Day 1 Figured now would be a good time to make one of these. Wonder if I'll be able to keep up with it... I should be reading the endless number of psychology pages I have before me, but alas I am not. There's only so much I can read in one sitting...ok, so that's a lie but it gives me an excuse to procrastinate. Hoohah! Need to seriously fix my sleeping pattern, its starting to affect me. I don't fall asleep until after 3:00 AM, and don't get up until its past noon. It'd be one thing if I was drinking/partying all night, but I'm not...solutions to this problem would be helpful. Thinking getting a job might help with that. Problem is, the economy sucks, especially so in a small town like the one I live in. What few jobs are there are already taken. I might have to start looking outside my town, and into other areas. That means commuting, but honestly, I do already for everything else I do, so doing it for work wouldn't be so bad. At least I'd be getting paid for it. IF, I do find a job, it'd have to be part time. Between school, church/college group, friends, and...something else, I don't have a lot of time for a full time position. I suppose I could work full time, but besides the time factor, there's other reasons why I'd rather find part time work. I want to finish my degree by summer, and I can't do that if I'm working full time. Can't do that while I'm procrastinating either, but at least I can control that, somewhat. Also, there's something else that is going to occupy my time. Haven't told you guys this yet, except for Brandon, but I'm going somewhere over the summer. Poland, to be exact. I'm going to Poland. It's not a vacation, however. Can't have a vacation if I'm not working. I'll be a part of a missionary team that's going to work in a Christian summer camp over there. I'll be teaching English, and playing sports, since it's a sport camp. I am incredibly excited about it. I need to raise money for the trip, though, so the team will be doing a ton of fund raisers to help raise the money we need. I'd figure having a part time job would really help out with some of the costs, but I also need the time to attend the fund raisers and events we'll be doing. I guess I'll figure something out. But yea, Poland 2010. WOOOO! We have a team meeting planned for Sunday night, so we'll what happens. Need to start getting those fund raisers going pretty quick here, we need to have the money before May. I think we'll be fine, though. Between support letters and fund raisers, we should have everyone covered. In OTR news, I'm putting out a new episode of On The Air pretty soon. Expect it by Saturday or Sunday. Sunday at the latest, for sure.

I agree with Brandon about the living arrangement. When you live with others, respect is really important, so hopefully you'll be able to work things out with your family. I know it can be rough sometimes, especially since its family and not just room mates. Once you get your license, it's going to open up a whole new world for you. Even if you don't own a car, being able to drive on your own is huge. Its cool that you opened up to us like this, though. Definitely looking forward to future entries in here.

Incredible game by both Melo and LeBron, they played great. Missed free throws killed the Cavs, and Melo was hitting everything at the end of the game. His shot is amazingly accurate for such a quick release.

Memphis offered this? Why in the world did they offer that. Doesn't make sense to me on their end. Even more baffling is why Golden State rejected it. They should of taken this and ran.

To chime in, don't forget what Kobe did during the 2008 Summer Olympics, and during the gold medal game. He took the game over and sealed the deal for Team USA. Also, no other player has gone from one extreme to another. The rape allegations, the trial, the years after Shaq left and then finally redemption. I don't think there's as storied a player like Kobe out there in the past ten years.

I'd rather liked X-2, granted the story wasn't really good, but the combat was the gem of that game. It's one of my favorite FF combat systems, so much fun. XIII looks good, but I'm not sure if I'll pick it up. I have a terrible habit of getting halfway through my Final Fantasies and just stopping. VI, VIII, and X were my favorites.

Question: Does that last shot Kobe made count as a game winner? Pick and roll destroyed us, but we clawed our way back into it, and kept it close for Kobe to make the dagger. Awesome game. Also, Bynum put a grown man move on KG with that poster. He wasn't going to let KG run his mouth all the way down the court and not do anything about it. That's the kind of Drew we need all the time.

Shannon Brown had a couple of nice dunks this game, but that's about it. We kind of let them back in during the third quarter, but it didn't really matter in the end. Good way to start off a back-to-back, though...easy win.

Its a series of storms, so they're going to be short...but expect one or two more this week following the same pattern. I just hope its not quite as bad on Thursday, I'll be on the road traveling.

It's been raining all day where I live, and on the news there's been flooding and mudslides down in the valley and in L.A. There was also a tornado warning issued for parts of L.A for a short time. These storms hit hard and fast, so they dump a ton of rain and the storm drains back up really quickly. We're supposed to get another two storms like this this coming week, so we won't see any relief for a while.

Jim Buss isn't going to trade away Bynum, not after pushing for him hard in the draft, not after giving him that extension. While a trade like this would make sense, and I would do it, there's no way Jim Buss will on board for it. Bynum is his boy.
