I don't see anything special from Al-Farouq Aminu, Ed Davis also kind of seems like he'll be a solid 6th man but not much more (unless he puts on some major weight), while I think Greg Monroe and DeMarcus Cousins will be STUDS unlike some of you guys. Derrick Favors is a question mark with lots of potential, so idk about him.

I'll take the Nets... AIM is Kirby2K. I'm having internet trouble right now but I'll be on after I get that sorted out soon. Let's get this filled up. I would like a live draft but I understand if we can't. -
Things you are ashamed of being afraid of
Flight replied to SRV's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Females? Wait no we all fear them. Cynicism aside, flying [expletive] scares me if its in my ear haha. Gnarly bugs in your ears the worst. -
New Jersey gonna win #6! Devin Harris has 12 assists in the first half to go with 9 points, and Brook Lopez leading all scorers with 22 on 9-11 shooting. Rudy Gay already has 19 for the Grizz but they're down double digits at the half.

Stronger, Homecoming are my two favorites... but even songs like RoboCop have a special feeling to them. Thru the Wire is a classic.

Melo and Lebron - 2 best players in the game?
Flight replied to kingfish's topic in General NBA Discussion
Melo has solidified himself as a top 5 player for sure this year, but I think LeBron, Kobe, and Dwyane are still ahead of him by a little. I know Carmelo hit the game winner (a clutch, tough shot over LeBron, I saw it yes), but he isn't proven to be the closer that Wade has proven himself to be. LeBron and Kobe are both ahead of even Wade and Anthony by a fair bit IMO... If LeBron can get that killer instinct on a nightly basis and make those clutch shots to win games, then he'll take the crown as the NBA's best. Kobe isn't physically as gifted, but his ability to finish games nearly 100% of the time puts him ahead of Melo and for now, LeBron. I'd like to see LeBron keep up his triple-double style of play for a while... last year he did this too if I recall. He scored for the beginning of the season and dished a lot, but focused on himself. Then later on he got his teammates involved for a stretch of two or three weeks I think where he had a few triple-doubles and a bunch of close efforts. He's applying himself fully on boards, and definitely passing as much as he ever has in his career recently. His in the mode where he can't be stopped, but tonight his teammates didn't come up too big on defense, and he missed the shot when it counted. -
Sooooooooooo... I'm kinda back...ish. But Expect to see me once a month haha, the Kirby periods are coming.

Same thing I was gonna say about Mark Ingram. Nice though, looks good just fix that.

Do you personally know any college players?
Flight replied to Dash's topic in General NCAA Discussion
Wellllll... I know Kyle Singler. And EJ who plays for the Ducks, and is playing well as a freshman. Same with Mitch Singler, who plays for OSU football. Also Michael Harthun who plays basketball for Washington State. There's more, Matt Maurer who is a top baseball prospect, and a few golfers that are going pro... Oh one of the top 10 cross country runners in the country. I live in a good area for athletics. -
Should the Bucks match Sessions' offer?
Flight replied to Jenneral's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
yeah, but I don't see it happening. idk why not, but it seems like they don't want a good PG, someone that's better than Jennings will be for a while. -
Hell yes [expletive]a. Same thing.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how beautiful is Aaron Brooks? 2. Von Wafer? 3. Trevor Ariza? 4. Vlade Divac? Oh. 5. Smitty?

Does anyone have any good pics of him in a Vikings jersey? I want a game pic, him with the ball or going for a catch or something, the only one I've seen so far is him coming up short on the Favre pass from tonight's game. If you have one please post. Thanks.

This should be a sweep. I can see an argument for Courtney Lee due to his defense (something the Clippers lack terribly) but Gordon gives them more, and to have the foresight to draft Lee #7 would have been impossible.

Alright, if the 49ers win it I'll eat my truck. The Seahawks play in one of the weakest divisions in football. The offensive line is pretty good, Max Unger will prove to be one of the better centers in the league right away. Sean Locklear anchors the blind side. Sims, Wrotto, and Willis all improved last year and are not slouches. John Carlson had a great season last year, and with Housh, Burleson, and Branch, as well as rookie Deon Butler, the receiving core is much improved. Hasselbeck will actually be able to throw a pass and be confident someone will catch it. The run game isn't that of the Shaun Alexander glory days (and yes, I do mean days, they lasted about 150 days). The D line isn't as terrible as you make it sound, Cole isn't a legitimate starter but between Mebane inside, and Redding, Kerney, and another rookie U of O stud Nick Reed, they'll put enough pressure on the QB to make teams run more. As for the weak secondary, Marcus Trufant and Ken Lucas are very weak? Josh Wilson is a good coverage corner, and Travis Fisher will surprise the people that didn't follow the Lions. Kelly Jennings adds more depth to what IMO is a pretty solid, consistent and veteran secondary. Deon Grant is one of the captains of this team, that should tell you something. He's a hard hitter and has great anticipation, which makes up for Brian Russell's stupid plays. He's the admitted weak point of this team. I'm excited to see Curry and Tatupu together, Leroy Hill just needs to consistently make tackles in the open field. It comes down to stopping the run for us this year, and if the linebackers can step up like they're expected to I don't see why we can't beat out the Cards. No way the 49ers win the division, not with Shaun Hill, Alex Smith, or Nate Davis at QB. Singletary is a great motivator but that team just isn't built for the playoffs right now, and not having Crabtree won't help. I don't think I need to mention the Rams.

Too bad there's 16 games. 9+6=15 Seahawks will win the NFC West, Panthers in the South, Vikings in the North, and Giants/Eagles/Redskins will beat each other up in the East. Any 2 of those could make it.
