Do You Really Care About The 5th Seed?
Newman replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
With how well the Bucks are playing and how tough the Bulls' future schedule will be, 6th seed doesn't seem too hard to get. I am not saying the Raptors should lose on purpose or anything, but 6th seed does seem like a likely result. -
I would keep Melo and Westbrook. As for Chandler, try and explore other trade options, J.R might be able to help you at times but he is a bit too inconsistent with his 3's.
-
Would love to see him with the Lakers.

LJ6. Doesn't really work as well as LJ23.

Hasheem Thabeet scores 19 in D-League;Lester Hudson debuts
Newman replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Not bad. I wish he can cut his fouls and turnovers though. He is not going to get much PT if he gets 3 fouls in 10 mins in an NBA game. -
Blazers expected to sign Diener
Newman replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Haven't seen him in action for a while. I hope he is still a good 3-point shooter at least. -
I am thinking those offers were probably just to take advantage of Nets' disaster season and are probably just salary dumps. No team is going to be stupid enough to offer a borderline all star to one of the worst teams in the history.
-
That's horrible. I can't believe such a simple issue can cause that much problems.

Is Andray Blatche the best big man in the NBA?
Newman replied to kingfish's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I didn't mean the league history. I meant in the NBA at the moment. I am guessing the stats of 25-10 are the stats he can give if he plays 100%, so I don't see why those stats can't match up with other big men around the league at the moment. -
Looking Back, What Was The Best Move Of The Summer?
Newman replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Definitely signing Jack. He give the Raptors a safe option when Calderon isn't playing well. -
Sick Move on Birdman by Steph. Curry
Newman replied to MainEv3nt's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
That's a great move. Birdman got owned. It also reminds me of Derrick Rose's move on Al Horford last year. -

If he focuses on playing 100% every game, then he will be second to Howard. -
Grizzlies send Thabeet to Development League
Newman replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
I guess they drafted him that high because they didn't want another PG to fight for minutes with Conley. Still, I predict a bright future for this guy, just need a bit of time. -
6 wins at the moment.

Really liking the additions of Flip and Warrick for the Bulls now...Flip is a much more aggresive scorer comparing to Salmons and Warrick doesn't seem to be much different to Tyrus Thomas.
-
No surprise there. Z is loyal to the Cavs and I never thought that he will re-sign with any other team.
-
What direction does he feel the team is going.

Josh Howard Out For Season With Torn ACL

Talk about bad luck. Now the Wiz only have 10 players avaliable. -
same same.

Is T-Mac still playing in this game despite limping vs Bucks?

Leon Powe Debuts Tomorrow
Newman replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Big Z's heart always lie with the Cavs. That's what happens when you stay with a team for most of your career. But back to the topic, Powe give them another body to throw against Howard, if he gets PT which seems unlikely at the moment given the talent in the Cavs roster. -
Not in order except for the first 2... 1. Heard 'Em Say 2. Touch the Sky 3. Heartless 4. Love Lockdown 5. Good Life 6. Can't Tell Me Nothing 7. Homecoming 8. Stronger 9. All Falls Down 10. Amazing

Right on target. They practically lost a starting 2-guard in exchange for money. No leader of any team is going to be happy about that. To a guy like Deron whose main objective is to win, losing someone like Ronnie Brewer in the middle of the season isn't something that will help the team.

I personally don't believe that he will break MJ's record, but to get to the current number of 25+ games is a fantastic achievement for a young player already.
