  1. Agreed. btw, these guys aren't really that comparable.
  2. Flight

    Happy birthday Jil.

  3. Bush is so much slower than Bolt, it's ridiculous. They can't be compared. Bolt is what, 5" taller than Bush? No comparison. Like I said, I don't think he will, I don't think it would be smart for him to, but if he learned how to catch efficiently and practiced with pro coaches and players, he could do it. I'm not saying he'd be the second coming of 2007 Randy Moss, but he could score a couple TDs in a year and draw defenders away from other guys.
  4. This is going to be either a disaster for GB and Brett throws 6 TDs, or he breaks his arm and Tarv can play.
  5. Roy, scorer, passer, leader. Melo isn't the leader of Denver, and of course he's going to be a better rebounder, he's much bigger than Roy. Roy is a combo guard, Melo is a small forward. Defensively, Roy has the edge. I don't see where Melo improved his defense so much that there's even an argument, but Roy has been solid consistently and doesn't get burned often. Scoring wise, Melo's the better scorer but it's not that much bigger of a margin. I'd say I'd rather have Roy taking the last shot than Carmelo too, he's much more clutch.
  6. True. Oh, what about Scottie Reynolds? Seems like he's been around forever haha. Kalen Lucas might get consideration too, but I don't see him winning it. I'm curious to see how John Wall performs.
  7. Meh, after winning 5 straight you could haha. Yankees pretty much have the division as long as they don't completely collapse, at which point they'd probably take the wildcard. Rays and Rangers might end up being in a battle for the WC though, both of which I'd enjoy seeing in the playoffs.
  8. Hey when you win by 9 and put up an Andrew Jackson you have to accept a blowout loss a day later haha. Man, Cano is becoming a superstar. Oh, voted July 1st, that game is a classic.
  9. Yeah, and Chris Johnson can't run the 40 in 4.2 seconds with pads on either. The point is, he's a good third of a second faster in the 40 (which is about a step for him I'd guess, enough to be open enough to catch a pass given any hands) than anyone that's going to be defending him. You'd have to sag so much in fear of the deep ball, or put a safety pretty much 25 yards off the LOS just waiting for him, or he'd catch a short pass (bringing him down would probably not be easy for a smaller corner). He could also run 20 yards and cut back, I mean the possibilities would be endless for someone of that speed. He'd have to learn to run routes and have someone teach him to catch the ball, but he could do it if given the opportunity I think.
  10. I split my stuff with AE/A&F and Nike/Adidas usually. Also go with Billabong, Volcom, Element, that type of stuff.
  11. Eddie Royal is slower, smaller, and was less of a target than Hester will be. He was an afterthought until Marshall went out, and then got the ball thrown to him more. Who does the Bears have to take catches away from Hester? Greg Olsen will be a redzone target but Hester is a deep ball threat. Royal played as a slot receiver most of the time.
  12. WTF, I just read TT's post. I played baseball for years, then decided to play golf because I had a better chance at a scholarship doing it, and I enjoy it just as much. Turns out Golf is more difficult that baseball for me by a long shot, and that's with me being the second ranked golfer at my school and #1 in my class. I could hit .500 in baseball (quit before HS or that wouldn't have stayed .500, but .300 would still be realistic), but in Golf shooting in the 70's is so hard, that I've never done it once let alone shoot under par. Tiger can't hit a 375 yard drive on a normal hole, unless the fairway is dry and downhill nobody can do that (apart from the long drive contest guys, but their game consists of nothing more than hitting as far as they can with one club that they get used to). I don't know how that relates, anyway, but I had to respond haha.
  13. ESPN Fantasy projects him at 784 receiving yards, 104 rushing yards, and 6 TDs on offense (idk what they project him to have returning punts). If he has that many yards, he should have more TDs I'd say now that he has a real QB. I'm not saying Bolt should become a WR, but given coaching and if he was dedicated he could pull it off to some extent. He clearly has athletic ability, I don't see why he couldn't catch a football.
  14. Neither, but we killed Aloha haha. Southridge... idk if we played.
  15. Some are annoying, but the ones at my HS are fine.
  16. I'm going to say Kevin Smith, just because the other points have been hashed in this thread. He has a passing game to take some pressure off of him, and he should be able to run in a few openings this year, something he didn't have last season. TD-wise, he might have the most of the bunch, and yards should be around MoJo and Forte.
  17. He's already 200 lbs., he'd only need to put on maybe 30 to survive a hit haha. Although his body would fit as a TE better, but his speed would make him a Calvin Johnson type-receiver if he could catch. Devin Hester had pretty lame hands catching passes his rookie year, now he's projected to be a what, 800 yard, 8 TD guy? If someone spent a few years with Bolt teaching him to catch, he could do it, but he might as well just break records sprinting. btw, I heard on ESPN that in his 100 meter WR run, the first 40 yards took him 3.9 seconds. Wow, Chris Johnson is over a quarter of a second slower haha.
  18. If I'm shading someone (right or left handed) to their right, I'll use my left hand, and vice-versa like you said. If it's just a pull up or something straight forward, it's best to go with the opposite hand (righty shooter, lefty block). For me I have a shoulder problem in my right arm (probably rotator cuff) that doesn't let me bend as much, so I can get higher with my left hand on a two-footed jump. If I try to go up high for a layup or something I just go righty, but for me blocks are usually left handed. Rather than block though, I usually face guard with the blocking hand. Doesn't help your stats, but it's rare that someone will make one at any level below college.
  19. I'm a 6'0", 150 lb. PG, so I'm almost like a mini TJ Ford (if that's possible to be smaller than him). I'm a drive first, pass second, get hacked/occasionally get an And-1 to fall player. I score about 12 points a game, but I'm more of a passer and defender. Most of my points come on fast breaks and free throws (I shoot about 85% from the line), and the occasional 3 pointer. My weakest point for scoring is that I don't adjust well to shooting different distances (at game speed, when I've got someone on me. if it's HORSE, I'm fine haha), so I'm dialed in to the 3 pointers and free throws, but beyond that it's questionable. I like to use my quickness (I'm quick and evasive around screens, and fast in the open floor) to drive to the hoop, then dish to the open man. If there's absolutely nothing there I'll try to draw a foul (at my weight, any contact from a big man looks like a flagrant haha). On defense I use my long arms (I have a 6'3" or 6'4" wingspan) to create some cheap turnovers, and use my anticipation (probably my best natural attribute is anticipation, I have experience as a CB and played about every sport so I anticipate most passes) to get some more steals/tips. Statistiacally I'm terrible with turnovers and fouls, but a lot of the turnovers come from me tipping passes out of bounds that would be open shots. I foul about 3.5 times a game since I go for a lot of steals, but when I get to 3 fouls I play more conservatively and stay away from gambling. I face guard people a lot, sometimes it pisses them off and I can draw a charge haha. I'm a smart player that's not very talented or skilled with the ball, but my speed, handling, passing, vision, instincts, and defense keep me on the floor.
  20. Welcome fool (I recruited him so no worries, initiation is acceptable).
  21. Nice list, I don't think Patterson has a chance to be honest though. He's solid, but not POY quality to me. I can't think of anyone to replace him though, I'm not remembering who's left haha.
  22. This, with a slight chance of Brown at 6.
  23. Happy birthday man. Have a good one ;)
