  1. I wonder how long it is going to take for Pop to realize that Blair is better off coming off the bench.... Splitter needs to get more PT as he is our best P N R defender.
  2. God I hate the Mavs..... RJ and Parker played like dog [expletive].
  3. Going to be a tough game that's for sure. I really really hope Pop starts Mcdyess ahead of Blair. Last year Dice was able to do a solid job of "containing" Dirk. Duncan is too slow, and Blair will get eaten alive by him or Chandler. I'll also be curious to see if Splitter gets any playing time against Chandler. Tiago had a really good game against him in the Worlds. No Roddy B yet I assume? That will mean JJ the troll will go all MJ on our [expletive] like he normally does.
  4. Lol, the funny thing is that Duncan later in in an interview said Crawford wanted to fight. That ejection was [expletive]ing terrible though, and it costs us a higher seed I believe......
  5. Udoka sucks Big time, he was terrible on offense and defense in his last stint with us (he shot 28% from 3 last year), he has got older so I don't see how he is going to be any better on defense either. He hustles, but his lack of athleticism really holds him back against most 3s. Don't like this signing at all, hopefully it's just insurance until James Anderson returns.
  6. Beasley had some really Bone head plays in the 4th. He's a great talent but his BB IQ is questionable. As for the Spurs, great come from behind win. Manu was awesome in the 4th and SA showed a lot of heart. They lose this game easily last year. BTW Blair is not a starter, and it seems like he is in the dog house. Splitter needs to start and play 20-25 minutes a game.
  7. I'm really not trying to argue that Fisher is a better player over Mcgrady because that is asinine, what I am trying to say is that from what I saw and remember in big games on the road Mcgrady shot his team to a loss. Kobe, AI, Pierce, Duncan ETC all have bad shooting nights IN the PO's but it seemed like T-Mac was a guarantee to have at least 2 games in the post season where IMo he cost the Rockets/Magic the game with his shooting and or other mistakes. Maybe i'll go back and try to watch some of these games and try and re-evaluate my opinion......

  9. Yup and Britney Spears is better than Madonna. Coldplay is a very talented band (that makes music that I think sucks), but they are no where near as popular, talented, or influential as The Beatles. Nor will they ever be. I think it's pretty safe to say without "The Beatles" there would be no Coldplay....
  10. Go through the [expletive]ing scanner or get a pat search, Its for everyones security..... I highly doubt they are thrilled about seeing all these fat asses in thier underwear but it has to be done.
  11. So as I am typing this Gasol has his shot blocked, misses a shot, has a turnover, and fails to box out Noah and allows him to et an easy tip in.
  12. I'm not going to argue with you considering you watch more Lakers basketball than I do by a mile, but I just turned on the game and Gasol's stat line isn't too shabby at all. 9 points 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals and 4 blocks..?
  13. December championships FTW!!!!! Ok well like I said it all depends on the situation on which player you take, in my post I should of made it clear that i was talking about the Spurs. Your'e right Mcgrady did put up some solid stats in the playoffs. Mcgrady was a regular season hero when healthy (Half-man, Half A season), but when it came down to "the big game" he would shoot his team to death. I remember very well the game 7 in Dallas after the Rockets had a 2-0 lead. Mcgrady still had like 25 points or something like that but he shot it like 25+ times. Most of those attempts were bad and ill advised. Yao actually played pretty well in that game as I recall as well. Or how about his 7-24 shooting night when he was with the Magic against Detroit (also game 7). He had 21 points but again it was the same story, he shot his team in the foot with bad shots. Flashforward one year against Utah, Rockets lead 2-0. (Game 3) Mcgrady shot 9-23, I won't blame him too much because his bench sucked that game. Game 4.... Mcgrady 6-19 shooting. game 6..... Mcgrady 8-23 shooting. You can blame the supporting cast I guess, but when games really mattered and the Rockets needed a win T-Mac would have a bad shooting night. It's not like it's a fluke either, it happened almost every year. There is a reason this guy has never been out of the first round. On the other hand Derek Fisher may have played with some of the all time greats, but when his team needed a big time shot he would come through regardless if it was in the regular season, or in a crucial game in the playoffs.
  14. It honestly depends on the situation and who is surrounding these players. Would I rather have a Tracy Mcgrady or a Derek Fisher? Give me Fish Face any day of the week. I would much rather have Fishers clutch play in close games, than Mcgrady choking when it counts. (I think these two players are a fair comparison on the description given).
  15. Meh Chris Paul seems to be like the general consensus vote, but I still think up to this point it's Pau Gasol. I don't care about records right now, the Lakers are still the best in the West and Pau Gasol has been playing incredible.
  16. Bulls hands down, the Phoenix one is turrible....
  17. IMO it's got to be Houston. Many thought this team was going to be able to contend for thier division. (myself not included) Even with Yao getting limited minutes I thought they would be doing better than they are. I also didn't expect Yao to go down so early though....
  18. All time- Michael Jordan or David Robinson Now- Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili. I like to swim in the ocean and I know Timmy loves the water so we could surf or something. Contrary to what people think Manu is said to be extremely laid back and chill. It's a shame that so many hate him, because he really is a good guy and does a lot for the city of San Antonio.
  19. I wouldn't even say Dwight is a extremely good defender either. His help defense is excellent, but he hasn't been to impressive on his PnR defense.
  20. I don't know if Dwight Howard is a WAY better offensive player than he was last year, he has improved though.
