loll Nate muttered a few words and got a T while LeBron has been talking non-stop for at least a minute at the ref and gets away with it. Come on.

That was an evil smile by Ray Allen.

Ray Ray always know when to hit a shot.

I agree with you Moe. Shaq will just crush Anthony and Bosh.

Hornets Have Inquired About Iguodala
Newman replied to The Lone Granger's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
I like it, just because there would truckloads of alley-oops of Paul to Iggy. -
Heat should really consider adding another big man after this. First Emeka, now Millsap. At least someone who makes the guards of the opposing team to think twice before handing the ball to the PFs/Cs.

Zach Randolph Interested in Joining Pistons?

I don't think Z-Bo is to blame here. People make up stuff to keep things interesting. Maybe it's the 20-20 he just posted and that he looks very happy on his interview with NBA TV (then again, probably everyone else would after posting 20-20), but I think he will be a professional and keep playing ball at Memphis. -
You got that right. I still remember being able to score from the halfway line...good times. FIFA is terrific nowadays though, I tried playing PES 2011 after playing FIFA 2009 and 2010 and it felt terrible.

In terms of depth, Magic and the Celtics' bench are definitely better than the Lakers' bench. In terms of explosiveness, the Suns win. I also think Mavs have a formidable bench as well.

Yeah I just realized that he is still like the top or second in terms of minutes played for the Wolves with like 26 minutes per game.

Well, Bosh and Hedo's shot attempts gotta go somewhere. -
Nahh they aren't worse than the Nets in terms of talent. All they have to do is.... FREE KEVIN LOVE ALREADY!

As we all know the Thunder didn't really surprise anyone with their start up to date (3-3), so what's wrong with them? Is it because Ron Adams left for Chicago? Durant's struggle? Lack of an inside presence? Obviously the struggle cannot be attributed to one single factor, but what do you think is the major factor? To me, it's Durant's struggle. I watched every USA match in the FIBA and he was killing the competition then. Granted, the other national teams didn't have notable NBA players, but he just outshone everyone else on the team and any time he put a shot up it looked like it was going in. Then skipping forward to last Thursday/Friday when I watched the Blazers' game, he was clearly struggling. He couldn't get away from Batum at all (Batum is a good defender though), and was putting up mostly bad shots. When he had open looks, it was almost like there was a sense of doubt in him in whether he was able to make the shot. Do you guys think he will struggle like this through the rest of the season and likewise, will the Thunder do the same?

Portland should have grabbed him then.

Stern Predicts European Division Within Decade
Newman replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
I would much rather them have two separate leagues, to be honest. Pre-season games with European teams is enough. -
I, for one, would welcome him to Chicago with open hands.

The Nuggets may have found another guy earning relatively low wages that is useful in the rotation: Gary Forbes. They seem to really have a knack on finding these type of guys.

I remember like 2-3 years ago I thought he will be on the same level as Messi and Ronaldinho....obviously that didn't work out, but it would still be a major coup for Houston, and to an extent the MLS, to get a player of such calibre as Dos Santos and someone who is still in the 'golden age' of his career.

Really? I must have got the two mixed up then. When I read about articles they refer to those "Strict Shooters" as "Pure Shooters" so I guess the phrase's definition varies between people.
-
To be really strict on the definition of "Pure Shooters", only two come to mind. Kyle Korver and Jason Kapono. I don't count Ray-Ray since he has the ability to drive to the lane. EDIT: Peja is another.

Will any player score 60+ this year?
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in General NBA Discussion
I am going with Monta too. The style of the team and the number of shot attempts he can get enable him to have the greatest chance. Durant still got guys like Westbrook and Jeff Green who can score, not to mention the Thunder are aiming for home court advantage in the playoffs. If Steph Curry and/or David Lee is injured (and the possibility is high considering this is the Warriors), Monta can probably shoot like 40 shots and no one would blame him.
