  1. Thunder will because they have a scoring machine in Durant and great role players. Bobcats will because they are in the East. Grizzlies might because the West are filled with talented teams and that I just don't see the Grizzlies being able to break past them. They'll come close though.
  2. Yeah teams all tank in a way to get their player. Cavs' roster that year was just the worst I've seen in all my years though so it makes it extra obvious that they're tanking.
  3. Sundiata Gaines looked like the signing of the year up to date.
  4. This game reminds me of why I love this game.
  5. Amazing game. Sundiata Gaines must be cold blooded.
  6. Ok for some reason FRAPS doesn't work so it's up to me to review the games: 1. Kobe vs. LeBron Kobe missed a 3-pointer and LeBron starts off with possession. He quickly make use of his size advantage and power through to the lane 7 times until Kobe finally stopped him on his 8th attempt. Kobe responds with a dunk but is blocked by LeBron the very next possession. As Kobe become more adapted to LeBron he started playing better defence by making it harder for LeBron to go in the lane. However, LeBron keeps using his power to muscle through and score. Final result: 2-21 (no joke) LeBron's shot-chart: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh103/w1rri0r/LeBronvsKobe-LBJsstats.gif Kobe's shot-chart: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh103/w1rri0r/LeBronvsKobe-Kobesstats.gif From this it's pretty clear to see that LeBron made use of his power and attacked the basket whenever possible. Kobe did too, but whenever he couldn't capitalize on the chance LeBron would grab the rebound. 2. Dwight vs Yao At the start it was hard for both sides to get inside until Yao finally got past Howard for a dunk. Then I couldn't bare to watch as both sides started bombing 3s (Thank you 2K!)and couldn't sink any. So I left it at 1-0 to Yao. Just something worth noting though, Dwight tried stealing the ball everytime Yao try to shoot and Yao makes it hard for Dwight just to get past the perimeter. 3. KG vs Duncan Once again, this game was ruined by 2K. However, before I got pissed and quitted the game, KG went more inside while Duncan was more willing to shoot jumpers. However, this should be due to the fact that everytime Duncan went for a lay-up or hook shot it would've been swatted away. I left it at 6-4 to Duncan.
  7. 1. Tough call, but I am going to go with LeBron. He is just more powerful going into the lane and without help defence Kobe will have a hard time containing him 2. Yao, his height helps him A LOT when scoring and defending and grabbing rebounds. 3. Duncan, he is just better in almost every aspect at the moment. Maybe I should do these 3 match-ups with 2K10 and post the result.
  8. I am gonna go by last year's format with 9 players per team. Rookie: PG: Jennings SG: Evans SF: Casspi PF: Gibson C: Blair Subs: Lawson, Curry, Harden, Flynn (It's really hard to leave out any of the PGs) Sophs: PG: Rose SG: Mayo SF: Beasley PF: Thompson C: Lopez Subs: Westbrook, Gordon, Hibbert, Speights Sophs will own the heck outta Rookies with my line-up so I reckon Steph Curry and/or James Harden will be out for some big guy and DeRozan.
  9. Not a bad way to refresh the Slam Dunk Competition.
  10. Melo is the best small forward in low post scoring. Durant may have a sweet J but he has more trouble scoring inside than Melo does. And since Melo can shoot the outside as well, I am going to go with Melo.
  11. Blair became a beast after the Spurs decide to rest Duncan for the game. 28 points + 21 rebounds.
  12. All will be forgiven if he puts up at least 15 points and 10 rebounds next season.
  13. I got the PC version and we still haven't got a patch yet. It really blows when you hold a 4-point lead till the end then the comp intentionally foul you (but no call), nail a 3 and then a jumper to win the game. I am not sure about 360 or PS3 version, but the PC version is pretty glitched up without the patch so I can't imagine how bad it will be if the patch stuff it up even further.
  14. Where does Kwame Brown,Darko,Dajuan Wagner,Jay Williams and all these other busts come into the picture if V.C and his career 23.5 points is the biggest underachiever of all-time?
  15. Also because NBA is a players' league. First go coaches, then go players. Not to mention that more money has to be paid in order to buy out any player who didn't breach their contract...and paying out million of $$ while getting nothing back hurts.
  16. He certainly play more like a center than Channing Frye in the Suns' line-up.
  17. I personally think that Joe Dumars drafted Austin Daye as a replacement for Prince as they are so similiar. No doubt he'll be traded but the problem is who will take him.
  18. Usually I can't be bothered but if I am in a very bad mood, yes.
  19. George Hill played fantastic. Great D despite losing some height against Kobe.
  20. The only difference I would make would be that I would pick Josh Smith over Mo Williams as I believe that Josh Smith has improved more with the Hawks than Mo Williams has improved more with the Cavs. I admit that this decision could be affected by my anti-cavs mind though.
  21. It's great to see an efficient scorer early in a player's career. The problem with some rookies/sophs are that they don't know what are good shots and what are bad shots and while passing could lead to a shot that would go in 80-90% of the time, they would decide to shoot a shot that would go in 50-60% of the time and that lead to less playing time. To get rid of that problem is great news and Gordon has a bright future ahead of him. Off topic but sad to see D.J scoring drop to just a mere 5.7 points and that he is not making the most out of his shots.
  22. His contract is expiring anyway so not much harm done to the Kings. At least he give them another center to use.
  23. Dam shame. He successfully transformed from an athletic player to one of the best shooters in the league but now he can't get away from injury. I would say his career is essentially done, unfortunately.
  24. I doubt they are going to trade Wright as he is a vital part of their future. I think that they would more likely trade James Jones (4.3 mil) or one of the other swingmen they have in Daequan Cook and Y.Diawara.
