  1. Year You Became a Fan:05/06 Why You Became a Fan: Loved how Chris Paul played, felt good for the team trying to make it even with Katrina. Favorite Hornets Player, All-Time: Chris Paul Favorite Hornets Coach, All-Time: Byron Scott Favorite Hornets Moment: The All Star Game in New Orleans in '08, the city was so happy to have a good team. Amount of Hornets Games Attended: None.
  2. Year You Became a Fan: 2003 Why You Became a Fan: Moved to Oregon Favorite Trail Blazers Player, All-Time: Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge, Sebastian Telfair, Martell Webster, Clyde Drexler Favorite Trail Blazers Coach, All-Time: Nate the Great McMillan (done wonders for the team) Favorite Trail Blazers Moment: It hasn't happened yet. When Oregon gets to say Rip City's bringing home a banner. Amount of Trail Blazers Games Attended: None yet, but I will soon I think.
  3. Why? Law and Brewer are WEAK, Durant can score and play a little D and that's about it, Al Horford is a good post player but never going to blow up for 30 points, and Oden is constantly injured, and when he plays is inconsistent right now.
  4. I am a potential champion with strange answers.
  5. Gotta be the Amazon. It's the second longest river.
  6. Dusty Baker. I still believe. lol Sabean has done wonders, did them with the Roid Nut Busters and is now doing it with farm system pitching. I'd say Scoscia (I know I spelled that wrong, but whatever) gets the edge this season from me, but it's a yearly change. Beinfest and Gonzalez deserve mention with what they've made the Marlins into. (I had to look up there names, I can't lie, but that team does so much with so little every year it seems like. Playoffs or not, they've really done well for their buck)
  7. This is interesting because Portland has arguably the best trio, but Bayless isn't proven yet he shows potential. OKC has a very solid group of 4, but Harden is an unknown at this point. Memphis has another great trio with an unknown. Now I realize Portland has a lot of young guys including Webster, Outlaw, Fernandez, and Batum, OKC has some young guys that could turn out to be studs (Ibaka will be a very good center if he develops an offensive game), and Memphis has a lot of young depth too with Gasol, Arthur, Young, Carroll, and more. So in the 2015 NBA Finals, which core from the current NBA teams has the best shot of being there? I realize the odds all of these guys stay together is slim to none, but give them time to develop and all of them could become All Stars, if they aren't already.
  8. TJ Ford, why he wasn't mentioned IDK, maybe because he's got a broken neck and they're discriminating. Brooks second I guess, cause I'm a UO homer.
  9. The Finals from last year, most active threads I've seen. Lots of good arguments, and lots of dumb ones, which were better to spectate.
  10. Not this year, only +5 wins this year. I say Bengals go 6-10, Eagles 11-5.
  11. I agree with the latter half of that, but I still think Emeka is the better player. I feel like he's a better defender, with less athleticism, and a better scorer down low, albeit raw.
  12. It's like the cleaned up version of the Bengals, +10 wins.
  13. While I do wish he was a better passer, Tyson isn't exactly Vlade Divac. All Emeka really needs to do is catch passes and score, on a limited basis. 90% of the Hornets offense consists of perimeter passing and penetration, until someone gets open. There are a lot of catch-and-shoot opportunities for guys, but for Emeka it will be strictly from inside 6 or 8 feet, with maybe a third of his points coming from alley-oops. It's not like he'll never have to pass, but he won't have the ball coming to him often unless he's got a good chance to score.
  14. For some reason I laughed when I read that lol. So true and blatant. He shot himself in the leg. idk if I want that on the field, he's talented but stupid. Even though Softy lets everyone back in the NFL the same season, the judicial system may say otherwise.
  15. I'm not calling one in room service yet, but I think it's either going to end up with a 12+ win season or end in disaster with Minn missing the playoffs altogether. Not that Tarv is ready to start, or that Sage is a miracle kid, but idk about the 25 picks the Vikes just inherited, should he play 16 games. Percy Harvin is going to become a star, Tarv can go in with Percy and run a very confusing, explosive wildcat, and Shiancoe is the most underrated pass-catching TE in the league. There are weapons, and it's not like Adrian doesn't know how to do it on his own. The defense is there, slightly less experienced than last year, but still great. I'm going to say he retires after this, comes back next year and starts every game, then sits out the first quarter of week 17 so that his consecutive games started streak ends at 300.
  16. I wouldn't consider either a star, but definitely not Tyson. Meka was the face of Charlotte, but that's the closest he'll be to being a star. That said, Meka will be better for NOH.
  17. West, but it's getting closer. The bottom of the East is a lot weaker than the bottom of the West, while up top it's a tossup.
  18. I'd add CP3 and DWest, and Deron and Boozer (but that one won't last probably, so I guess not). Paul and West aren't the best duo, but they're honorable enough to mention. I think you have to say Kobe and Pau right now, Pau's IMO the most important guy to that team, while Kobe's one of the best players in the NBA year in and year out.
  19. Smitty's hammered/baked. lol way to post on OTR soooooo Photoshop is the slowest program to load, ever... this computer sucks though.
  20. lol I was looking for a good Jonathan Stewart pic on SI.com, and the swimsuit GOAT pics was there. http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/multimedia/photo_gallery/0906/swimsuit.selects/images/marisa-miller2.jpg
