No, not really. Parker turned the ball over twice in OT and missed two easy open jumpers. Manus last second attempt was jyst very good defense from the Grizz. I do have a huge problem with Pop going to Danny Green for clutch 3 pointers. Why consistently draw up plays for this guy when you have more clutch 3 point shooters on the team.

Good game, Grizz played some solid D down the stretch. Spurs missed to many easy shots in OT. Should have won that......

I just don't see how they are over rated tbh. Granted I'm a homer, but they are clearly better then they were last year (especially defensively). Not to mention IMO the Spurs match up better with OKC now that Harden is gone. He pretty much destroyed us last year. The Knicks game that you were referring to the Spurs played 4 games in 5 nights and that happened to be the 2nd night of a back 2 back. I wouldn't put much stock in that game. What other games have you watched? The Spurs don't get much national media attention, and the only team that we have really struggled against is the Clippers. Spurs are one of the very few teams in the league that actually have a chance at a title. Chances are slim, but they still are in that category.

The Spurs slept walked in the 2nd half, if you honestly thought that was 100% effort out there you are being delusional. Look how long Duncan, Parker and the starters sat in the 2nd half. They didn't come back until LA started making their run in the 4th with what 4 minutes left?

This game is exactly the reason why the Spurs SHOULD have sat their starters. 4 games in 5 nights and you could clearly see that the Spurs were tired. Oh well, daddy Stern got his wish. I hope he enjoyed the boring blowout game.

Now you're probably wondering how I mentioned the words elite defense yet the Bucks dropped 110 on us. Spurs had this game wrapped up in the third quarter up by close to 30. Pop then decided to go with his shit team of Bonner and Blair and they single handedly brought the Bucks back into the game. So much so that Tim, Tony, and manu had to come back in and finish up. Props to the Bucks for not giving up, but Blair and Bonner are so horrible.

Spurs defense is slowly turning elite again. With Leonard and Tiago in the starting line up the Spurs have been a defensive power house. Sure its a small sample size, but I havent seen the Spurs play this good defensively in years.

Actually this Spurs team is the best ive seen defensively since 2007. Not a coincidence that Timmy is playing like its 2007
