletic at 14
Newman replied to htown11's topic in International Basketball
This dude is 14? He must have a damn high body growth rate. Anyway, best of luck to him and hopefully he develop some post-up skills and other essential aspects to become a good big man before declaring for the NBA. Given his young age and how early the scouts discovered him, I am sure they can train him into becoming a good player. -
Clippers. Turns out having a terrific rookie in Blake Griffin doesn't equal to wins.
-
Source Good to see he is finally being considered by a team for a roster spot. Given his success with the Knicks' last year, I don't see why he won't have the same impact with the Suns.

Hawks Reject Thompson For Teague Offer From Kings
Newman replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
The Hawks would have benefit from this trade in the short-term (heck, when Marvin and Mo Evans were down, they had to start Jason Collins), but Teague is the future starting PG. -
LeBron Complains Of Too Much Playing Time

Pat Riley to the rescue! -
Coaching Staff Expanding DeRozan's Role
Newman replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I don't think Weems should be considered as a main player for the Raptors. He is, at best, a fourth option or a role player. If the Raptors can get some solid draft picks and hook some veterans up via free agency, they could be back in playoff contention sooner than later. -
Paul Pierce taking shots at LeBron?
Newman replied to magicbalala245's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Good to see teams' rivalry coming back after disappearing for almost a decade. -
San Antonio at Oklahoma City
Newman replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
^ I think Anderson is out for two months so you don't have to worry about him. -
Not to mention Bosh probably won't like getting benched in favour of a frontcourt pairing of Big Z/Joel Anthony and Udonis Haslem.

^Gary Forbes is definitely a previously unknown player discovered by the Nuggets, but Afflalo and Williams have been role players in their previous team(s).

Franchise Player vs. Best Player
Newman replied to The Lone Granger's topic in General NBA Discussion
I see a franchise player as plainly someone you would associate with the team. For example, Paul Pierce and Chris Paul are both franchise players in my opinion. -
The Jazz are officially the comeback kings.

Jerry Sloan finally to win coach of the year?
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Utah Jazz Team Forum
He should have gotten the award at least once before, most notably when the Jazz finished close to .500 without Stockton and Malone for the first time in x years. If the Jazz keep piling up the W's though he have a great chance. -
Wolves Sign Guard Sundiata Gaines
Newman replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
He deserves another chance in the NBA. Good to see him able to squeeze some minutes in before Flynn and Ridnour comes back. -
Yay another Bulls fan! Welcome.

No timeouts?

The momentum has shifted.

I am surprised this thread is dead considering Nuggets had a 16-0 run.

Ty Lawson!
-
Well, good to know that we owned a 6-2 team that didn't have David Lee.

The scary thing about this Heat team is that even though they played sub-par for at least 3 quarters, they were still able to claw back and make the opponent team sweat in the last 5 minutes or so. Imagine if Wade made 1 or 2 of those 3-pointers that rimmed out and Heat may be the team smiling at the end.

Does this hurt more or does Aaron Brooks' injury hurt more?

Obviously KG is a trash-talker too. I am just saying the refs' should give Ts fairly to everyone regardless of their 'star power'.
