  1. I'm really hoping the T'wolves do well, I want to see Rambis succeed.
  2. I'll be cheering for the Yankees in this, since I've always liked Jeter. Hopefully they'll crush those Phillies.
  3. That tripping call that cost Minnesota a TD was bogus. Tripping? The guy got tackled. Tough break for the Vikes, though they did a pretty good job hanging with the Steelers. Game could of gone either way at the end there.
  4. Topics of this nature are more suited for the Random thread. Please use that.

  6. For their special team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2msmYpNXic&feature=subtivity
  7. San Diego mostly, although they have their fans in L.A as well.
  8. When I saw "locked up", I thought you meant like contract wise. Guess not.
  9. PG - Fisher SG - Kobe SF - Artest PF - Odom C - Bynum (if he's still out, Mbenga) We'll be fine, Pau should get his rest while he can.
  10. Yeah, it's got a nice ring to it. :glasses:
  11. Great job on locking him up for a while, he will definitely be a huge (haha, literally) part to this team's success.
  12. Well, not just paperwork, but he's got to worry about the image of the league as well. His pay is on par with other commissioners as well. Roger Goodell makes $11 million per year. Stern does put it in a lot of hard work though, so that $10 million range seems justifiable to me.
  13. For people who do decide to do this, when you film yourself be sure to write something down to read off to the camera. I didn't, and I ended up sounding like a blathering idiot. Don't be like me. Wali, I'm going to get this off of my camera and sent to you in some form, hopefully in the next few hours here.
  14. Yeah, I'll agree that his salary is fine considering how much paper work he probably has to go through. I would imagine it's a pretty stressful position.
  15. I must have been out of it or something, because I swore he was doing half-decent against us...haha. Do you think Don Nelson's idea of playing them both at the same time is wise, or should he just bring Curry in for Monta and let him run the second unit?
  16. How about... All Day NBA Eh? I know it's the name of your blog Brandon, but it does have a nice ring to it.
  17. And Baron Davis looks pretty rejuvenated this preseason, so if he's penetrating early and often we could be down early in this game if we're not careful.
  18. I like what Frank is doing. He has very young team on his hands, and making defense the team's focus is a good step in the right direction. There will be plenty of offensive opportunities for this team, especially with Harris blazing up the court, so making your team's niche a scrappy defensive team is a good idea by Frank.
  19. Yeah, as long as he doesn't try to do too much offensively I think things will work out. He can use his athleticism to his advantage on the offensive end, and just focus on playing defense for the time being.
  20. If Granger keeps improving, and if Mike Dunleavy a can stay healthy for the whole season, they'll make it in. I really think they would have made it last year had Mike stayed healthy.
  21. We used to rent from our local brick and mortar store, but then we switched to Netflix. Pretty happy with it so far, I'd like to try out the streaming thing you can do with XBL.
  22. When he played his first couple of games against the Lakers, he was scoring all over the floor, and he looked really comfortable out there. Has his shot fallen off that quickly, or is it just a problem with the Warriors getting him the ball in his spots?
  23. When I saw Blake getting ready to go up, I knew it was going to be bad. DJ should of just gotten out of the way.
  24. I feel bad for Kurt. It's going to be difficult enough with this being his first year as a head coach, but to have a young team with injuries makes the whole deal worse. Hopefully Al can get some rest and come back strong, last thing he needs is to have a nagging injury all season long.
