Toronto Raptors 2010 Draft Discussion
Flight replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Orton seems like a total bust to me... idk about Cole, but IMO he'd be a better fit for a big. idk if it'd be smart to draft another SG/SF... personally I think the need is at PF/C unless a PG like Bledsoe seems to be worth that high of a pick. -
I better get the next KIR, never had one on here 1. Why is Smitty so amazing? 2. Why are you so amazing? 3. Is Paul George the real deal? 4. Is Brandon the real deal?

Coach Nick give his insight on how to stop Kobe
Flight replied to Years's topic in General NBA Discussion
I'm surprised he didn't suggest putting all 5 guys on him. Hell, he won't score if he's quintuple teamed. -
yeah text is kinda weak but i love the rest of it. jahvids gonna be the ROTY.

Just thought I'd get your opinions on this guy. He's UCLA's star in a sense, has kind of underperformed with his high expectations so far, but as a combo guard with a lengthy body and nice athleticism, I can see him being a late first rounder next year. What made me want to post this is that I got to meet him earlier this year with a few friends when he played at Oregon when we won in OT by 5. I went to talk to EJ Singler after the game and go to talk to him for a little, he seems like a pretty cool guy even after a loss. He kind of reminds me of a Courtney Lee type player (no relation that I know of, just happens to be similar, but a little more offensively focused than Lee). Anyway I was just thinking about that haha. Oh, and he just changed his Facebook status to "We gotta turn this around for Wooden..." This dude might not seem like it during a game but he's a real class act from what I've seen. Student of the game too.

A couple things I've noticed through some research, and seeing him in the WAC a little bit this year. He shot under 70% free throws his freshman year, but 91% last year. Shows he can focus on something in the offseason and improve a ton. Also shows how pure his shot is, it looks a little weird but he repeats it so well that he's a lights out shooter. He's kind of a turnover machine, but FS had to feed him constantly so a lot of the time the ball was in his hands, and he had to create for others a little bit too. So I doubt he'll still be at the 3 TOPG range, but he needs to cut those down. He said he sees himself as a SG... sorry bud but at 6'9", you're probably going to be a SF. He might swing both positions but either way, he's a stud and wherever he's taken he's gonna be worth it.

yeah this dudes for real. i think he's gonna be a stud in the league

Check ESPNs home page. Classy move, they took off all scores, news, etc. and devoted it to Wooden.

so basically, any number you pick gets doubled, making it even... then you add 5 to make it odd. multiply by 50 and the last number is 50. so then you add either 59 or 60, and walla... 2010 (or 2009 if you havent had your birthday yet, so your last birthday was that year) then you subtract your birth year to make it a surefire way to get your age in years. its weird until you realize you're a retard for trying to figure out how much you fap.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Wiz draft JW. Talks of Gilbert leaving town have surfaced, and I personally think he's either gonna be out of town to start the season, or he's gonna be playing the 2. With that said, you all have your opinions but regardless, predict John Wall's rookie stats. I think he's gonna be as good as advertised. 82 games started (a rare feat... I think he can stay healthy, and as long as he is I think he'll start every game) 30-34 MPG 16-18 PPG 6-8 APG 1.5-2 SPG 3.5-4.5 RPG 1-2 TOPG Rookie of the Year
-
I think he doesn't realize that the Nets won't be trying to win the finals next year... I mean if LeBron and Bosh sign, then I'll change my story, but I think it's a development year. Dooling is a leader too, that has been neglected so far. Beasley, not so much. Still, stupid for the Heat to offer this IMO, they have PGs that can do a decent job.

Wolves - Warriors discussing Randolph deal
Flight replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Seems like a good fit. -
This. But start a franchise, you start with Lincecum. Jimenez has really impressed me this year, but I can't say he's the best pitcher in baseball just from 11 decisions. Yes, he's easily the best this year but Lincecum has proven himself, Jimenez hasn't yet.

Lee Putting Up 500 3-Point Shots Per Day
Flight replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
interesting. he does need to work on his D though, he's a great rebounder and a poor defender. if only he were solid in the post, he'd be a top 10 player in the league in more than just fantasy. -
I actually like this, good pace.

huh, kind of a letdown to me... the Jay track was nice, plus the others we've known about. Haven't given it a full listen yet but idk. Not what I was hoping for, wanted more rap and less singing.

Smoke and Drive... give it a listen.

I was gonna guess either D O double G or Sir Charles haha. Likely the latter.

We do work.

I meant to vote no on Carter, but yes on the rest. I feel like McGrady's scoring career gets him in, despite his lack of playoff success.

I think he's THE steal of the draft along with Bledsoe, even if he goes top 20. I also think Alabi, Elliot Williams, and (super sleeper) Dominique Jones will be very good rookies. Good mock, Damion James will never play PF btw, I think he'd be a SF/SG if anything, not SF/PF.
