  1. LET'S MOVE IT ALONG J.

  2. http://www.chrisoleary.com/projects/Baseball/Hitting/Videos/Video_Hitting_KenGriffeyJr_CF_HRDerby_001.gif Who doesn't love the backwards hat at the HR Derby that he started?
  3. If he plays 70 games, that's great. If he wins 70, then he's immediately the GOAT lol.
  4. If this is the Vick you get, then I think he can play in the NFL this year. Right now I think he'll go to the New York Sentinels, get to play in the Big Apple with the spotlight on him, get out of debt, show NFL teams he can still play, then maybe be a midseason signing. http://betterthanmontana.com/images/p1_vick_u254.jpg He'll get to compete against JP Losman, and other ex-NFL players trying to get back in the league.
  5. I feel like he is going to get worn out from being the go-to-guy for the past 5 or 6 years, whatever it's been since the Shaq trade. He's going into his 14th season, and his body will eventually wear out a little. I'm not saying he's going to pull an AI and go from being a potential scoring champ to a bench leach, but he might not be the same 28 PPG guy. Wade on the other hand will benefit from a solid team, a solid year to build off of, and health to improve. I think he can be a better player than Kobe by 2010, when they both could potentially have new teams (even though it looks like they'll stay both places). So yeah Guru, I'm going off what I think. He's gonna be 31 by the start of the season, you can't go forever, no matter how invincible we all want to believe he is.
  6. I think scoring 35 points one night, and 23 the next should at least get you a roster spot. http://www.nba.com/games/20090325/LACNYK/boxscore.html 35 points, 14/20, 8 boards, 3 dimes, 2 steals http://www.nba.com/games/20090327/LACSAS/boxscore.html 23 points, 10/13, 3 boards, 3 dimes (the next game) He has potential. Needs to add a little weight though, he's real wiry. 6'2" and 165.
  7. Hey man, stay active, and you stole my sig quote. Kanye is the king, so keep your quote lol.
  8. I think it's Felton, DJ is younger and might be a better shooter, but I think Felton is the better passer, and will reach a higher pinnacle than DJ.
  9. Which Bobcats PG do you feel is the better PG of the future, or the better PG to build the franchise around?
  10. You'll be surprised by OKC this year, they'll win more than 35 games. Green, Westbrook, and Harden will all be very good players, and if they get any depth through a few trades they'll be close to 40 wins I think.
  11. Someone will pick him up, he's never had a shot to play much but has shown he could be a decent player.
  12. You're that sure...? It's not that easy to walk on I don't think, unless you're a total stud or something lol.
  13. Phils, because Boston has Varitek, and for 1B and 3B, they have Youk and Lowell, plus Kotchman... there wasn't much of a need. I guess Tek won't start now, or what? He's a better catcher, but Victor is a 10x better hitter at this point. Lee will be a good pitcher in the 2 or 3 spot of their rotation.
  14. I'm going to try to play golf somewhere collegiately, maybe U of O or Portland State...
  15. Oh, Phightins reminded me about the seasons part. I'd guess he'll come back for one more after this, but it could be the end this year too. I'll say he comes back for another season and tears it up, hits 25 dingers, bats in 100, and hits a lot closer to .300 than he will this year. Might be a stretch, but it's doable if the lineup around him improves (which it will I think, the Mariners are pretty young with a few other guys that aren't going to drop off in a year).
  16. 09/10 Blazers = Portland GOAT

  17. That's not really what I did. I didn't include racial slurs, I included a common misnomer that the majority of the world knows them by (as I said, wrongly so, which is why I removed it). I wasn't being racist, and didn't do that unknowingly or stupidly. I did it for the unfortunate people out there that don't know the difference. I then realized that if they didn't know the difference, they could figure it out so I took it down. If it was offensive to Native Americans (which I'm assuming you are, since you seem to know this firsthand) then I apologize. There was no harm intended, and it has since been changed. But really, you're exaggerating far too much. Thank you Dr.
  18. I'm also a Griffey fan, and living in the Northwest I see him on a nightly basis on FSN. He's about half as productive as the prime of his career with all things considered, but he's still a decent player. If he didn't get injured so much, I think he'd have the All Time HR record, or at least be approaching it and giving Barry a good scare. Plus, he did it all without steroids, I'd bet my money on it. He's on pace for something in the region of 18 homers and 55 RBI this year, but he could easily have a better second half and have more like 25 homers and 80 RBI, which is pretty productive, especially for 20+ year veteran. He's not hitting for a very good average, but his sweet swing might come around now that he's played half a season in a row consistently for the first time since 07. Last year was up and down, and with the trade he didn't always have a consistent spot to play, he does now. I think he'll pull his average up to .250, which still isn't good but it'll be better. He has more hitters around him now than he has since he last played in Seattle, and with the recent trade for Jack Wilson that's an extra runner on when he gets up. He should play a lot better with that around him. Defensively, he's lost a little speed but he's still a sure catch if it's in his range.
  19. What, they don't want a 7 footer running the offense?
  20. He'd fit in with the potential 110 PPG offense and 110 PPG defense.
  21. Victor has 67 RBI this year, on pace for over 100. He'll be in a better lineup, so he might push the envelope of 115 ribbies. He was a good acquisition. Another thing you don't seem to be looking at KF, is that catchers need to have games off much more often than anyone else on the field (except for a starting pitcher obviously). Catching wears on you, and now they have a very quality backup to Varitek that can play first in the meantime. Don't DH him, leave Papi there now that he's hitting again. You've now got Youk, Lowell, and Victor. Youk can play first or third, while Lowell is pretty much a third basemen. Adam LaRoche is rumored to be going somewhere in a 3-team trade for Victor from what I've heard.
  22. Uhh, don't be the one to call me a moron. I'm a pretty intelligent kid for my age. Yeah, India is in Asia, no [expletive] Sherlock. And Canadians are American, because they're in North America. So are Brazilians, but in South America. I don't call them Americans, and I don't call Indians Asians because they aren't in the same ethnic group as Chinese, Japanese, or other "Asians" if that makes sense. I put it in quotation marks because Native Americans aren't technically Native Americans anymore, they're "Tribal Affiliates" supposedly. It's a technicality. I only included the term "Indians" in with Native Americans because, believe it or not, that's what the majority of people think they are, right or wrong. I was 100% sure that was incorrect, hence the quotation marks. If I say that you're a "moron" does that mean that I'm not guaranteed to be calling you that, I could be unsure of myself and really want to be your friend? It makes no sense. You're being a complete dick about something I did in an attempt to help the less-understanding individuals still understand the poll. I took the term off because I did agree that even though it is the wrong identification Tribal Affiliates go by, it shouldn't be up there. I corrected my mistake, but the mistake that was made was not that I thought that's what they fell under. You seem to be more concerned about what I did for the undedicated people more so than looking at the results educated people might be interested in. You're the one telling me I'm the reason the world needs better education? That's a pretty strong statement for someone of your position.
