Very interesting, I'll be looking forward to seeing the forward. The fact that Novak is on par with Tony and Manu is pretty hilarious though. What this stat doesn't show is that Novak only gets garbage playing time in blowouts...

Might as well make a Lakers vs Blazers/Mavs game thread
-
Who is going to be the 2nd and 3rd options for Dallas?? JET? (lol) Dirk will be able to carry Dallas to a couple of wins, but I have Portland in 6. To much fire power for the Blazers IMO.

GM1: Denver at Oklahoma City

Thunder in 5 -
Manu Facebook/Twitter Post "MRI showed an elbow sprain (Ulnar collateral ligament). I'm doubtful 4 sunday. Hope to make it. The pain is almost gone. Thx!" Great news!!! Even if he does miss game 1, he'll be back for 2 for sure.
-
This ^^^^ although I have a strange feeling Manu will play anyway. As for the Grizzlies, if Manu doesn't play and they lose that is going to KILL their confidence.
-
Lakers once again get a cake walk to the WCF....
-
Grizzlies are trash, most over rated team in awhile. Anyway I originally said the Spurs in 5, I'll stick with that if Manu only misses 1 game. As of right now Manu is doubtful for game 1 :( :(. Pop is a [expletive]ing moron for micro managing minutes all year and then playing the starters in game 82 and having Manu go down. FML we have horrible [expletive]ing luck.

Man I would love to see the Hornets win this game! LAL would get a bye in the first round, but that would mean OKC would move out of the Spurs bracket and we could potentially see a OKC vs Lakers semi!!!!! Wow that would be awesome.

2011 NBA Summer League Canceled
Finch23 replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NBA Discussion
Without the summer league, there wouldn't be players like Gary Neal...... -
It happened twice tonight. Pop benches Dice,Manu, Parker, and Duncan. Main reason is because the Spurs would rather face OKC in the 2nd round then have LA fall to that bracket. Memphis did it as well, they want the Spurs in round 1... I'm sure the players know what's going on...
-
I really dont see why everyone is so high on Memphis. They are a good team no doubt but they are not ready for the big stage. Hell do they even have anyone on that roster that has played an NBA playoff game? Let alone upset the Spurs when they have HCA or the defending champions? People seem to forget the Spurs have only lost 5 games at home and at least 1 of those games 1 or more of the big three didn't play. Whether it's LA or SA that series goes 5 MAX. Not even Dallas could choke away that series with HC. Portland/Denver could beat Dallas (still don't think it happens), but I highly doubt they beat the Lakers....

Make a bold statement for the playoffs
Finch23 replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
It will be the number 1 and 2 seed in both conference championships... -
It seems to me like the Grizz are tanking....
-
Didn't Bynum say he's going to be fine?
-
I honestly would be very shocked to see Spurs go all out. Like I said before, a Spurs win would be a bad thing IMO. I don't want to take the chance of LA falling to 4 and having a potential 2nd round matchup with them.
-
Dammit Houston!!!!!!
-
That's exactly why....
-
If I was the Spurs I would rest up at least 1 of the big three (Manu). Plus with the Lakers losing the last 5 games the last thing SA wants is LA falling to the 4th seed. Lakers win this game.
-
Let's go Rockets!!!!!!
-
Its possible that the Lakers fall all the way to number 4, but I don't really see that happening. However if Dallas choke away number 3 to OKC (which they probably will) a second round match-up of LA and OKC is going to be really fun to watch.
-
Dammit Chicago lose a game :-P
-
Lakers you better not [expletive] up and fall to number 3..... I don't want to see you guys in round 2 :(
-
If I was a Laker fan the only player I'm really concerened with heading into the playoffs is Steve Blake. Fisher will up his defensive intensity, and I'm sure he will hit a big shot or two. Artest was huge in last years playoffs and I'm sure he'll make an impact again as well.
-
Spurs about to clinch the West. Man Dallas is only 1 game up on OKC for that 3 seed. A first and second round of Portland and OKC (assuming they win) for the Lakers would be brutal!!!
