Tons of people took pictures, so I'm sure they'll end up on Facebook later today sometime. When they do I'll post some fer sure. I also sung Scarecrow's "If I Only Had A Brain" in front of everyone there, and people were loving it. Definitely helped my chances for the costume contest, which I ended up winning 2nd place. All in all, great night.

Going to a party tonight, so yes, I will be dressing up. I'm going as Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. Made it myself, and it is so legit.

Bad game offensively, defensively, too many turnovers, and just plain ole out of sync. Dallas did a good job keeping it that way, kudos to them. Just a bad game, at the very least this will give the coaching staff plenty of ammunition for film tomorrow.

Wilkins with the offensive rebound and shot for the game winner, wow. What a heartbreaking loss for the Nets, they had a decent lead with such little time left, and they couldn't hold on. What a first win for Rambis and his Wolves.
-
Nice job by Harris on the drive, but there's still a ton of time for the Wolves to score. Nets need to come up with a stop to try and send this to overtime. Game winner by Flynn coming up?
-
Big, big defensive stop for Minnesota. Jefferson with the block to stop the Nets from scoring. Flynn makes one of two free throws, and the Nets are down by two points. Let's see what Frank draws up.
-
Minnesota takes the lead! Flynn calmly nailed two critical free throws to take the lead. Hopefully they can hold on for the win.
-
The Hornets are making a little run here, trying to get back in this game. Okafor scored on three straight possessions, and now Peja just nailed a three. I doubt the Spurs would completely collapse, but in this league you never know. Let's see how the Spurs respond to this Hornets run.

Pacers have had so many turnovers, they really hurt themselves by it. Still, with 25 turnovers they're only down 10 points, but they are quickly running out of time.
-
Granger has only scored 6 points in the entire second half, he needs to get going here if the Pacers want to pull out a win. They're running out of time, and the Hawks are building on their lead.
-
Good close by the Raptors to end the quarter, now they just need to build on it when the 4th starts.

Russell Westbrook is doing a great job of controlling the flow of this game. He's setting up his team mates, shooting well, and his court awareness is high. Thunder end the first half with 68 points, and I know its against the Kings, but that's still impressive. -
If you have DirecTV, you can watch it on Fox Sports Ohio...they're letting customers preview NBA League Pass for free. Even though its still early, this Raptor squad is looking pretty good so far.
-
Magic look good, they keep lighting it up from outside. Vince is fitting into the offense very nicely.
-
Well, there are some rumors floating around that Rip Hamilton could be traded. I wonder if Cleveland would be willing to put something together to try and get him, even though their season just started. He would be a great fit in Cleveland.
-
Doesn't look too good for Minnesota right now, but hey at least you guys are playing at home tonight. Maybe that will help things out a little.

Updated after tonight's games. I won't have them re-arranged to show the poster with the highest score until after this weeks Pick and Roll is completely finished. Some of you made quite a few more points because of your activity in the game day threads, which is great. If you want to earn more points be sure to post good, substantial posts in those threads, it can really make the difference in your score. Oh, and did I mention that the winner at the end of the season gets a prize? So yeah, be sure to post and play.

Yeah man, Dr. Buss will spare no expense to show off the bling. I can't even imagine how much just one would cost, let alone the twenty or so rings they had made.

What I meant was that he didn't have to exert himself to get those points. It came within the flow of the game. -

Good win for us on opening ring night. We had some struggles, but we did our business and pulled it out. We gave up way too many second chance rebounds and points, we need to clean that up. We missed Pau's presence tonight in the paint in that regard. Kaman did a pretty good job keeping the ball alive for the Clippers, gave them some nice second chance opportunities. Bynum played great, despite some defensive lapses here and there. So happy to see him doing well out there on the floor. Artest looked great in his debut, didn't try to do too much and just let the game come to him. Struggled a bit with his 3-point shot, but he was beasting down on the block. Loving his offensive and defensive court awareness. Odom had a great game as well, and his outside shot has improved. He's been lighting it up from 3-point range all preseason long, and it continued tonight. Kobe looks REFRESHED. He put up an easy 33 points tonight, and he was able to conserve his energy throughout the game. Got a feeling that another regular season MVP is along the way for him. The ring ceremony was awesome, and seeing that banner made me a bit teary eyed. All in all, great night. -
Thank you for playing Pick and Roll! This week is now closed, all scores will be tallied after each appropriate game and the scoreboard will be updated accordingly. Next week's game will be up tomorrow.

Great hustle on that block by LeBron, Cavaliers are playing with a lot more heart and intensity than the Celtics right now.
-
Shaq's looking good so far, making his presence felt inside. Celtics need to settle down a bit and run their offense.
