Ass beating. Lillard was incredible and couldnt miss. Def needed Parker

All hail the Punisher Brace!!!!!!

Im not worried about the top of the west tbh any seeding will do. Im more concerend on how long it will take TP to get back into game shape once he does come back. The silver lining is that Corey Joseph should start in place of TP in his absence. I think this kid will cement himself as the back up pg before the PO.
-
Normally the rotations would have been shortened by now but injuries have not allowed that to happen. Even more so now that TP is out 3-4 weeks. Hopefully when the PO roll around Blair and Bonner dont see the court. Also look out for this Corey Joseph kid, he should and probably will be Parkers back up going forward.

I really don't see how Manu has lost a "huge step". Before his injury he was actually playing very well. He's just now rounding back into form. Wes Matthews is also not the better player. Manu leads in all statistical categories except PPG and 3p fg% all while playing 11 less minutes per game. Matthews 15 PPGto Manus 12.4, and Wes' 39 3P% to manu's 373p% Manu doesn't start but he finishes games with Parker, and that is what matters. That tandem is at least better than half of the back court duos you listed.

Wasn't pretty without Parker, but i'll take being 7-2 on the rodeo road trip.

Lillard and Wesley [expletive]ing Mathews? Or Williams and JJ

Parker and Ginobili.

Jordan: Current players that would be effective in my era
Finch23 replied to Finch23's topic in General NBA Discussion
Id take Steve Kerr over a lot of role players in todays NBA. Kerr was a great 3 point shooter who could hit big shots in crunch time. -
Unless Parker goes down with an injury there is no way the Spurs finish with the 2nd seed. San antonios schedule in the 2nd half is super easy and they only have like 6 or 7 road games.
-
Edit nvm

Tony Parker was lights out last night. No offense to the Clips fans here, but I still don't see the Clippers beating San Antonio in a 7 game series.

Did you like the new All-Star Weekend format?
Finch23 replied to Real Deal's topic in NBA All-Star Weekend
The dunk contest needs to go for a few years. Hell everything should go for a few years aside from the AS game which could just be done on Sunday. This shit is almost as bad as the Pro bowl. -
I'm glad All Star weekend is over with. Now we can get back to real ball. Let's go Spurs

2013 NBA All-Star Game (Sun, 8:30 PM ET)

Not a bad all star game, and I usually hate All star weekend in general. Sad that the actual game had better dunks than the dunk contest -
2013 Foot Locker 3-Point Contest (Sat, 8:30 PM ET, 3rd event)

2013 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge (Fri, 9 PM ET)
Finch23 replied to Real Deal's topic in NBA All-Star Weekend
Got to go with team Chuck. Leonard all day. -
His late scoring surge started after the fact that Miami had a sizeable lead and Lebron let up on the defensive pressure a bit. James in the early stages of the game shut KD down.

JORDAN PLAYS his new favorite trivia game, asking which current players could be nearly as successful in his era. "Our era," he says over and over again, calling modern players soft, coddled and ill-prepared for the highest level of the game. This is personal to him, since he'll be compared to this generation, and since he has to build a franchise with this generation's players. "I'll give you a hint," he says. "I can only come up with four." He lists them: LeBron, Kobe, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki. As he's making his point, Yvette walks into the living room area and, in a tone of voice familiar to every husband who argues sports with his buddies, asks, "You guys need anything?" http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/page...-left-building Can't say i don't agree. interesting how he labels most current players soft but has Dirk (who was once known for being soft) in his list of 4. How do you guys feel about him leaving KG off the list. What other players do you think could have "success" in the Jordan era?

I also find it funny how OKC fans have the balls to chant "refs you suck", when this is the same treatment they get against every other team.
-
Not really. I didnt really say anything that isnt true. Oklahoma has meth problem, and the Thunder just dont match up well with the Heat. I will admitt my hate for Westbrick and Lebroom is 100% legit.
-
The Heat are such a horrible match up for Methlahoma. It would suck to watch another OKC vs Heat finals.
