  1. You have to feel for this young man, just can't catch a break at all. Does anyone know if its the same knee he's had prior problems with, or is this a fresh injury on his other knee?
  2. What is that? Is that like matching members against each other, and have others vote on who they like? You can start a thread to see if others like the idea, but in all honesty that would probably turn into a popularity contest.

  3. Good win. Phil's going to have to talk to the second unit (well, more like the third unit) about staying within the offense. They got a little too sloppy out there at the end.
  4. Yeah, don't worry about writing articles. We just installed the new blogging system here, so go take advantage of that.

  5. It's about 89% Catholic, which is still high, but other countries are higher. Dominican Republic is at 95%. When I talked to a lot of people in the streets and parks about their religious background, most claimed to be Catholic. A few were non-religious, and even though I didn't see any, I guess there is a growing Muslim population over there as well.
  6. Probably won't see it in theaters, but I can't wait to pick up the Blu-ray once it comes out. How long will it be between parts one and two?
  7. Will he remain hot like this all season? Probably not, but as long as he stays within the offense and remains consistent he'll be fine. I only saw a few minutes of the game last night, but I wasn't too concerned about losing this one.
  8. Nope, no word requirements or limits. :)

  9. ...and you'll pretty much be in. Definitely remind me about it though, because I might forget. ;)

  10. If you're interested, write about something (say an article on Byron Scott), and post it in the appropriate related to the article (in this case the Cavs forum). Stay active like that, and provide contribution (quality, not quantity!), and you're pretty much in. We don't really have any requirements other than what I stated, so just stay at it and within a week or two (likely so...

  11. Way too many turnovers, and not effort in the basics, like boxing out. Still, we were able to survive Phoenix's onslaught of 3's, just couldn't get over the hump. We definitely missed Steve Blake's presence out there. Hope he feels better soon.
  12. Missions trip, taught English for a couple of weeks. I was also in Kraków for a few days, and that was close to being my top pick. I didn't care for the humidity or all the tourists, though. Still an amazing city.
  13. Szczecin, Poland - Gorgeous port city that borders Germany and the Baltic Sea. It's a huge city, and you can tell by the buildings and cobble-stone streets that it's very old, yet retains it's beauty. Weather is wonderful during the summer, which makes being outside there a treat. Huge parks, many sites of interest, and the people, most especially the people there, make it one of my favorite cities to visit. Can't wait to go back.
  14. We're pretty easy on baiting and such here, as long as its not overboard. If you're going to take a jab at a team/fanbase/player, at least try to include reasons behind it. For example: "The Knicks are a terrible franchise. Here's why: 1. Reason 2. Reason 3. Reason 4. Reason Ect, ect, ect." Is that trolling? No, because at least you're including reasons for your argument/opinion. Kingfish, you didn't include any reasoning in your original post. You were straight up trolling. Don't do that. With that out of the way, let's get back on topic please.
  15. I'm registered as an independent, though my political views favor towards being conservative/libertarian. For these mid-term elections, I voted for more libertarians than republicans. I even voted for a democrat or two. Point is, I vote for who I think is the best fit for office, and I don't let a party influence me in that decision. With me being in California though, all my votes were pretty much in vain. Sucks, but what can you do about it.
  16. Kobe's triple-double came so effortlessly, it seemed. Our defense wasn't as sharp tonight, but I guess that's to be expected on the tail end of a back-to-back. I'm also loving how great our chemistry is right now, especially with Blake and Barnes coming off the bench. They're doing great considering how early in the season it is. 5-0!
  17. I'd figure that Jerry Brown would win, but it makes me incredibly depressed to see that Boxer won. She's so useless.
  18. Welcome aboard! Looking forward to some great basketball discussion with ya. I know our resident Grizzlies fan will be thrilled to have another fan around. :glasses:
  19. If you have a Wii, you should get the Resident Evil remake for it. It's the first game, but completely redone graphic wise for the Wii, and it looks amazing. Probably the scariest game I've seen (watched my little brother play through it).
  20. He told reporters he was 100% so they can stop asking how his knee is. He HATES talking about his injuries, and I think he finally just had enough of it. I'd say he's about 90% right now. Still missing some lift and lateral movement, but he's getting there.
  21. Hmmm. These aren't really in order, too hard to rate them, but here's my top ten. 1. Final Fantasy VI 2. World of Warcraft 3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 4. Assassin's Creed II 5. Super Smash Bros. Melee 6. StarCraft 7. Pokemon Yellow 8. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 9. Final Fantasy X 10. Goldeneye 007
  22. The Raptors are showing a nice stretch of defense, making the Cavs work hard every offensive possession. Also, the Raptors spacing on offense is good, allowing for some nice assists.
  23. I was super excited to hear that Daft Punk would be composing the soundtrack for the movie, and after hearing this bit I can't friggin' wait. The movie looks to be sick, and with this kind of music going with it....ahhhh.
  24. A couple of those offensive possessions were just horrendous though. Two of them within a short span resulted in air-balls/shot clock violations. Great win for Cleveland, and great the see the fans get behind their team like that.
