I am pretty sure if LeBron joins Chicago, there should be very little problem recruiting a shooter or two and whatever else they need to push them to the top.

Grizzlies Might Sign-And-Trade Rudy Gay
Newman replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Do the Grizzlies really need anybody in particular? To me they are like OKC, all the holes are filled and all they need now is upgrades. I can't think of any straight swap for Gay on the top of my head right now so I think that the Grizz will trade him for some role players + picks. -
Derrick Rose. Rondo is a great defensive PG, no doubt. But Rose is a dominant PG. My mind may be filled with Rondo's highlights in recent weeks, but I still believe that Rose is a better PG overall at this moment.

The Jazz one looks the coolest of them all.

Cavs Exercise Team Option on Leon Powe
Newman replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
He should get a bigger role. He is too good of a player to rot on the bench, even in the Cavs. -
Philly would be a playoffs team with the addition of Turner and I am glad for Wizards to get #1 pick, they deserve it given how much they suffered last season.

Dominique for Danny Manning.

Hey y'all, want a new sig...you can choose between making a sig with Rajon Rondo or Ray Allen, all I ask for is that green is the main colour used. Thank you in advance.
-
Knicks, not because they're a better team than the Cavs or whatever (because they certainly are not at this moment), but because LeBron can control which players to get and become team-mates with considering the free cap space and the trade pieces NY have (Danilo, Wilson Chandler, Toney Douglas) and also because New York is one of the biggest city in USA.

It should be fantastic four now with Rondo. Anyway,Magic in 6 is my pick, although if Sheed can make an impact in the series then the Celtics will win in 7. His ability to shoot the long ball can lure Dwight out and make room for other players.

Shows what the Celts can do when they get serious. Still, I don't see them getting past Magic.

Blake Griffin as long as he remains healthy.

Tony Parker Has New York Max Money On Radar
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I like Parker, but a max deal for the 2nd-3rd offensive option in a team? I don't think so. -
Really? Avery with the Nets? I guess that means Devin Harris will return to the form last year, which is a good thing. The Nets has a talented squad, just need a good coach. Avery may be able to provide that.

I think 1.4m - 1.8m would be the right amount for a big man who can defend. Then again, with the shortage of big men nowadays, he'll probably be paid twice the amount I mentioned.

Hawks Will Make Qualifying Offer to Josh Childress
Newman replied to Cobb's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
I don't even remember this guy. I guess he gives them a trade chip to work with should he decide not to return to the team. -
Lakers vs Magic for me. When Magic play as well as they did against the Hawks and Bobcats (Dwight aside) with supporting cast draining all the 3s and Vince getting his mojo back, they usually win.

The mindset of a person change when he/she is in control of loads of cash. Unnecessary items become necessary, necessary items get upgraded etc. Still, should probably have some common sense and save some money or make some wise investments.

If the bench contains the same old players that we have now (Hinrich, Brad Miller, Warrick, Flip etc.), 55 wins in the first season.

GM5: Boston (2) @ Cleveland (2)
Newman replied to GamerGuy's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Ouch, what a kick in the [expletive]. The Celtics played great defense and Ray Allen shot the lights out. As for the Cavs...very, very dissapointing. The guy working the hardest was the oldest... -
I thought this was the year, but Karl's absence really hurt them in those clutch moments. Given that there will be no significant additions then I woul say yes, the window has closed. I love Melo, but he needs more helpers.

Fixing the Hawks: fire Woodson, trade Joe, keep Josh
Newman replied to Cobb's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
I say demote Bibby would probably be the best move out of them all along with getting tougher. Jeff Teague is one with potential to fill in his spot but in terms of a short-term solution starting Crawford or signing a veteran PG like Steve Blake might just do it. -
I love the potential of Hill, but I hope the Spurs won't press the panic button by trading Parker, I still believe that the Spurs can make another run at the Championship with this squad.

Did anyone expect the Suns to go this far?
Newman replied to Sun Tzu's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
I didn't believe that any team in the playoffs could've swept the Spurs, but the Suns proved me wrong. -
Bulls expected to fire Del Negro by Tuesday
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
They better have someone good lined up already or else I will be [expletive]ing pissed.
