I agree with the names being thrown around here and the order they are in, but am I the only one disappointed with the quality of PGs in this decade? Cassell was a beast with the Bucks and T'Wolves but that's only 5 years. Ditto for Mike Bibby. The same can be said for Deron and CP3, although I believe personally that the quality shown by them is enough to warrant a spot. Andre Miller is a consistent performer but if he gets a spot in the list then it means that there is/was not many good PGs around.

Blazers will shop for free agent guards with MLE
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
I hope they don't waive Patty Mills. Saw him playing with the Australian basketball team and I believe that he can flourish given the playing time. -
Salmons close to re-signing with the Bucks
Newman replied to BadgerFan's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
Is Michael Redd officially out of next season's equation? Because if not the Bucks will be pretty damn good at the positions they were weak at last year. -
Unless Melo has suddenly lost his right hand, he is the best small forward in the NBA except for LeBron. It would be suicidal for the Nuggets to trade him now, especially if the trade above is 1 for 1.

Al Jefferson requests trade from Wolves
Newman replied to Real Deal's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Good. This will be beneficial to both Big Al and the Wolves as Big Al has been struggling to fit in the triangle offense and it is best to send him to another team when he still has value. -
Report: Cavs could make offer soon to Shaw or Scott
Newman replied to Dash's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
It doesn't really matter who the coach is if the Cavs lose LeBron and get nothing back. Getting Shaw would mean another one of Phil Jackson's heir apparent be taken away though. -
Don't worry. When the season (or even the summer league) begin, a lot of people will be off the bandwagon if he doesn't perform. I will be one of those people.

It will take time for Yao to blend in with Ariza and Martin. I can see them stumbling through the first 20 games with a .500 winning % but afterwards winning 40 of the remaining 62 games. They will be close to 50 wins nonetheless.

I love this line-up. A lot of solid role players and a few scorers + Yao makes it a potential 50-win team.

Wizards projected roster for 2010-2011

I like the line-up with VC. The starting five is solid and the bench can provide a lot of energy. -
Nuggets Might Be Willing To Trade Carmelo
Newman replied to Sportsguy9695's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
I do not believe that Melo will leave the Nuggets anytime soon. They may not be championship contenders, but they are a lock for playoffs every year in the West. -
Should the Magic trade for Al Jefferson?
Newman replied to Years's topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
The low post would be too packed IMO. Howard and Big Al kind of overlap each other in playing style and the area they move around in. -
Source: Wolves Ship Pick to Blazers for Webster
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
The Wolves could have certainly used Webster last season. Hell, they were using Damien Wilkins at times. -
They actually do, you just have to download the new roster update.

Care to rethink?

2-1 now. GOODNESS WAS THAT IN!? EDIT: Unbelievable! Lampard's strike was in and England nearly tied the game up but it was ruled out!

Germany are passing like they are playing FIFA 10.

I think that the Hornets are going to try and package Collison with Peja's contract or James Posey's contract before Emeka's. I know its a bad contract, but Okafor is still a productive player and their main priority is package Collison with someone who isn't productive.

Players and the league. To be fair, unless it is blatantly obvious, it is hard to make a snap decision on whether the player is flopping or not. The league should review some of the alleged flops and penalize the player for it if it is done too frequently by him.

Paul Pierce To The Clippers?
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Boston is like a second hometown to him at the moment given how long he has been there. -
What Knicks can offer is that they allow LeBron to pretty much control the team like a GM this summer. He gets to choose who he plays with (if money allows).

Wolves shopping Jefferson due to DARKO MILICIC?
Newman replied to a topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Just in terms of their playing position and not by ability, Darko is a better fit to Kevin Love than Big Al as he can play a center better. Ignoring his draft position Darko can be a good role player and if the Wolves are sticking to K-Love, Big Al is the one to go. Don't forget they have Ryan Hollins as another center they can use as well. -
Evan Turner and Wes Johnson followed by some SG/SF (Jordan Crawford, Damion James, Paul George, Xavier Henry)and Eric Bledsoe.

Orlando Denies Deng, Paul Trade Rumors
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
I would have liked to get Pietrus and Gortat for Deng...ah well. -
Blazers plan to release Ryan Gomes
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Just watched the Blazers draft review and they said he is only guaranteed $1m if he is waived before July 1st. I like the dude and I hope he resigns with the Blazers after the buyout, but he is probably going to join the other FAs and explore his options.
